Abstract

The occurrence of an environmental crisis certainly cannot be separated from how humans relate to the environment. This relationship has continued to develop since the existence of humans on Earth. The reality of an ecological crisis/environmental crisis becomes a context for reflection on human behavior. This research aims to evaluate the relocation of the country's capital from Jakarta to Kalimantan from an environmental ethics perspective. This research method is a literature study that involves understanding and studying theories from various literature. Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the National Capital which discusses the principles of IKN development will use 100% environmentally friendly construction and will also implement resource efficiency and low carbon practices. However, this development also continues to raise various concerns among the community, observers, and related parties from the perspective of environmental damage, social issues, population relocation, infrastructure problems, security and national resilience issues, economic impacts, and resource competition with other regions.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the risk awareness of culinary entrepreneurship students regarding the risks associated with operating a culinary business. In addition, this research also aims to test the feasibility scale of the 'Culinary Risk Register (CRR) 2022.' The CRR is a list of risks containing 13 aspects of risk in the culinary business, derived from four risk categories: Financial, Operational, Strategic, and Hazard. The research employed a quantitative method and the Guttman Scale. The Guttman Scale was used to test the Reproducibility Coefficient and the Stability Coefficient of the CRR. The respondents of this study were sophomore students at Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Asuransi Trisakti enrolled in the Entrepreneurship course during the Odd Semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The results show that the students have a high level of risk awareness regarding the culinary business concept at the basic and intermediate levels. Meanwhile, regarding the complex level, the understanding varies somewhat, and the level of risk awareness is lower than that of the basic and intermediate levels. As a measurement tool (binary questionnaire), CRR 2022 demonstrates a high feasibility scale, with a Reproducibility Coefficient test score of 97% and a Stability Feasibility test score of 94%. This means that CRR is a valid binary questionnaire instrument that can be used to measure the level of risk awareness in the culinary business. The key connection between the findings of this study and the results of the 2022 Culinary Business Risk Survey is that novice entrepreneurs generally lack an understanding of the importance of preparing business contingency capital, unlike experienced entrepreneurs (respondents of the 2022 Survey). This indicates that awareness of the necessity of contingency capital constitutes a complex-level risk, which can only be fully understood after acquiring advanced managerial knowledge and direct field experience.

This study aims to create a Culinary Risk Register (CRR) for prospective culinary entrepreneurs compiled based on the identification of the risks that exist in the culinary business. It is hoped that this CRR can be used as an alternative practical guide for those who want to open a culinary business, in order to mitigate the occurrence of business failures. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with 34 respondents. The indicators of the instruments were set up from the 4 risk categories, while Pareto Principal was use to analyse the data. The results is that there are 13 main risk factors which are necessary to be consider to open culinary business, out of 54 risk factors verified by the respondents. Among the 4 risk categories (financial, strategic, hazard, and operational risk), financial risk is the most prominent risk factor to be consider. There are two point that can be concluded from this research. Firstly, financial risk is the most prominent risk factor that must come into consideration in opening culinary business, among the others 3 risk categories. At the opening or existence stage is a critical phase, an entrepreneur is busy promoting the products, gathering and convincing customers, providing good service quality that will take some times before the entrepreneur can obtain regular customers as well as increase the number of new customers. Abstract

Abstract

This study aimed to examine Generation Z’s level of resilience in facing challenges in the workplace. Generation Z is known to have unique characteristics as digital natives, but they are also susceptible to stress, anxiety, and burnout. Resilience is an important aspect in supporting their productivity and psychological well-being. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean, median, mode, and standard deviation. The results showed that the average resilience score was above 3.5 for all indicators, with the majority of respondents showing a fairly good level of resilience. The mode and median were consistent at a score of 4 (agree), and the low standard deviation indicated a stable distribution of answers. These findings indicated that although Generation Z had good resilience potential, there was still room for strengthening, especially in the aspects of stress management and tolerance to discomfort.
