Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of health services and the level of satisfaction of outpatients at the Pati 1 Community Health Center (UPTD Puskesmas Pati 1). The quality of health care services is a key determinant in shaping the level of patient satisfaction. The assessment of this quality is not solely based on the achievement of medical interventions, but also includes the attitudes of health care personnel, the timeliness of service delivery, as well as the condition and comfort of the facilities. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of all outpatients at the Pati 1 Community Health Center in April 2025, totaling 173 patients, with a sample of 121 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and accidental sampling technique. The research instruments were a health service quality questionnaire and a patient satisfaction questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that most respondents rated the quality of health services as good (62.8%) and patient satisfaction as satisfied (53.7%). The Spearman Rank test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.692, indicating a strong and positive relationship between the quality of health services and the level of patient satisfaction. The better the quality of services provided, the higher the level of outpatient satisfaction.

Abstract

Conflict management is the ability of individuals or groups to handle differences of opinion and tension. Teamwork is an essential skill for nursing students, as the success of group tasks depends largely on communication, collaboration, and the ability to resolve conflicts that arise during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the relationship between conflict management in study groups and teamwork among nursing students. This study employs a cross-sectional technique and is quantitative in nature. There were 105 participants in this study The sample selection method using simple random sampling, namely random sampling, was used in this research. Data were analyzed using the Spearman rank test, utilizing a Likert scale consisting of 14 statements for the conflict management variable and 20 statements for the teamwork variable. With 60 respondents (57.1%), the majority of the outcomes from conflict management fall into the high category, according to the research that has been completed. With 59 responders (51.4%), teamwork is primarily rated as high. The p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) obtained from the statistical test indicates a relationship between the management of conflict in study groups and teamwork among undergraduate Nursing students at Sultan Agung Islamic University, Semarang.

Abstract

Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) merupakan pendekatan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan keperawatan. Namun, kesiapan perawat dalam menerapkan EBP masih dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan, sikap, dan budaya organisasi. Studi pendahuluan menunjukkan sebagian besar perawat belum memahami konsep EBP serta jarang membaca literatur ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan budaya dengan kesiapan penerapan EBP pada perawat Rumah Sakit Islam Sultan Agung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 79 perawat dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen berupa kuesioner pengetahuan, sikap, budaya, dan kesiapan EBP. Data diuji menggunakan korelasi Spearman.Perawat memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tinggi (57%), sikap mendukung (72,2%), dan budaya kerja baik (64,6%). Kesiapan mayoritas perawat berada pada kategori cukup siap (63,3%). Analisis menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan kesiapan (r = 0,440; p = 0,000), sikap dengan kesiapan (r = 0,304; p = 0,007), serta budaya dengan kesiapan (r = 0,397; p = 0,000). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan budaya dengan kesiapan perawat dalam penerapan EBP. Diperlukan dukungan organisasi dan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk memperkuat implementasi EBP.

Abstract

Background: Effective communication is an essential element in patient-centered healthcare, as it functions to build trust, reduce anxiety, and improve patient adherence to the treatment plan. However, communication gaps between healthcare providers and patients are still found, which can negatively impact treatment success and patient satisfaction. A preliminary study at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang showed that 80% of respondents stated they were satisfied with the communication and quality of services provided, making this research important to deeply examine the relationship between the two variables. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between effective communication and the quality of services perceived by hospitalized patients at Rumah Sakit Islam Sultan Agung Semarang. Method: This research used an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach and a quantitative research type. The independent variable studied was effective communication and the dependent variable was service quality. The total number of respondents in this study was 118 people. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the Spearman’s rho correlation test to examine the relationship between variables. Results: The results of the bivariate analysis using the Spearman’s rho test indicated a significant relationship between effective communication and service quality. A correlation coefficient (ρ) value of 0.515 was obtained with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05).
