Abstract

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, especially those with hemodialysis, frequently struggle with mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Psychotherapy has been known to treat psychological problems, but its effectiveness in managing CKD patients is still rarely scientifically proven. The aim of this study was to analyze the role of psychological treatments in improving the mental health of CKD patients with hemodialysis. We comprehensively reviewed the related studies published in PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Clinical Key over the last ten years, up to June 7, 2023. A keyword combination was used in the search engine strategies, and all articles about CKD patients receiving hemodialysis and psychotherapy were included. Based on the eligibility criteria, 716 patients were included in 13 out of 18,830 studies in the final analysis. Psychological problem was complained by 399 CKD patients. The psychotherapy included cognitive behavioral therapy (reported in four studies, n=4), diaphragmatic breathing relaxation (n=1), meditation (n=1), hypnotherapy (n=1), Kidney Optimal Health Program (KOHP) (n=1), psychological intervention (n=1), murottal Al-Qur'an therapy (n=3), and spiritual therapy (n=1). These interventions were performed once to four times a week, for ten minutes to five hours during hemodialysis for two to ten weeks. Meditation and KOHP showed no significant improvement in anxiety and depression. The remaining psychotherapies significantly improved the quality of life by reducing anxiety and depression in hemodialysis patients and enhancing sleep quality, self-esteem, hopefulness, medication adherence, and physical condition. In conclusion, psychotherapy should be considered in an interdisciplinary team to treat CKD patients comprehensively. Further studies are still necessary to determine the efficacy of each psychological intervention in CKD patients with psychiatric problems.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the results of the analysis regarding lecturer competence in practical learning at universities in the health sector. Lecturer competence is the variable studied with indicators including pedagogical competence, personality competence, social and professional competence. The method used in this research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The data collection technique uses primary data from a sample of 50 students with a sampling technique using cluster sampling. Data collection uses instruments that have passed the validity and reliability process. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this research indicate that overall, the average lecturer competency of all indicators is categorized as adequate with a score of 2.94 and an achievement level of 73.60. Only one of the four lecturer competency indicators, namely personality competency, received good criteria, while the other three received sufficient categories.

Abstract

Leaders who effectively apply a leadership style can realize their goals by providing motivation. The purpose of this research is to find out and obtain information about the leadership style of school principals and teacher work motivation at SMKN 6 Padang. This research is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The research population is 100 teachers at SMKN 6 Padang, while the sample in this study was 50 teachers taken using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling calculated using the Slovin formula. The instrument used was a Likert Scale model questionnaire with five alternative answers whose results were valid and reliable. Analysis in this research uses the SPSS 24.0 program to process and analyze normality, linearity and significance tests of the relationship between the two variables. The results of this research indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between leadership style and teacher work motivation, which means that the principal's leadership style has a positive and significant relationship with teacher work motivation. The implication of the results of this research is to increase work motivation through the principal's leadership style, namely increasing the task-oriented leadership style of the principal. In addition, the results of this study show that the interpretation of the principal's leadership style towards subordinates is greater than the interpretation of the principal's task-oriented leadership style.

Abstract

This article presents various literature related to flying fish from 1930 to the present, which are shown in the form of aspects of biology, distribution, fisheries, and utilization of Current Technology in Flying Fish Research. This study was conducted through a systematic search and review of various articles, books, dissertations, and theses that discuss flying fish. Literature studies related to flying fish are important to provide more complete information required to maintain the sustainability of their resources. This study shows the classification, type, spawning process, body shape, ability to glide in the waters, distribution, fishing technology, and current technology in various researches. Abstract

Penyalahgunaan stempel ketenagakerjaan merugikan banyak pihak, salah satunya pekerja itu sendiri, karena munculnya penurunan minat masyarakat untuk bekerja dari masa kontrak hingga dapat diangkat menjadi pegawai tetap, kurangnya pengawasan dalam sistem pelayanan ketenagakerjaan, banyak perusahaan swasta maupun perusahaan BUMN mencari celah untuk merugikan pekerja, Padahal sudah bertahun-tahun bekerja dan belum diangkat menjadi karyawan tetap, apalagi dengan UU No 11 Tahun 2020 yang dinilai cacat formil. . Berdasarkan Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi No 91/PUU-XVIII/2020, dimana seorang pekerja di salah satu perusahaan yang saya teliti mengalami ketidakadilan dalam sistem ketenagakerjaan, salah satunya adalah perubahan status dari pegawai kontrak menjadi pekerja magang. karyawan dengan gaji lebih rendah dan tidak menerima asuransi. pada tahun kelima kontrak berdasarkan yurisprudensi putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi 7/PUU-XII/2014, Majelis Hakim menyatakan bahwa jika perusahaan melaksanakan kontrak berulang kali dalam jangka waktu yang lama, maka pekerja kontrak menurut hukum menjadi pekerja tetap dan menurut undang-undang no 11 tahun 2020 dimana pegawai kontrak diatur secara rinci dalam PP no 35 tahun 2021 tentang PKWT, bagaimana jika dalam pasal 8 PP no 35 tahun 2021, pekerja kontrak bisa langsung diizinkan 10 tahun, bagaimana jika setelah 10 tahun mereka masih bekerja di perusahaan tersebut, maka ada kewajiban bagi perusahaan untuk secara sah mengubah karyawan kontrak menjadi karyawan tetap. Penulisan skripsi ini berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis menggunakan hasil penelitian yuridis normatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan masalah berdasarkan hasil wawancara lapangan, metode analisis yuridis normatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research). penelitian kepustakaan) dan penelitian lapangan (filed research).

