Abstract

Nahwu Wadhih is one of the most widely used Arabic grammar books among beginner Arabic language learners. Therefore, it is essential to deeply understand and study the book's background, objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This study aims to describe the author's biography, history, and overview of the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz by 'Ali Al-Jarim and Musthafa Amin and identify it in terms of the book's objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research with the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz as the primary data and several books and scientific journals as secondary data. The data collection technique was carried out using the documentation method, which was then analyzed using the 3 steps of the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model: data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing. The result of this study is that the book of Nahwu Wadhih First Juz is a book for elementary school, which is the work of 2 experts in Egypt, namely Dr. 'Ali Al-Jarim and Dr. Musthafa Amin. This book contains basic rules in Arabic that aim to help beginners learn the rules of Arabic properly and correctly. This book has several advantages but is also inseparable from its shortcomings. Further research could be conducted to study the effectiveness of using this book in the Arabic language learning process in different educational institutions.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini berangkat dari kebutuhan untuk meninjau kembali konsep “ulama” dalam cahaya Al-Qur’an guna menjawab tantangan intelektual dan sosial kontemporer. Penentuan karakteristik ulama dan pemahaman terhadap peran mereka sebagaimana digambarkan dalam Al-Qur’an berkontribusi dalam membangun kesadaran ilmiah dan spiritual yang seimbang di tengah masyarakat Islam. Di antara ayat yang menonjol dalam mendukung konsep ini adalah firman Allah Ta‘ala: “Sesungguhnya yang takut kepada Allah di antara hamba-hamba-Nya hanyalah para ulama” (QS. Fāṭir [35]: 28), yang menegaskan hubungan esensial antara ilmu dan rasa takut kepada Allah serta menjadikannya tolok ukur utama dalam mendefinisikan ulama. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami karakteristik ulama dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an, mengidentifikasi padanan makna kata “ulama”, serta menganalisis metode penafsiran yang digunakan oleh Ibnu Katsir dan Quraish Shihab. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Tafsir Ibnu Katsir menerapkan metode riwayah dan salaf, dengan tahapan sistematis: mengaitkan ayat-ayat terkait, mengutip hadis, serta menggunakan pendapat sahabat dan tabi‘in sebelum melakukan tarjih berdasarkan kekuatan sanad dan konsistensi makna.  Adapun Tafsir Al-Mishbah menggunakan pendekatan analisis kontekstual melalui kajian linguistik, sebab turunnya ayat, konteks sosial-historis, dan relevansi makna kemanusiaan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya dinamika penafsiran terhadap konsep ulama dalam Islam serta relevansinya menghadapi tantangan zaman modern, sekaligus mendorong pemahaman yang kritis dan komprehensif terhadap teks-teks suci Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

The best speaker program and interest in learning have a significant influence on improving Arabic speaking ability. This study analyzes the effect of the best speaker program and interest in learning Arabic on students' speaking ability at the Naatiq course institution. This research is Quantitative research with a type of research in the form of correlational research, namely to measure the relationship between the implementation of the best speaker program (X1) and interest in learning (X2) on students' Arabic speaking ability (Y). Data collection techniques used in this study are questionnaires and speaking ability tests. The data collected is then analyzed using the Pearson validity test, reliability test, and multiple linear regression analysis through the SPSS version 25 statistical program to determine the significance level of each variable's relationship. The results showed that (1) The best speaker program has a positive and significant influence on students' Arabic speaking skills at the Naatiq course institution, (2) Interest in learning Arabic has a positive and significant effect on students' Arabic speaking ability at Naatiq course institution, (3) Simultaneously, the best speaker program and interest in learning Arabic have a positive and significant influence on students' Arabic speaking ability at the Naatiq course institution. This study implies that the implementation of the best speaker program and increased interest in learning can simultaneously significantly improve students' Arabic speaking ability.

Abstract

The dominance of conventional instructional methods in language education often results in rigid, less engaging learning environments. As a response, fun learning strategies have emerged as innovative approaches to enhance student enthusiasm and active participation. This study explores the implementation of fun learning strategies in teaching Maharah Kalam (speaking skills) at Markaz Arabiyah Pare. Employing a descriptive qualitative method within a case study framework, the research was conducted using the researcher as the primary instrument, supported by an interview guide. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that the fun learning strategy in Maharah Kalam instruction is implemented through four core activity types involving nine specific methods: (1) Daily activities, incorporating sualan (questioning) and games; (2) Thematic speaking practice, including drama, demonstration, promotion, and debate; (3) Daily evaluations such as Ashfudzihni; and (4) Monthly events like MC practice and taqdimul qishshoh (storytelling presentations). These strategies significantly contribute to Arabic language acquisition by increasing learner motivation, building self-confidence in speaking, and promoting active classroom participation. The study underscores the value of integrating creative, interactive methods into language instruction to support learner-centered education and communicative competence in Arabic.

Abstract

This research is a linguistic research that aims to explain the forms of Fi'il Amr contained in surah Al-Kahf and explain the meaning of fi'il Amr contained in surah Al-Kahf on the review of Morphology or Shorof and Semantics or Ma'ani science. The research design used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected using data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation techniques. The data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, namely analysis through three streams of activities namely reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) There are nine forms of fi'il Amr in surah Al-Kahf found in 21 verses, namely the form اُفْعُلْ, اُفْعُلُوْا, اِفْعِلْ, اِفْعِلُوْا, اِفْعَلُوْا, أَفْعِلْ, أَفْعِلُوْا, فَعِّلْ and فَاعِلُوْا. The most common form of fi'il Amr found in surah Al-Kahf is اُفْعُلْ with 10 data, while the least form of fi'il Amr is اِفْعَلُوْا, أَفْعِلُوْا, فَعِّلْ and فَاعِلُوْا with one data in each form. (2) There are five meanings of fi'il Amr found in surah Al-Kahf, namely: Haqiqi meaning (original meaning), Al-Irsyad (Directing), Ad-Du'a (Request), Ta'jiz (Weakening), and Iltimas (Ordering to the peer). The most meaning of fi'il Amr in surah Al-Kahf is Haqiqi meaning 15 data, while the least meaning is Ta'jiz meaning one data.
