Abstract

The Cash on Delivery (COD) transaction system has become increasingly common in the sale and purchase of goods, including used motor vehicles. Although practical, this system poses legal risks, especially when the item received is damaged or does not match the promised condition. This article examines disputes in used motorcycle sales after COD transactions, and explores the possibility of resolving them through arbitration as a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). This study employs a normative juridical method, analyzing relevant legislation and legal literature. The findings show that arbitration is difficult to apply in informal transactions due to the absence of a written agreement. However, a voluntary arbitration mechanism can be pursued if both parties agree after the dispute arises. This article also highlights the importance of legal protection for consumers and the need for legal literacy in informal, trust-based transactions. Abstrak Sistem transaksi Cash on Delivery (COD) semakin umum digunakan dalam jual beli barang, termasuk kendaraan bermotor bekas. Meskipun praktis, sistem ini memiliki risiko hukum, terutama jika barang yang diterima ternyata rusak dan tidak sesuai dengan yang dijanjikan. Artikel ini membahas sengketa jual beli motor rusak pasca transaksi COD, serta mengkaji kemungkinan penyelesaiannya melalui arbitrase sebagai bentuk Alternatif Penyelesaian Sengketa (ADR). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan analisis terhadap peraturan perundang-undangan dan literatur hukum. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa arbitrase sulit diterapkan dalam transaksi informal karena tidak adanya perjanjian tertulis. Namun, mekanisme arbitrase sukarela (voluntary arbitration) dapat dilakukan apabila kedua belah pihak menyepakatinya pasca sengketa. Artikel ini juga menyoroti pentingnya perlindungan hukum bagi konsumen serta perlunya edukasi hukum dalam transaksi informal berbasis kepercayaan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the improvement of learning outcomes among Grade XI.C students of SMAN 1 Kupang through the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach using differentiated learning. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research sample consisted of 28 students from class XI.C. The findings indicated a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes through the application of the Teaching at the Right Level approach. This was evidenced by the substantial increase in achievement across each cycle: during the pre-cycle, 17.71% of students achieved mastery, which rose to 42.85% in Cycle I, and further increased to 85.71% in Cycle II. Therefore, the Teaching at the Right Level approach through differentiated learning was proven effective in improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Social media has undergone a significant transformation into a new public space that facilitates social, cultural, and religious interactions in modern society. On the one hand, social media opens up significant opportunities for the dissemination of religious values, preaching, and constructive interfaith dialogue. However, on the other hand, low levels of digital literacy among the public make this digital space vulnerable to being exploited as a means of spreading hoaxes, hate speech, and religiously motivated provocation. This phenomenon has the potential to worsen interfaith relations and trigger social conflict that spills over from cyberspace into real life. Based on these conditions, this study aims to analyze the role of digital literacy in preventing religious conflict on social media. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research, through content analysis of various written sources, such as books, national scientific journals, and official documents relevant to the issue of digital literacy and interfaith harmony. This approach was chosen to gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts, strategies, and implications of digital literacy in a socio-religious context. The research findings show that digital literacy plays a crucial role in shaping critical, ethical, and tolerant public behavior in responding to religious information on social media. Digital literacy is not only understood as technical skills in using information technology, but also encompasses critical thinking skills, ethical awareness, and social responsibility in interacting in the digital space. Thus, digital literacy serves as an effective preventive tool in countering disinformation, mitigating potential conflict, and maintaining and strengthening interfaith harmony in the digital era. Abstrak Media sosial telah mengalami transformasi signifikan menjadi ruang publik baru yang memfasilitasi interaksi sosial, kultural, dan keagamaan masyarakat modern. Di satu sisi, media sosial membuka peluang besar bagi penyebaran nilai-nilai keagamaan, dakwah, serta dialog lintas iman yang konstruktif. Namun, di sisi lain, rendahnya tingkat literasi digital di kalangan masyarakat menyebabkan ruang digital ini rentan dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana penyebaran hoaks, ujaran kebencian, dan provokasi bernuansa keagamaan. Fenomena tersebut berpotensi memperkeruh hubungan antarumat beragama dan memicu konflik sosial yang meluas dari dunia maya ke kehidupan nyata. Bertolak dari kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran literasi digital dalam mencegah konflik keagamaan di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), melalui analisis isi terhadap berbagai sumber tertulis, seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah nasional, serta dokumen resmi yang relevan dengan isu literasi digital dan kerukunan umat beragama. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk memperoleh pemahaman komprehensif mengenai konsep, strategi, dan implikasi literasi digital dalam konteks sosial-keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk perilaku masyarakat yang kritis, etis, dan toleran dalam menyikapi informasi keagamaan di media sosial. Literasi digital tidak hanya dipahami sebagai keterampilan teknis dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi, tetapi juga mencakup kemampuan berpikir kritis, kesadaran etika, serta tanggung jawab sosial dalam berinteraksi di ruang digital. Dengan demikian, literasi digital berfungsi sebagai instrumen preventif yang efektif dalam menangkal disinformasi, meredam potensi konflik, serta menjaga dan memperkuat kerukunan umat beragama di era digital.
