Abstract

Abstract The choice of the topic of “Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat” (PkM) is based on the current situation which is being hit by the covid-19 global pandemic. PkM programs that are truly related and touch directly to the target audience or the community as partners cannot be carried out. The partners of this activity are “Ibu-ibu PKK” RW 03 Pisangan Timur Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta. Therefore, this PkM program prioritizes the virtual socialization of the use of organic waste which is an environmentally friendly household cleaning material, conceptualizing eco-enzyme, including disinfectants, antiseptics, and hand sanitizers. Eco enzyme is a liquid from the results of fermentation of organic residues in the form of fruit and/or vegetables, which are light brown, sometimes rather dark, and have a distinctive aroma of fermentation results. This eco enzyme can be used for a variety of things, such as household cleaners, soaps, shampoos, facial and body treatments, fertilizers, even as environmentally friendly disinfectants. This activity resulted in a simple module that could serve as a guidebook for further activities, namely training in the process of making eco-enzyme. Abstrak Pemilihan topik kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini didasarkan atas situasi sekarang ini yang sedang dilanda pandemik global covid-19. Program PkM yang sejatinya berhubungan dan menyentuh langsung ke khalayak sasaran atau masyarakat sebagai mitra tidak dapat dilakukan. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu PKK di lingkungan RW 03 Kelurahan Pisangan Timur Kecamatan Pulo Gadung Jakarta Timur. Oleh karena itu, program PkM ini memprioritaskan pada sosialisasi virtual pemanfaatan limbah atau sampah organik menjadi bahan pembersih rumah tangga yang ramah lingkungan, berkonsep eco enzyme (ekoenzim), termasuk disinfektan, antiseptik, dan hand sanitizer. Eco enzyme adalah cairan dari hasil fermentasi sisa organik berupa buah dan/atau sayur, yang berwarna coklat muda, kadang agak gelap, dan memiliki aroma khas hasil fermentasi. Eco enzyme ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai hal, seperti pembersih rumah tangga, sabun, sampo, perawatan wajah dan tubuh, pupuk, bahkan sebagai disinfektan yang ramah lingkungan. Luaran dari kegiatan ini menghasilkan modul sederhana mengenai pemanfaatan limbah organik sehingga dapat menjadi panduan dalam kegiatan selanjutnya, yaitu pelatihan proses pembuatan eco enzyme.

Abstract

This article describes coherence and cohesion in the instructive (procedural) text of Chinese bun recipes. This paper aims to explain the coherence of meaning and form in the instructive text. By adhering to the view of positivism, the study used methods of content analysis and variation analysis of discourse, focusing on structural categories in the text, including forms and meanings in clauses. The coherence of meaning and form in the instructive text of bun recipes is interrelated. The coherence of meaning indicates the relations of parallels between instructions, expressed by verbs, and also result in a chronological relation, expresses successive and progression. There is no contradiction in the instructions. In this instructive text of the Chinese bun recipes, there is also an individual identity as a coherence marker, refers to the concept of buns skin and buns filling. Grammatical cohesion is showed by anaphoric references, subject ellipsis, and conjunctions of succesive relation. Lexical cohesion is indicated by reiteration, namely repetitions, such as noun, verb, preposition, and conjunction. Reiteration is also expressed by synonyms such as verb, preposition, and conjunction synonyms, as well as hyponyms and hyperonyms expressed by the inclusion of meaning in the ingredients for making buns.

Abstract

Digital literacy has become an essential competency for secondary school students as they navigate the rapid flow of online information. Preliminary identification at SMA Negeri 67 Jakarta indicated that most students still demonstrated low levels of digital literacy, particularly in evaluating information and using learning applications effectively. This community service program implemented a micro-learning model as a structured, concise, and accessible instructional approach delivered through students' digital devices. The method consisted of needs analysis, micro-learning content development, training sessions, individual mentoring, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests and classroom observations. The results showed a substantial improvement in students' digital literacy, with average scores increasing from 55 to 78. The distribution of student scores also shifted positively, marked by a significant reduction in low-score categories and an increase in high-achievement groups. Beyond cognitive gains, the program enhanced student engagement, independence, and collaborative skills during learning activities. These findings indicate that micro-learning is an effective and contextually appropriate approach for strengthening digital literacy in secondary education, and it holds strong potential for further development as a sustainable digital learning strategy.
