Abstract

ABSTRAKSuasana kota umumnya tercipta dari karakteristik fisik berbagai tata ruang kota dan interaksi sosial di dalamnya. Komponen visual yang dirasakan memberikan beragam sensasi yang mengarahkan individu menangkap kualitas dari situasi secara emosional yang mampu mempengaruhi mood atau suasana hati mereka. Di saat interaksi sosial terjadi, ekspresi tersenyum duchenne dapat terjadi ketika individu merasakan emosi-emosi positif. Namun, suasana kota dapat berubah di saat ada pembangunan ulang fasilitas publik. Hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi bentuk tata ruang kota dan potensi interaksi sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi suasana hati individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa banyak ekspresi senyum duchenne yang ada pada area kota yang ramai di pusat kota Kendari dan Jakarta Selatan. Penulis memilih pusat kota Kendari dan Jakarta Selatan karena memiliki fasilitas publik yang baik. Adapun kota Kendari saat ini membangun ulang beberapa pusat kotanya sejak tahun 2019. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan, kedua area kota memiliki jumlah frekuensi senyuman duchenne yang sama banyaknya di area suasana jenis consumerism dan peaceful and quiet. Namun, ada perbedaan jumlah di area suasana jenis vibrant dan historic, karena beberapa fasilitas di kota tua dan pusat kota Kendari saat observasi berada di tahap pembangunan ulang. Suasana kota merupakan hal yang penting untuk image kota karena memberikan pengalaman emosi positif bagi orang yang singgah atau berinteraksi sosial di lingkungan perkotaan.Katakunci: duchenne, suasana kota, vibrant, peaceful and quiet, consumerism, historic ABSTRACTThe atmosphere of the city created from pshysical characteristics of various urban spatial plans and social interaction in it. The perceived visual component provided sensations that directs individual to capture quality of situation emotionally which can affect their mood. When social interaction occurs, duchenne smile expressions can appear when individual feel positive emotion. However, city atmosphere can change when there is unfinished redevelopment of public facilities. This can affect the form of urban spatial and potential social interactions that can affect individual moods. This study aims to see how much duchenne smile expressions appear in downtown area in Kenadi and South Jakarta. The author chose city center of Kendari and Jakarta because they have good public facilites. The city of Kendari is currently rebuilding several of its facilities in city centers since 2019. Result show that both city areas had same number of duchenne smiles in areas of consumerism and peaceful & quiet type. However, there are differences in the number of vibrant and historic areas, its perhaps because some of the facilities in the old town and downtown Kendari at the time of observatio were in the reconstruction stage. City atmosphere is important for the image of the city becauses it provides positive emotional experiences for people who stop by or interact socially in urban environment.Keyword: duchenne, city atmosphere, vibrant, peaceful and quiet, consumerism, historic

Abstract

Personality traits are one of the intrapersonal factors that makes health workers differently doing quality of service orientation. As well as social support from family, friends, and significant others are one of interpersonal factor that assumedly can increase the desire of health workers to serve people better. This research aims to see the influence of personality traits and social support for service orientation of health worker during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses quantitative methods with linear regression analysis. Participants were 218 health workers who are active with various professions/jobs according definition of health workers in UU number 36 of 2014. The results show that the effectiveness of personality traits model (R2 adjusted = 0,309) and also the quality of social support (R2 adjusted = 0,166) can significantly predict (p < 0,01) service orientation. Personality traits especially agreeableness traits and conscientiousness traits were shown to be predictors. As well social support, especially from the significant other dimension has been proven to be a predictor. Thus, to improve service orientation, it is necessary to improve the quality of personality traits and social support received.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi merupakan tempat di mana seseorang mampu menghayati kepelbagaian yang begitu beragam. Mahasiswa sebagai pembelajar mandiri dengan budaya, adat istiadat, dan latar belakang berbeda tersebut berkolaborasi bersama untuk menjadi pribadi yang unggul. Selain aspek kognitif, mereka dituntut berbudi pekerti dan memiliki nilai humaniora. Hal ini akan membantu mereka memiliki relasi positif yang berdasarkan riset sebelumnya, relasi positif mampu meningkatkan keseluruhan well-being. Adapun kesatuan dalam keberagaman atau unity-in-diversity merupakan prinsip dari keindahan secara filosofi dan riset. Artikel ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh dari apresiasi keindahan terhadap relasi positif. Studi ini mengambil data 190 partisipan mahasiswa usia 18-25 tahun dengan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan kontribusi yang kuat dan signifikan apresiasi keindahan terhadap relasi positif. Dengan koefisien korelasi R sebesar .802 dan R2 sebesar .643 yang cukup tinggi pada model regresi. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adanya intervensi penguatan traits apresiasi keindahan untuk memelihara relasi positif mahasiswa selama mereka belajar di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Teachers' emotional regulation is a crucial aspect in the success of the learning process in elementary schools. Teachers' ability to manage emotions not only affects personal well-being, but also the quality of interactions with students and the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to identify and analyze various aspects that influence the emotions of elementary school teachers through a systematic literature review. This literature review uses a systematic review approach by analyzing 20 articles from Google Scholar published between 2005-2023. Articles were selected based on the following criteria: (1) focus on teacher emotional regulation, (2) research subjects of elementary/primary school teachers, (3) publication in reputable journals, and (4) clear research methodology. The analysis shows that elementary school teachers' emotional regulation is influenced by five main categories: (1) Personal factors (age, experience, self-efficacy), (2) Student factors (student behavior, academic achievement), (3) Work environment factors (coworker support, school climate, workload), (4) Organizational factors (school policies, climate reform), and (5) Work-life balance factors (personal-professional life balance). Primary school teachers’ emotion regulation is multifactorial and complex. A comprehensive understanding of these factors is essential for developing effective intervention programs to improve teacher well-being and learning quality.

