Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the stages of empowering household women based on gender through batik training by the Marunda Batik Group (2) the results of increasing family income among member women of the Marunda Batik household. The approach used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources of this study consist of 11 individuals, namely 1 person as the program manager or chairperson and 10 women household artisans in Marunda Batik at Rusun Marunda Cilincing, North Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the stages of empowering household women based on gender through batik training by the Marunda Batik Group consist of preparation stage, assessment stage, planning stage, formulation of action plan stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage, and termination stage (2) the results of increasing family income among women household artisans in the Marunda Batik Group can help women in increasing family economic income but have not brought significant changes to the needs of women household. Although basic needs, security, and social activities have been fulfilled, they have not shown initiative in developing their batik motif ideas. Nevertheless, the need for self-actualization has been fulfilled through the education provided to their children.

Abstract

Many teachers still exhibit suboptimal performance. The lack of human resources and issues related to insufficient facilities are also considered as factors hindering the improvement of teacher performance. Based on these issues, the objective of this research is to analyze the influence of professional competence and organizational climate on teacher performance in senior high schools. This study employs a quantitative method, emphasizing the collection of numerical data to be analyzed using statistical techniques. The population in this study consists of all teachers at a public high school, with a total of 46 teachers. The sample includes all teachers at the high school, also totaling 46 teachers, selected through the Total Sampling method. The data collection methods used include questionnaires and document studies. The research instrument comprises a structured closed-ended questionnaire and documentation guidelines. Data analysis techniques involve both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study reveal that professional competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a coefficient value of 0.479. This indicates that improvements in professional competence will positively impact teacher performance. In addition, the organizational climate also significantly influences teacher performance, with a coefficient value of 0.580. If both professional competence and the school’s organizational climate are enhanced and well-conditioned, they will have a positive effect on improving teacher performance, which in turn will contribute to the improvement of educational quality.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of training and professional competence on the quality of learning, while examining the mediating role of work culture among teachers in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in the Walantaka sub-district. An explanatory quantitative research design was employed, using a closed-ended questionnaire administered to 71 respondents selected through a total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using path analysis with SPSS 26 to evaluate the direct and indirect effects of the variables. The findings reveal that training has a significant positive direct effect on learning quality (path coefficient = 0.261, p = 0.022, t = 4.730). Professional competence also demonstrates a significant direct effect (path coefficient = 0.208, p = 0.046, t = 3.656). Furthermore, work culture significantly enhances the quality of teacher learning (path coefficient = 0.342, p = 0.003, t = 5.404). Training indirectly influences learning quality through work culture, as confirmed by a Sobel t-value of 2.484, while professional competence does not exhibit a significant indirect effect (Sobel t = 1.392). Collectively, training, professional competence, and work culture account for 49.9% of the variance in work behavior, with the remaining 50.1% explained by other factors not included in this study. This research contributes to the literature on teacher professional development by demonstrating the critical role of work culture as a mediating factor that strengthens the impact of training on learning quality. The findings provide practical implications for educational policymakers and school leaders in designing training programs and fostering positive organizational cultures to enhance teacher performance and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan hubungan: 1) motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru di SDN Kedaleman Gugus Cibeber; 2) kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja Guru di SDN Kedaleman Gugus Cibeber; 3) motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional secara bersama sama dengan kinerja guru di SDN Kedaleman Gugus Cibeber. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 guru di SDN Kedaleman Gugus Cibeber. Data untuk penelitian dikumpulkan, kuesioner yang disebarkan sebanyak 80 kuesioner, dan dapat diolah sebanyak 80 kuesioner. Pengolahan data menggunakan pengujian validitas, pengujian reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas, uji multikoliniaritas, uji korelasi, dan uji signinikansi melalui program SPSS versi 22.0. Terdapat hubungan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji korelasi dan signifikan diperoleh nilai pearson correlation sebesar 0,584 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,005, terdapat hubungan kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji korelasi dan signifikan diperoleh nilai pearson correlation sebesar 0,495 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,005, terdapat hubungan motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja guru yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji koefisien korelasi dan signifikan berkorelasi secara simultan sebesar Rhitung 0,701 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,005. Motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional secara bersama-sama mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan dibuktikan dengan uji F yaitu Fhitung 37,215>Ftabel 3,151. Guru sebaiknya meningkatkan motivasi kerja dan kompetensi profesional sehingga kinerja guru meningkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara supervisi kepala sekolah dengankomunikasi interpersonal secara parsial dan simultan dengan etos kerja guru pada SD di kecamatan Taktakan Kota Serang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif mendekati. Subjek penelitiannya adalah guru sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah pengawasan kepala sekolah dan komunikasi interpersonal. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara supervisi kepala sekolah dengan interpersonal komunikasi secara parsial dan simultan signifikan dengan etos kerja guru dalam SD di kecamatan Taktakan Kota Serang.
