Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the tolerance character indicators through the application of two learning modules. This type of research is quantitative research, this study involves two variables, namely learning teaching materials in class with a sample size of 32 students. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics. The character of students' social care can be seen in the application of the electronic module and the print module. The result, from the two teaching materials, the tolerance character of the fifth grade students of SD 45 / I Sridadi was dominant in the good category when implementing the electronic module, while the tolerance character of the students with the application of the printed module was dominant in the sufficient category.

Abstract

There are still many students who get scores below the average. It is because students have difficulty in learning. This study examines the effect of problem-based learning models with scaffolding techniques, the effect of independent learning on student learning outcomes, and the level of differences in learning outcomes between students who apply problem-based learning models and problem-based learning models with scaffolding techniques rather than conventional learning models. This study uses a quantitative research type with a quasi-experimental design with a 3 x 3 factorial design, using a Nonequevalent control group design (pretest-posttest). The sample in this study amounted to 77 students. The study was conducted using quantitative data obtained from questionnaires and surveys. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The techniques used to analyze the data are qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative, and inferential statistics. The study results are significant differences between the Problem Based Learning learning model with the Scaffolding technique with the conventional learning model of student independence in learning, and student learning outcomes are dominant in the application of problem-based learning. It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the Scaffolding technique obtains the best learning outcomes when compared to other learning models.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze how the response and effectiveness of learning media using 'Kahoot!' technology in motivating students' learning in elementary schools. This study uses a quantitative method with the type of correlation, the data is taken through a questionnaire to thirty respondents from one elementary school with a total sampling technique. All data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using SPSS 20 software. Overall, the results of the analysis show that i) the use of learning media through Kahoot! Getting a very good response from students, ii) the use of Kahoot! also has an impact in motivating students in learning, with the results of a correlation analysis of 0.756. This means that there is a positive relationship between the use of media and students' learning motivation. The results of this study have shown that the use of technology media has proven to be effective and has succeeded in increasing students' responses and learning motivation. In fact, teachers need to improve their competence related to the use of ICT as a medium in learning, so that they are able to integrate ICT into learning materials.

Abstract

Students' learning achievement is caused by two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include students' interests, talents, motivation and concentration, while external factors involve the role of family, friends and the school environment. The researcher has an interest in investigating how Kahoot Media Technology can be integrated in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools. This research aims to evaluate the impact of integrating Kahoot Media in Islamic Religious Education learning. This research uses a mixed approach (mix method). There are several variables that are the focus of the research, namely responses and results, involving 25 students in class VI. The data analysis process was carried out using descriptive statistics. The integration of Kahoot Media was carried out at State Elementary School 146/I Jambi City. In analyzing responses and evaluation results, this research shows that the majority of students gave a "good" assessment of the integration of Kahoot Media in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools

Abstract

In elementary schools, no one has implemented learning using electronic modules based on local wisdom. This study aims to analyze the impact of using electronic modules based on local knowledge on the character of students' tolerance. This research was conducted using quantitative associative analysis, which aims to see the relationship between variables. The sample in this study was 29 students of class V, which was determined using purposive sampling. Data was collected using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Electronic module validation is the validation of several experts, namely linguists, material experts, media experts, and expert practitioners. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical data analysis method and inferential statistics. The result of this research is that the correlation between the two indicators of tolerance character and student response is 0.790. The relationship between the two indicators is strong, with a probability value of 0.000 < 0.005. It was concluded that there was a relationship between the indicators of tolerance character and student responses to the application of electronic modules based on Ngubat Padi's local wisdom. In addition, students' answers to the electronic module get results in a suitable category to form students' tolerance character.

Abstract

Nowadays, the character of tolerance in elementary school students is experiencing degradation. Whereas the character of tolerance is one of the important characters possessed by students in their social life. This study aims to analyze the comparison of responses and tolerance characteristics of students who learn to use two different learning modules, namely the electronic module and the printed module. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study amounted to 243 students. Determination of the sample is done by using the purposive sampling technique, to obtain a sample of 32 students. Data collection in this study used instruments in the form of student response questionnaires and tolerance character questionnaires. The instrument used has been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, assumption tests (normality and homogeneity), and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results showed that students' responses were more dominant when using the electronic module based on local wisdom than the printed module. The tolerance character that appears is also more visible when using an electronic module based on the local wisdom instead of a printed module. Based on these findings, it was concluded that students' responses when using the electronic module were better than using the print module. Students' tolerance character can also be seen in the application of electronic modules and print modules. So it is recommended that the electronic module based on local wisdom be used as additional teaching materials in learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

In learning mathematics, 78.5% of students do not understand the material concepts taught by the teacher on geometry material. It is because the media used by the teacher in learning mathematics is not appropriate. Inappropriate media will make it difficult for students to understand the learning material, so that it has an impact on low student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of using Geoboard online in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the fourth-grade elementary school's Bangun Datar learning. This type of research uses the Mix method, namely data collection using qualitative and quantitative. Sampling using purposive sampling with a total of 28 students. The research design uses Explanatory Sequential Design. This study involves several variables as research categories, namely Student responses and Concept Understanding. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics. The study results are that the variable of response and Concept Understanding has a significant influence, with a value of sig <0.05, and on each dominant variable in the excellent category, so that online geoboard media affects students' understanding of the flat wake concept. Therefore, Geoboard online media can be used as an alternative learning that is fun and suiTablefor children in elementary school. The implication of this research is to use learning media in helping students understand technology-based concepts.
