Abstract

This research was carried out at SDI Naimata, Kupang City with the aim of "To improve learning outcomes in learning Theme 2 Always Save Energy Sub-theme 1 Lesson 1 for fourth grade students at SDN Naimata in determining main ideas and supporting ideas using audio visual media." Data collection techniques are observation techniques and test techniques. Subjects, namely Techniques. Research subjects or respondents are the parties used as samples in a study. The research subject also discusses the characteristics of the subjects used in the research, including an explanation of the population, sample and sampling technique used. Data Analysis is a technique regarding the way the researcher analyzes data, with the research results showing that the data resulting from observing teacher activity in cycle I is of value. 62.5% while in cycle II with a value of 82.69%, while the results of observing student activities in cycle I had an average value of 61.80%, while the results of observing student activities in cycle II had an average value of 81.40%. In the first cycle of learning, there were 25 students from the subject, of which 17 people (68%) then 8 people (32%) did not complete it. Furthermore, in cycle II learning outcomes increased, namely from 25 students, all of them completed (100%). Based on the results of the research above, it is known that learning Indonesian uses audio-visual media. This is proven by the increase in learning outcomes in cycle II, namely 100%, thus the use of audio visual media in theme 2 learning always saves energy in subtheme 1 learning 2 to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDI Naimata, Kupang City.

Abstract

Permasalahan umum yang ditemukan pada guru di SMA Negeri 2 Kupang dalam membentuk karakter dan kedisiplinan siswa, yakni guru kurang memahami karakteristik peserta didik dan belum membudayakan budaya-budaya positif dalam pembentukan kedisiplinan dan karakter siswa, sehingga sekolah mencanangkan program keyakinan kelas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi keyakinan kelas dalam menwujudkan budaya positif: disiplin dan karakter siswa SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 5 orang wali kelas dengan peserta didiknya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dalam pelaksanaan keyakinan kelas, orangtua dilibatkan secara aktif bersama pihak sekolah dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Sekolah menciptakan budaya sekolah sesuai visi, misi dan tujuan pendidikan. Budaya sekolah yang dibentuk melalui keyakinan kelas dibiaskan untuk dilakukan oleh semua komponen di sekolah dengan menjunjung tinggi nilai kedisiplinan. Dengan demikian terciptanya suatu pembiasaan yang dilakukan secara konsisten di sekolah. Penerapan keyakinan kelas oleh setiap wali kelas di SMA Negeri 2 Kupang membuat siswa menjadi lebih disiplin dan menunjukan karakter yang baik, sehingga mewujudkan budaya sekolah yang lebih positif.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes in class IV SDI Namosain by implementing the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model. The method in this research is classroom action research through four stages, namely; planning, implementation, observation and testing, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 22 class IV students. This research is located at SDI Namosain, Kupang City. The research results showed that in cycle I as many as 13 students completed with a completion percentage of 59.09%. Meanwhile, 9 students did not complete with a completion percentage of 40.91%. Student observation results were 63.14 and teacher observation results were 72.7. In cycle II, 20 students completed with a completion percentage of 90.91% and there were only 2 students who did not complete with a percentage of 9.09%. Student observation results were 78.90, and teacher observation results were 95.4. In this way, these 2 people will be given enrichment or additional learning by the teacher. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that using the jigsaw-type cooperative model can improve learning outcomes for class IV students at SDI Namosain, Kupang City

Abstract

The learning process that does not focus on student needs causes low learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the problems in the field, namely the learning outcomes of grade IV students of UPTD SD Inpres Perumnas 2 during the Mid-Semester Summative; only 13 students have completed it out of 30 other students. Thus, this study aims to improve student's learning outcomes by applying the Problem-Based Learning model. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method, with data collection techniques through observation and tests. This study consists of two consecutive cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The results of the cycle I showed that 13 students (43.33%) had achieved the criteria for achieving learning objectives or had been declared complete because students always listened to the teacher's explanation and could work on evaluation questions correctly. While the other 17 students (56.67%) had not been declared complete because students were not focused on learning, even students had not done the evaluation questions properly. Student learning outcomes in cycle II showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, with 26 students (86.67%) achieving KKTP or declared complete because the students were active, listened to the teacher's explanation, and did the evaluation questions well. The other 4 students (13.33%) did not achieve KKTP because they did not give their opinions during the discussion, disturbed each other, and could not even do the evaluation questions correctly. The completion of student learning outcomes in cycle II had reached 86.67%, so it was included in the very good criteria. It is known that learning by implementing the Problem-Based Learning model is very effective and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of Indonesian regional culture through the application of the Guided Inquiry learning model. The research was conducted at SD Inpres Sikumana 3, involving 24 fifth-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation and testing, while data analysis was carried out using descriptive quantitative methods by calculating the percentage of learning mastery. The results showed that in Cycle I, 14 students (58.34%) achieved learning mastery, while 10 students (41.66%) did not. Students who achieved mastery were focused during the learning process, actively participated in group discussions, and were able to complete the tasks correctly. Meanwhile, students who did not achieve mastery tended to be less focused, frequently disrupted their peers, and were less involved in group work. In Cycle II, there was a significant improvement, with all students (100%) achieving mastery. This improvement occurred as students became more focused, refrained from disturbing others, and engaged more actively in the learning activities. The conclusion of this study is that the Guided Inquiry learning model is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes on the topic of Indonesian regional culture.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on students’ lack of interest in and knowledge of local cultural values, particularly ancestral cultural heritage, which contributes to the declining preservation of traditional customs in community life. The objective of this research is to identify the values embedded in the likurai dance that can be implemented in students' daily lives. A qualitative method was employed, with research subjects consisting of one local content teacher, five fifth-grade students, and one community figure, all selected purposively based on their knowledge of and involvement in local culture. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the likurai dance contains significant values that can serve as a foundation for character education, including: (1) aesthetic values reflected in movement, costume, and rhythm, which teach students to present themselves neatly and respectfully; (2) ethical values that foster mutual respect and gotong royong (communal cooperation); (3) cultural values that instill appreciation for local heritage; (4) fraternal values that strengthen cooperation and empathy; (5) religious values that promote gratitude; and (6) social values that encourage awareness of interpersonal interaction and mutual support. The study concludes that the values within the likurai dance can be implemented as part of learning guidance, particularly for strengthening students’ character education. The implications of these findings include theoretical contributions in enriching literature on the integration of local cultural values in education, and practical recommendations for the Belu Regency government and primary schools to develop culture-based education from an early age. This study also opens avenues for further research on unexplored cultural values within the likurai dance.

