Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought significant changes to the world of education, especially in the implementation of distance learning (PJJ). ICT-based PJJ allows the teaching and learning series to take place without space and time limitations, and provides easy access to digital learning resources. This article discusses the concepts, benefits, challenges, and strategies for implementing ICT-based PJJ, as well as the importance of infrastructure readiness, digital competence of educators and students, and adequate policy support. With the right approach, ICT-based PJJ can be an effective solution for equitable access to education and improving the quality of learning in the digital era.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has brought a major transformation in the world of education. Educational technology not only plays a role as a tool, but has also become a catalyst in improving the quality of learning. This article aims to examine the definition of educational technology, its form of utilization, its strategic role in improving the quality of learning, and the challenges of its implementation in schools. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the discussion showed that educational technology is able to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and attractiveness of learning, as well as encourage student participation and shape 21st century skills. However, the implementation of educational technology still faces obstacles such as limited infrastructure, teacher competence, and digital literacy of students. Therefore, it takes the collaboration of all parties to maximize its potential.

Abstract

The digital era has brought major changes in various aspects of life, especially in the field of information and communication. Digital literacy is crucial to equip individuals with the ability to filter, understand, and use information wisely. This paper discusses the importance of information and communication literacy in supporting the effective use of digital technology, fostering creativity, building productive communication, and playing an active role in global society. Through a literature study approach, this article describes the use of digital technology in education, communication, and the formation of ethical digital citizenship.

Abstract

The development of communication technology has undergone a revolutionary leap, transforming human interaction and shapingsocial structures in the digital era. This article aims to examinethe basic concepts, historical evolution, and main theories in thestudy of communication technology. Using a qualitative approachbased on literature study, the discussion includes digital integration, media convergence, and issues such as socialpresence and media dependency. This article highlights thatcommunication technology is not merely a technical tool but alsoshapes new social realities. The analysis indicates that theoreticalunderstanding of communication technology development isessential for formulating policies, educational strategies, andsustainable digital literacy programs.