Abstract

This study is aimed to investigate the implementation of green campus-based curriculum model at Islamic universities in Indonesia. In depth interview was conducted to the top leader of universities in order to confirm the application of green campus-based curriculum especially on vision and mission. A set of interviews was also questioned to lecturers to obtain important information regarding with the employment of the model of curriculum related to environmental health they used in classrooms. In addition, supporting data about students from lecturers’ information was also occupied to enrich the data. As a result, the researcher found that all Islamic universities observed in this study imply green campus or environmental aspect points in university’s vision and mission. Less than 100% of lecturers are able to design learning materials related to environmental health as well as implementing it in classrooms. Less than 60% of students can produce environmental work arts as well as having problem solving skills toward surrounding environment. Above all, hose Islamic universities determine similar goals on green campus-based curriculum model i.e. to preserve the environment and aware of surrounding natural issues. At the end, a few suggestions were suggested to the top manager of the Islamic universities concerning with vital element regarding with lecturers’ competencies in developing environmental health learning design that should be noticed and increased.

Abstract

Bermain peran (role playing) merupakan aktivitas yang penting di Taman Kanak-kanak untuk pengenalan literasi numerasi. Bermain peran (role playing) memperkaya kosa kata anak melalui komunikasi, tindakan dan gerak-gerik, dengan menggunakan alat peraga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Taman Kanak-kanak Twin Course Pasaman Barat pada kelas B2 dab B3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan role playing dan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode ceramah.  Jumlah anak kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen yaitu 12  orang anak pada masing-masing kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Role Playing terhadap pengenalan literasi numerasi anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dalam bentuk quasy eksperiment dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan tes pengetahuan dan perbuatan.  Kemudian data diolah dengan uji perbedaan (t-test). Berdasarkan perhitungan uji t (t-test) diperoleh thitung sebesar 2,667 dan ttabel sebesar 2,074 pada taraf nyata α = 0,05 dan dk = 22. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa role playing berpengaruh dalam pengenalan literasi numerasi pada anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Twin Course Pasaman Barat

Abstract

Marine data prediction plays a vital role in supporting decision-making in the field of marine environment and resources. However, the complexity of marine data, which is nonlinear and dynamic, is a significant challenge in producing accurate predictions. This study aims to explore the role of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models in computer systems to predict marine data, focusing on Pearson Correlation analysis. The methods applied include collecting historical marine data, implementing LSTM models for prediction, and evaluating performance using metrics such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE). In addition, Pearson Correlation analysis is used to understand the relationship between variables in marine data. The results show that the LSTM model is able to produce predictions with a low error rate with a composition of training data and testing data of 80:20, resulting in Sea Surface Temperature (SST) = 0.0053, Sea Surface Salinity (SSS) = 0.0026, sea Surface Height (SSH) = 0.0061 and CHL-a = 0.0002 and shows a significant relationship between variables through Multivariate correlation analysis. This research contributes to the development of marine data-based prediction systems and provides implications for the world of marine resource research and management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan dan bagaimana hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran model RME, dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan disekolah MTs Swasta YAPI SiPare Pare pada bulan Maret sampai April 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quisi Eksperimen, pengambilan sampel dilakukan degan cara total sampling. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika.Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan rata-rata dari hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan rata-rata 83,9. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Konvensional adalah 50,9. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education; Konvensional; Eksperime; Kontrol; Hasil Belajar Matematika; Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there are differences and how students' mathematics learning outcomes using the RME model are compared to students using conventional learning. This research was carried out at the YAPI Private MTs School SiPare Pare from March to April 2021. This research is a Quisi Experiment research, the sampling is done by total sampling. This study aims to determine the effect of student learning outcomes who are taught using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Learning Model on Mathematics Learning Outcomes. Based on research conducted in class VIII of YAPI Private MTs Sipare Pare showed a significant influence from the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model on student learning outcomes in Mathematics. This can be seen based on the average of student learning outcomes using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model with an average of 83.9. While the average student learning outcomes using the conventional learning model is 50.9. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui: Perbedaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture dan Model Pembelajaran Cycle Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Lingkaran Di SMA Negeri 1 Panai Hulu Kab. Labuhan Batu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasinya seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Panai Hulu. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen I yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Picture and Picture. Dan Kelas XI IPA2 Sebagai kelas eksperimen II yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Cycle Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 butir tes soal kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan teknik analisis varians dilanjutkan dengan Uji Tukey. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat perbedaakemampuan berpikir kritis yang diajar menggunakan model picture and picture dan cycle learning. Kata Kunci : Kooperatif Tipe Picture and picture, Cycle Learning, Berpikir Kritis. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: The difference between the Picture and Picture Type Cooperative Learning Model and the Cycle Learning Model on teh Studets’ Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability in the Circle Subject at SMA Negeri 1 Panai Hulu Kab. Labuhan Batu. The researcch is an experimental study with the population of all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Panai Hulu. The sample of this study was class XI IPA1 as the experimental class I which was taught using the Picture and Picture Cooperative learning model. And class XI IPA2 as an experimental class II taught using the Cycle Learning learning model. This This study uses 5 test items about student’s mathematical critical thinking skills. Then analyzed descriptively using analysis of variance technique followed by Tukey’s test. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) There were differences in critical thinking abilities taught using picture and picture models and cycle learning.