Abstract

Bullying behavior in elementary schools is a serious issue that negatively affects students' social and academic development. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in preventing and reducing bullying, as well as to evaluate its effectiveness in addressing the negative impacts of bullying on students' learning outcomes and social interactions at Nunhila State Elementary School. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that SEL has been implemented by teachers through strategies such as group discussions, self-reflection, and empathy training, although their conceptual understanding of SEL remains limited. SEL implementation contributes to character development, fostering empathy, and improving students’ ability to resolve conflicts peacefully. Furthermore, students began to exhibit healthier social interactions and a reduction in aggressive behavior. However, the implementation still faces challenges, including limited teacher training, lack of structured resources, and the absence of official teaching modules. The study concludes that SEL is an effective approach to creating a safe, inclusive, and character-driven school environment and offers a sustainable solution for bullying prevention in elementary education. ABSTRAKPerilaku bullying di sekolah dasar menjadi permasalahan serius yang berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan sosial dan akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Pembelajaran Sosial-Emosional (PSE) dalam upaya mencegah dan mengurangi perilaku bullying, serta mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam mengatasi dampak negatif bullying terhadap hasil belajar dan interaksi sosial siswa di SD Negeri Nunhila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PSE telah diimplementasikan oleh guru melalui strategi diskusi kelompok, refleksi diri, dan latihan empati, meskipun belum dilandasi oleh pemahaman konseptual yang kuat. Penerapan PSE terbukti berkontribusi dalam membentuk karakter siswa, menumbuhkan empati, serta meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan konflik secara damai. Selain itu, siswa mulai menunjukkan interaksi sosial yang lebih sehat dan penurunan kecenderungan perilaku agresif. Namun, implementasi PSE masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti minimnya pelatihan guru, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan belum tersedianya modul ajar terstruktur. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PSE merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, inklusif, dan mendukung pengembangan karakter siswa secara holistik, serta dapat dijadikan sebagai solusi berkelanjutan dalam pencegahan bullying di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes in learning about Pancasila values ​​using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Class V of Nunufafi Elementary School, TTU Regency. The type of research used is classroom action research with stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, testing and reflection by taking the research location at Nunufafi Elementary School, TTU Regency. he subjects of this study were 14 class V students consisting of 10 boys and 4 girls. Data collection was carried out using observation and test techniques, the data that had been collected was processed and analyzed further using qualitative descriptive analysis. Student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely the learning outcomes of cycle I can be seen that out of 14 students who completed 5 people (35.71%) with sufficient criteria and increased in cycle II, namely 13 people (92.85%) with very good criteria. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes on the material on the richness of Pancasila values ​​in class I V of Nunufafi Elementary School, TTU Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi mengenal karakteristik wilayah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) yang dikolaborasikan dengan media pembelajaran Quizizz. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Oetete I dengan subjek sebanyak 25 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, sebanyak 13 siswa (52%) mencapai ketuntasan, sementara 12 siswa (48%) belum tuntas. Siswa yang tuntas menunjukkan fokus dalam pembelajaran, aktif berdiskusi, dan mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan benar. Sementara itu, siswa yang belum tuntas cenderung kurang fokus, sering mengganggu teman, dan kurang terlibat dalam kerja kelompok. Pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan, yaitu 22 siswa (88%) mencapai ketuntasan dan hanya 3 siswa (12%) yang belum tuntas. Peningkatan ini terjadi karena siswa lebih fokus, tidak mengganggu teman, dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament yang dikolaborasikan dengan media Quizizz terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi mengenal karakteristik wilayah.
