Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the Arabic curriculum with the perspective of George A. Beauchamp's theory. This research was conducted at SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan. The research design used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The data are obtained by observation techniques, interviews and document studies. The primary data for this study is the Arabic curriculum used at SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan. The result of this study is the application of the 2013 curriculum, especially in Arabic language learning at SMP Plus Nurul Hikmah Pamekasan, it can be said that there is a compatibility with the Beaucampp curriculum model, these things can be clearly described as follows: establishing or determining an arena (scope) of the region, establishing Personnel, organizing and curriculum development procedures, implementing curriculum, organizing curriculum evaluation.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the steps of defining quality in the teaching of Arabic language. This research used qualitative approach by case study design to analyze the steps of defining quality in the teaching of Arabic language. To collect the data used observation, interview and documents. And to analyze the data used Milles and Hubberman analysis. The results of this research mean: (1) the steps of defining quality in the teaching of Arabic language in Madrasa Tsanawiya are: Planning step: setting goals, the rule for the teacher and supervisor, the process of teaching Arabic in the classroom, evaluation, language activities and language environment . Implementation step: The teaching process took place in the Arabic language by accomplishing the educational goals and teaching materials by teaching methods and media, and doing the evaluatio.. Evaluation step: doing the internal evaluation is the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual evaluation. Improvement step: by increase language activities.

Abstract

Writing skills are one of the most important skills in Arabic, in fact this skill is the last achievement that every student must achieve in learning Arabic. Therefore, a book learning media is needed that can support these achievements to be in accordance with the established planning. For this reason, this study aims to analyze the learning content of the Ministry of Religion's Arabic textbook writing skills in 2020 to measure the level of conformity of this skill learning content with the standards for compiling Arabic textbooks. This study uses a descriptive-analytical method using a qualitative approach to find the level of conformity of the book with the standards for compiling Arabic textbooks. The results that have been achieved in this study are that of the seven points of writing skills content preparation standards set by Abdurrahman Fauzan, there are three corresponding points and the other 3 pounds are still not owned by the content of the book, while one point still needs to be developed again.

Abstract

This study aims to fill the gap in the analysis of the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum (K13) for Arabic language at MTs Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu and to identify the challenges faced in its execution. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used to allow for an in-depth understanding of the implementation process, the obstacles encountered, the supporting factors, as well as the results and recommendations for improvement. The research was conducted in 2023-2024, with the research subjects including Arabic language teachers and other related parties at the school. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and document collection, such as syllabi and lesson plans (RPP). Data analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, which consists of three stages: data collection, data condensation, and verification/conclusion drawing. The research findings reveal that MTs Swasta Al-Hikmah Mogutat Kotamobagu chose to retain the 2013 Curriculum (K13) despite the introduction of the Merdeka Curriculum, citing reasons such as resource readiness, educator competence, and student preparedness. The implementation of Arabic language teaching at MTs Al-Hikmah involves various teaching methods, such as the Toriqoh Al-Samiyah Al-Syafawiyah, Jigsaw Method, and interactive methods like singing and games. This approach reflects the teachers' efforts to adapt teaching methods to the students' needs and the curriculum in place. However, the study also found several challenges in curriculum implementation, including limitations in facilities, student abilities, and challenges in applying innovative teaching methods.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to elucidate the humanistic curriculum development model and its utilization in crafting Arabic teaching resources. The research methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, adopting a case research approach at Private MTs of Yapena Lhokseumawe. The research encompasses several aspects: 1) understanding the concept of humanistic curriculum development, 2) implementing humanistic curriculum in Arabic teaching resources, 3) executing activities at Private MTs of Yapena, and 4) gathering insights through interviews and observations at Private MTs of Yapena Lhokseumawe. Data collection was conducted through observations and interviews with both teachers and students of Private MTs of Yapena. The collected data underwent analysis to condense and articulate outcomes derived from the fieldwork. The research revealed that the application of the humanistic curriculum development model in crafting Arabic teaching resources yielded favorable outcomes, enhancing both cognitive and non-cognitive abilities among students. By centering learning around students and providing them with opportunities to foster their innate potential and enhance creativity, the humanistic curriculum development model elicited a notable surge in student engagement, with a 60% increase in learning competencies observed post-research.   Keywords: humanistic, curriculum development, Arabic language

