Abstract

Learning strategies/methods are very important in learning. Errors in the selection of strategies/learning methods can be a barrier to the course of teaching and learning activities (KBM). Arabic is one of the subjects that is highly emphasized in Darusy Syahadah Islamic boarding school. The ability of the Arabic language for a santri is like a weapon that they will use in battle to search for and explore the Islamic sciences. However, in his journey there were several problems encountered in learning Arabic, including the emergence of drowsiness and boredom that befell students while attending Arabic learning. With these problems, it is necessary to have community service activities in order to create a more creative and attractive learning atmosphere for students. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide assistance in the application of the Musābaqah Biṭāqah Mukhtaliṭul Kalimah method in learning Arabic. The implementation method in this community service activity includes four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation phase, the observation and evaluation stage, and finally the reflection phase. With the application of the Musābaqah Biṭāqah Mukhtaliṭul Kalimah method, it is proven that it can increase the activeness and enthusiasm of student learning which impacts on increasing student learning outcomes. So the development of the Musābaqah Biṭāqah Mukhtaliṭul Kalimah method as well as other active learning methods is very necessary in order to increase student interest in learning.

Abstract

Formal education, especially in madrasahs, has an important role in shaping the personality of its students This research was motivated by factors in the application of separate class groupings between male and female students at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta, as an effort to foster student morals. Through the implementation of separate classes between male and female students, it is hoped that the school can become a place for the formation of students' character and personality into individuals with charismatic character. The method used is a qualitative approach with field observation, interviews and documentation and it was found that the factors that became the background to the implementation of the separation of male and female classes include internal factors where the teacher is easier to condition the class and more effectively determine learning strategies and methods, and for students able to show activeness in class and confidence in expressing their interests and talents and able to  exercise self-control with separate classes between sons and daughters. While external factors are the influence of globalization that is growing very rapidly and lack of attention from parents / guardians because of their busy lives. But the impact is not good, they tend to be more aggressive outside the madrasa. So that in addition to class separation, sufficient religious knowledge is needed for students. The class separation policy at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta is carried out with various considerations, one of which is because currently students and students have entered adolescence, so it is feared that things will happen that are not desirable between fellow students. This is in accordance with the school's vision and mission, which is to create a generation that has the character of akhlakul karimah.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has many negative impacts. The most dangerous impact is moral damage. Currently, pesantren is one of the choices of the community in improving morals through Islamic and religious learning. This study aims to identify the implementation of the internalization of moral education values and the obstacles to the internalization of moral education values at Pondok Pesma KH Mas Mansyur. This research is qualitative with data collection methods of observation, documentation, interviews. The data analysis technique starts from data collection as well as data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusions. The results of the research on the process of internalizing moral education carried out on Pesma students through moral habituation towards themselves by instilling honesty, trustworthiness, patience, tawadhu, doing good (ihsan). in daily habits and building good interactions. The method of internalizing the value of moral education in Pesma is the training method, habituation method, exemplary method, advice method, independence method. The implementation of moral education in Pesma KH mas Mansyur is carried out by example, learning process, and association. The supporting factor is the support and positive encouragement from parents, friends and the board of care. While inhibiting factors include coming from oneself, such as students often going home every weekend. Mahasantri return from campus activities late at night. This causes activities at pesma to be missed. In addition, the bad habit of being lazy at home that is carried over to the pesantren makes it less than optimal in carrying out activities in the student pesantren well.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing number of husbands engaging in polygamy, which leads to problems within their households. Various issues have been identified and explored in this study, including the positive and negative impacts of polygamy on family mental health in Glondong Village, Sawo, Yogyakarta. These impacts include anxiety, anger, high emotions, paranoia, and psychosomatic disorders. Factors contributing to the occurrence of polygamy in families in Glondong Village include infertility, the husband working outside the region, chronic illness of the wife, and a lack of affection from the husband towards the wife. The research problem is focused on understanding the effects of polygamy on family mental health in Glondong Village, as well as the factors leading to polygamy in these families. The objective of the study is to identify the impact of polygamy on family mental health and the factors leading to its occurrence. