Abstract

This study was motivated by the low levels of student activity, collaboration skills, critical thinking, and learning outcomes in Grade V of SDN Sungai Miai 8 Banjarmasin. These issues were caused by one-way teaching, minimal interaction, lack of varied instructional models and media, and a monotonous classroom atmosphere. The purpose of this research was to describe teacher activity and analyze improvements in student engagement, collaboration skills, critical thinking, and learning outcomes through the implementation of the CANGKAL model using Wordwall media. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted over four meetings in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, involving 14 students. The study used a qualitative approach, with data collected through observations of teacher and student activities, and written tests to assess learning outcomes, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. The findings showed improvements in all observed aspects. Teacher activity reached the "very good" category, while student activity increased from "moderately active" to "very active". Collaboration and critical thinking skills also improved significantly, from "moderately skilled" to "highly skilled". These improvements positively impacted student learning outcomes, which increased classically from one meeting to the next. It can be concluded that the CANGKAL model combined with Wordwall media effectively enhances the quality of learning. It is recommended as an alternative model to improve student engagement and overall academic performance).

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low critical thinking skills and reading comprehension skills in the Indonesian language content of fifth grade elementary school students. The solution to this problem is to use the BERGEMA model where this model is a combination of the Problem Based Learning, Student Teams Achievement Division, and Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning models. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' critical thinking skills and reading comprehension skills. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in four meetings. The subjects of this study are 19 fifth grade elementary school students. The results of this study indicate that students' critical thinking skills are implemented up to 85% with the criteria of very skilled and students' reading comprehension skills are implemented up to 89% with the criteria of very skilled.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that students experience difficulties in learning activities, which impacts their low ability to understand reading texts and express thoughts logically, as well as challenges in developing skills. Therefore, learning innovation is needed through a combination of Mind Mapping, Project Based Learning (PjBL), and Cooperative Learning models, aimed at describing teacher activities and analyzing improvements in student activities and psychomotor skills for second-grade students at SDN Pasar Lama 1 Banjarmasin. This research employs a qualitative and quantitative approach using Classroom Action Research (PTK), conducted over four meetings in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research subjects consist of 29 students. Data were collected through observations of teacher activities, student activities, and psychomotor skills, as well as written tests for quantitative data. Data analysis was performed using percentages and predetermined learning completion indicators. The results show that teacher activities in each meeting were carried out in the "Good" criteria and improved to a score of 35. Student activities increased from 14% in the "Good" criteria in the first meeting to 100% in the fourth meeting. Students' psychomotor skills also improved to 100% in the final meeting. Based on these results, the combination of Mind Mapping, Project Based Learning (PJBL), and Cooperative Learning models effectively enhances student activities and psychomotor skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah karakter disiplin dan prestasi belajar peserta didik meningkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan empat kali pertemuan di kelas II semester genap SDN Sungai Miai 11 Banjarmasin. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes penilaian. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan interpretasi persentase seperti yang tercantum pada tabel. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian, menujukkan keterampilan karakter disiplin peserta didik pada setiap pertemuan meningkat hingga mencapai 90% dengan kriteria "Sangat Terampil", dan prestasi belajar pada setiap pertemuan meningkat hingga mencapai 90% dengan kriteria "Tuntas". Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penggunaan model PANCING dapat meningkatkan karakter disiplin dan prestasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low levels of listening, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, as well as the poor learning outcomes, observed among third-grade students at SDN Sepakat Bersama. These issues stemmed from a one-way instructional process and a lack of student engagement, which resulted in limited active participation, insufficient use of technology as an instructional medium, and a lack of student interest and motivation. The study aimed to describe teacher activities and analyze student activities, listening skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and learning outcomes through the implementation of the BEBAS model and Wordwall media. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with a qualitative approach, conducted over two cycles comprising four meetings. The subjects were 16 students during the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and written tests. The results showed that teacher activity improved from a score of 18 to 24, reaching the "excellent" category. Student activity increased from 62% to 100% at the class level. Listening skills improved from 31% to 100%, critical thinking skills from 25% to 100%, and collaboration skills from 44% to 100% at the class level. These improvements also positively impacted student learning outcomes, which rose from 30% to 100%. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that the use of the BEBAS model and Wordwall media effectively enhances teacher and student activities, listening skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The poor levels of involvement, listening comprehension, critical thinking, and teamwork among fifth graders at SDN Telaga Biru 8 were the issue this study attempted to address. The SOLID learning approach, which combines Problem-Based Learning, Discovery Learning, and Numbered Heads Together, was developed to address these problems. The study's objectives were to characterize and evaluate teacher and student activities as well as look at ways that students' critical thinking, listening, teamwork, and learning outcomes had improved. 23 fifth graders participated in the three sessions of the study, which employed a qualitative methodology utilizing Classroom Action Research (CAR). Written tests, observations, and interviews were used to gather data. From the first to the third session, there were notable improvements in the findings. The score for teacher activity rose from 18 to 23. From 44% to 86%, the student in the class made progress. Critical thinking abilities from 52% to 95%, cooperation abilities from 56% to 95%, and listening abilities from 47% to 91%. Students' learning outcomes also improved as a result of these advancements, with cognitive performance rising from 56% to 95%, emotional performance from 52% to 91%, and psychomotor performance from 60% to 95%. These findings suggest that the SOLID learning approach is successful in raising learning outcomes, 21st-century skills, and student engagement.

Abstract

Low levels of learning activity and deficiencies in reading comprehension, critical thinking, and speaking skills have resulted in suboptimal Indonesian language learning outcomes for fifth-grade students. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the BERCERITA learning model in enhancing these three skills as well as student learning outcomes, employing a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with 14 fifth-grade students from SDN Telaga Biru 6 as participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and tests, and subsequently analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results demonstrated improvements in reading comprehension and critical thinking skills from 28.6% to 92.8%, and in speaking skills from 14.3% to 92.8%. Mastery of learning outcomes also improved, with achievement rates reaching 100% in the affective and psychomotor domains and 92.8% in the cognitive domain. Thus, the BERCERITA learning model has proven effective as an alternative for enhancing the quality of Indonesian language instruction in primary schools.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problem of poor student activity, cooperation abilities, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and learning outcomes in Indonesian language acquisition. These conditions were produced by inadequate student participation in the learning process, poor adoption of novel learning models, and the suboptimal use of interactive learning resources. The study used the PEDULI learning approach, which is backed by Quizizz media, to solve these issues. 26 fifth-grade students from SDN Pangeran 1 Banjarmasin participated in three sessions of Classroom Action Research (CAR) during the second semester of the 2025–2026 school year. Observations of student and teacher activities, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and learning outcomes were used to gather data. The results demonstrated a gradual improvement in all observed aspects at each meeting. Teacher activities rose from 46% to 96%, student activities from 46% to 92%, cooperation skills from 42% to 88%, critical thinking skills from 38% to 88%, problem-solving abilities from 42% to 92%, and learning outcomes from 46% to 92%. These findings indicate that the PEDULI learning model supplemented by Quizizz media effectively increased the quality of the learning process and students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian language acquisition.