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital di era Society 5.0 menuntut adanya transformasi metode penilaian bahasa Arab yang selama ini masih didominasi oleh tes tertulis konvensional. Penelitian ini membahas tentang kebutuhan mendesak akan alat evaluasi interaktif yang modern untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan membaca siswa di tingkat Madrasah Aliyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa elektronik (e-worksheet) menggunakan aplikasi Formatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan, dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terbatas pada tahap pengembangan. Analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan skor sedang sebesar 75,25%, yang menunjukkan perlunya inovasi. Produk ini divalidasi oleh ahli materi (92%) dan ahli media (88%), keduanya dikategorikan "sangat baik." Revisi teknis kecil dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemudahan penggunaan. Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa e-worksheet meningkatkan aksesibilitas, keterlibatan siswa, dan efektivitas dalam penilaian formatif. Dibandingkan dengan praktik sebelumnya, pendekatan digital ini menawarkan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Disimpulkan bahwa e-worksheet layak dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam evaluasi bahasa Arab, dengan potensi untuk aplikasi yang lebih luas dalam keterampilan bahasa lainnya.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of integrating the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with mind mapping techniques in improving students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary at MTsN Batu. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the research involved two distinct groups: an experimental class and a control class. Vocabulary assessments were conducted both prior to and following the intervention. The findings revealed that students exposed to the PjBL and mind mapping approach showed a notable increase in performance, with their average vocabulary scores rising from 50.17 (pre-test) to 81.67 (post-test). An independent samples t-test produced a p-value of 0.001, confirming a statistically significant difference between the two groups. The results indicate that the use of project-based tasks supported by visual tools like mind maps effectively enhances vocabulary acquisition. Additionally, the strategy promotes greater learner engagement, autonomy, and creativity, offering a promising alternative to traditional lecture-based instruction.

Abstract

ملخص البحث: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تطوير الكتاب المصاحب وصلاحية استخدام كتاب المصاحب "متن الآجرومية" على أساس نظرية التعلم الاستقبالي لدافيد أوسوبيل في معهد المخلصين أرينج-أرينج باتو مالانج. هذه الدراسة، استخدام منهجية البحث والتطوير (R&D) استنادًا إلى نموذج ADDIE وهي: تحليل الاحتياجات، التصميم، التطوير، التنفيذ، التقييم. وأما أدوات البحث المستخدمة فهي الملاحظة، الاستبيان، المقابلة، والاختبار. نتائج هذه الدراسة هي: تطوير الكتاب المصاحب "متن الآجرومية" على أساس نظرية التعلم الاستقبالي لدافيد أوسوبيل في معهد المخلصين. يتألف من خمس مراحل، وهي: (1). تحليل الاحتياجات: تقديم شرح منظم، أمثلة، وتدريبات بهدف تعزيز فهم الطلاب. التصميم: يهدف إلى توفير راحة للقارئ. التطوير: إعداد المواد بطريقة منظمة. التنفيذ: يطبق على 15 طالبًا. التقويم: يشمل التحقق من قبل خبراء المادة والتصميم لضمان جودة وفعالية الكتاب المصاحب المطور. (2). نتائج تحقق الصلاحية من قبل خبيرين: تقييم خبير المادة بنسبة 85%. وتقييم خبير التصميم بنسبة 82.5%. استخدام الكتاب المصاحب "متن الآجرومية" المستند إلى التعلم الاستقبالي لدافيد أوسوبيل كان فعالًا. الكلمات الرئيسية: الكتاب المصاحب، متن الآجرومية، التعلم الاستقبالي. Abstracts: The objectives of this study are: process of developing companion book and Validation of the companion book “matan al jurumiyah” based reception learning David Ausubel at Pondok Pesantren al mukhlisin areng-areng Batu Malang. In this study using the research and development (R&D) research method based on the ADDIE model: needs analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The research instruments used are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The results of this study are: (1) The development of the companion book “matan al jurumiyah” based reception learning David Ausubel consists of 5 stages: Needs analysis, providing structured explanations, examples, exercises, to improve students' understanding. Design, to provide comfort for readers. Development, the material is done by structuring the material in a structured manner. Implementation, used on 15 students. Evaluation, validation by material and design. (2) The results of validation from two experts: 85% material experts with excellent and feasible categories. The results of design validation are 82.5% with excellent and feasible categories. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pengembang buku pendamping “matan al jurumiyah” berbasis pembelajaran penerimaan David Ausubel terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu: Analisis kebutuhan, menyediakan penjelasan terstruktur, contoh, latihan, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman santri. Desain, untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi pembaca. Pengembangan, materi dilakukan dengan menyusun materi secara terstruktur. Implementasi, digunakan pada 15 santri. Evaluasi, validasi oleh ahli materi dan desain guna memastikan kualitas dan efektivitas buku pendamping yang dikembangkan. (2) hasil validasi dari dua ahli: ahli materi 85% dengan kategori baik sekali dan layak. hasil validasi desain 82,5% dengan kategori baik sekali dan layak. Abstract

The dominance of conventional instructional methods in language education often results in rigid, less engaging learning environments. As a response, fun learning strategies have emerged as innovative approaches to enhance student enthusiasm and active participation. This study explores the implementation of fun learning strategies in teaching Maharah Kalam (speaking skills) at Markaz Arabiyah Pare. Employing a descriptive qualitative method within a case study framework, the research was conducted using the researcher as the primary instrument, supported by an interview guide. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that the fun learning strategy in Maharah Kalam instruction is implemented through four core activity types involving nine specific methods: (1) Daily activities, incorporating sualan (questioning) and games; (2) Thematic speaking practice, including drama, demonstration, promotion, and debate; (3) Daily evaluations such as Ashfudzihni; and (4) Monthly events like MC practice and taqdimul qishshoh (storytelling presentations). These strategies significantly contribute to Arabic language acquisition by increasing learner motivation, building self-confidence in speaking, and promoting active classroom participation. The study underscores the value of integrating creative, interactive methods into language instruction to support learner-centered education and communicative competence in Arabic.