Abstract

Asesmen literasi PISA tahun 2022 mengemukakan 68% siswa di Indonesia menganggap kreativitas mereka tidak dapat berkembang dari waktu ke waktu. Hal ini berarti, siswa cenderung melihat kemampuan diri dengan fixed mindset atau keyakinan bahwa kemampuan diri tidaklah dapat diubah. Hal ini dapat membuat mereka kesulitan di saat menghadapi tantangan kedepan ketika mereka menjadi mahasiswa. Di kota Gorontalo sendiri, skor IPM memperlihatkan peningkatan dari tahun 2012 hingga 2024. Namun, masih berada dibawah rata-rata skor nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara mindset dan kecerdasan emosional pada mahasiswa aktif di kota Gorontalo. Penelitian menggunakan desain korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Responden penelitian adalah 63 mahasiswa aktif di kota Gorontalo usia 17-23 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara mindset dan kecerdasan emosional dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.390** dan nilai signifikansi (p) < 0.005. Individu dengan growth mindset memiliki kemampuan lebih baik dalam mengelola tantangan dan kegagalan. Mahasiswa dengan growth mindset juga cenderung lebih terbuka terhadap feedback, melihat tantangan sebagai peluang pembelajaran, dan memiliki self-regulation yang lebih baik sebagai komponen kunci emotional intelligence. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengembangkan desain pelatihan untuk meningkatkan growth mindset melalui peningkatan kecerdasan emosional dan melihat berbagai variabel lainnya yang menguatkan hubungan antar variabel.

Abstract

Writing on digital platforms is an important competency for lecturers to share ideas, experiences, and research findings with the wider community. One digital publication platform that can be utilized for this purpose is Kompasiana. This training is designed to improve the writing abilities of novice lecturers at the Faculty of Education (FIP), State University of Gorontalo, while also encouraging their participation in digital literacy. The implementation method includes three stages: (1) preparation of a pocket guide for writing on Kompasiana, (2) socialization, and (3) training with a blended learning approach that includes individual consultation sessions. The training focuses on hands-on practice and mentoring based on participants' needs. Thirteen articles were successfully published by participants on diverse themes, including education, classroom, socio-cultural sciences, and work-life. This result demonstrates the success of the training in facilitating lecturers to produce relevant content according to their fields of expertise. Practice-based training with individual mentoring has proven effective in enhancing lecturers' writing skills. The diversity of article themes reflects participants' ability to independently develop ideas. Recommendations for future research include expanding the participant scope with SEO optimization and evaluating the long-term impact on lecturers' academic productivity.

Abstract

Indonesia has experienced a significant increase in cases of fictitious investments, resulting in losses of trillions of rupiah, indicating low financial literacy. This study aims to develop an e-module to prevent fictitious investments and analyze its impact on students' understanding of financial management. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The subjects were 87 Economics students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through expert judgment validation and a pretest-posttest, then analyzed using a Paired T-Test. Expert judgment validation indicated the e-module was suitable for use, with an average score of 4.4 on a scale of 5. Effectiveness testing demonstrated a significant increase in financial management understanding, from a mean pretest score of 3.44 to a posttest score of 8.98 (p<0.05). The e-module's effectiveness is supported by three main factors: accessibility that allows for self-directed learning, interactivity through quizzes and case simulations, and contextuality using real-life case studies of fraudulent investments in Indonesia. Abstract

ABSTRAK Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan masalah serius di Indonesia dengan 148.575 kasus pada 2023, termasuk 137 kasus di Gorontalo dalam 4 bulan pertama 2024. Faktor manusia, khususnya perilaku agresif mengemudi, menjadi penyebab utama kecelakaan. Kepribadian diidentifikasi sebagai faktor penting yang mempengaruhi perilaku aggressive driving, namun belum ada penelitian yang mengkaji hubungan dimensi kepribadian Big Five dengan perilaku agresif mengemudi di daerah Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional yang berlangsung selama 3 bulan di Provinsi Gorontalo. Sampel terdiri dari 180 pengemudi (82 laki-laki, 98 perempuan) yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria memiliki SIM dan sehari-hari mengendarai kendaraan di Gorontalo. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala Big Five Inventory (BFI) yang diadaptasi oleh Ramdhani (2012) dengan 44 item dan skala Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale (ADBS) dengan 11 item. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Spearman. Mayoritas responden adalah perempuan (54,4%) dengan pengalaman mengemudi >5 tahun (56,1%) dan menggunakan motor (76,7%). Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai yang baik untuk semua skala (α > 0,7). Hasil korelasi menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara perilaku agresif mengemudi dengan semua dimensi kepribadian: Conscientiousness (r = -0,400, p = 0,000), Agreeableness (r = -0,389, p = 0,000), Openness to Experience (r = -0,224, p = 0,002), Extraversion (r = -0,178, p = 0,017), dan Neuroticism (r = 0,435, p = 0,000). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian berperan signifikan dalam perilaku agresif mengemudi. Neuroticism memiliki hubungan positif terkuat, mengindikasikan bahwa ketidakstabilan emosi meningkatkan kecenderungan perilaku agresif. Sebaliknya, Conscientiousness dan Agreeableness berkorelasi negatif, menunjukkan bahwa sifat disiplin dan empati dapat mencegah perilaku agresif mengemudi. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan berbasis kepribadian dalam intervensi keselamatan berkendara, khususnya pelatihan pengelolaan emosi bagi pengemudi dengan tingkat neuroticism tinggi. Human factors, especially aggressive driving behavior, are the main cause of accidents. Personality has been identified as an important factor influencing aggressive driving behavior, but no research has examined the relationship between the Big Five personality dimensions and aggressive driving behavior in the Gorontalo area. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design that lasted for 3 months in Gorontalo Province. The sample consisted of 180 drivers (82 men, 98 women) selected using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of having a driver's license and driving a vehicle daily in Gorontalo. Data were collected using the Big Five Inventory (BFI) scale adapted by Ramdhani (2012) with 44 items and the Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale (ADBS) with 11 items. Data analysis used Spearman correlation. The majority of respondents were female (54.4%) with >5 years of driving experience (56.1%) and using motorcycles (76.7%). Reliability tests showed good values for all scales (α > 0.7). Correlation results showed a significant relationship between aggressive driving behavior and all personality dimensions: Conscientiousness (r = -0.400, p = 0.000), Agreeableness (r = -0.389, p = 0.000), Openness to Experience (r = -0.224, p = 0.002), Extraversion (r = -0.178, p = 0.017), and Neuroticism (r = 0.435, p = 0.000). The findings indicate that personality plays a significant role in aggressive driving behavior. Neuroticism has the strongest positive relationship, indicating that emotional instability increases the tendency for aggressive behavior. Conversely, Conscientiousness and Agreeableness gave a negative impression, indicating that discipline and empathy can prevent aggressive behavior in driving. These results emphasize the importance of a personality-based approach to driving safety interventions, particularly emotion management training for drivers with high levels of neuroticism. Abstract

ABSTRAK Fenomena crowding atau kesesakan di Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) merupakan isu penting yang berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan kesehatan anak usia dini (AUD). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul pengenalan dan mitigasi fenomena crowding di TK untuk meningkatkan literasi calon pendidik PAUD. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). E-modul dikembangkan melalui platform Canva dengan integrasi multimedia interaktif. Validasi expert judgement dilakukan oleh 2 ahli bidang Pendidikan dan Psikologi, serta uji efektivitas melalui pretest-posttest pada partisipan yang merupakan 25 calon pendidik. Validasi expert judgement menunjukkan skor rata-rata 4,5 dari 5,0 dengan aspek kemenarikan desain memperoleh skor tertinggi (4,75). Hasil paired t-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan partisipan dari skor mean pretest 3,92 menjadi posttest 6,96 (p = 0,000 < 0,05). E-modul pengenalan dan pencegahan crowding di TK terbukti valid dan efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan calon pendidik PAUD tentang fenomena crowding serta strategi mitigasinya. Kata Kunci: e-modul, crowding, kesesakan, Taman Kanak-Kanak, calon pendidik ABSTRACT The phenomenon of crowding in kindergartens (TK) is a significant issue that negatively impacts the cognitive, social, and health development of early childhood (AUD). This study aims to develop an e-module for recognizing and mitigating crowding in kindergartens to improve the literacy of prospective PAUD educators. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The e-module was developed using the Canva platform with interactive multimedia integration. Expert judgment validation was conducted by two experts in the fields of Education and Psychology, and effectiveness testing was conducted through a pretest-posttest on participants from The 25 prospective PAUD teachers. Expert judgment validation showed an average score of 4.5 out of 5.0 with the design attractiveness aspect obtaining the highest score (4.75). The results of the paired t-test showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge from a mean pretest score of 3.92 to a posttest score of 6.96 (p = 0.000 < 0.05). The e-module on recognizing and preventing crowding in kindergarten has proven valid and effective in increasing the knowledge of prospective PAUD educators about the phenomenon of crowding and its mitigation strategies.