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method to depict the phenomena, utilizing informants such as the village head, polygamous husbands, their wives, and neighbors. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using qualitative techniques, including data validation methods such as prolonged engagement, researcher persistence, and triangulation. The study finds that, negative impacts include hostility, lack of marital harmony, anxiety, irritability, high emotions, paranoia, and psychosomatic disorders. Factors contributing to polygamy include the husband's duty away from home, the wife's infertility or inability to bear children, chronic illness of the wife, and the husband's lack of affection towards the wife.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of the implementation of the Tahfidzul Qur'an program on the improvement of students' learning achievements in Al-Qur'an Hadith at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar. The study uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive phenomenological design, employing interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. The data were analyzed using a triangulation technique to ensure accuracy and validity. The findings indicate that the Tahfidzul Qur'an program has a significant positive effect on students' academic performance in Al-Qur'an Hadith. The program, which incorporates methods such as Talqin, Talaqqi, Takrir, and Muroja'ah, enhances students' ability to memorize and understand the Qur'an, which in turn supports their learning in related subjects like Al-Qur'an Hadith. Furthermore, the structured environment provided by the program, supported by regular evaluations and parent involvement, motivates students to engage more deeply with the material, resulting in improved cognitive skills, discipline, and time management.The study also identifies key factors that contribute to the program’s success, including regular evaluations, strong collaboration between the school and parents, and an integrated curriculum. However, challenges such as the limited number of qualified Tahfidz teachers and the students' busy schedules were also noted. These findings suggest that while the program has a substantial positive impact, there is a need for further improvements, particularly in terms of teacher capacity and time management for students. This research contributes to the understanding of how religious education programs, specifically the Tahfidzul Qur'an, can significantly influence academic performance in related subjects. The findings provide insights for educators and policymakers on integrating memorization programs effectively into academic curricula, especially in Islamic educational settings. The study highlights the importance of a holistic approach to learning that combines spiritual, cognitive, and academic development, and it offers recommendations for optimizing such programs to maximize their benefits for students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement of Arabic speaking skills through the Muhadatsah method in Special Program (PK) students at Madrasas, especially in class VII students at MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo in the 2024/2025 academic year. Arabic, which is the main language of learning at Madrasas, has an important role in daily communication, worship, and reading the Koran. Learning Arabic through Muhadatsah aims to enable students to communicate fluently in Arabic, learn more about worship, and make it easier to read the Koran and pray. The research method used is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, while data validity testing used triangulation. Data analysis was carried out in the following steps: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) drawing conclusions, and 5) verification. The research results showed that the Arabic speaking skills of class VII PK MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo students improved through Muhadatsah learning which involved making daily conversations, making speeches, singing, and watching Arabic videos. However, there are several obstacles, such as a lack of basic Arabic for some students and teachers' difficulty in managing time. The proposed solution is to provide assignments at school and at home, so that students can participate in learning better. The impact of this research can enrich Islamic education scholarship, especially in teaching Muhadatsah as an integral part of Arabic language learning. This approach can strengthen students' Arabic language communication skills which are important for daily worship activities, as well as exploring Islamic religious knowledge in more depth.

Abstract

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of research on "Religious Education Systems in Schools" to identify trends, themes, and future directions. Data was sourced from the Scopus database covering 1915–2024, with 723 relevant documents analyzed using tools such as R, RStudio, VOSviewer, and Microsoft Excel. A systematic three-stage process was employed to assess publication trends, thematic clusters, and relationships among research elements. The results indicate a steady growth in publications, particularly after 2000, with a peak in 2023. Key themes include integrating religious values into curricula, the role of religious education in shaping national identity, and emerging topics on gender and diversity. Dominant keywords such as "education," "curriculum," and "multiculturalism" emphasize the focus on inclusivity and innovation. Countries like the USA, UK, and Israel lead in research output, while Indonesia emerges as a significant contributor from the Global South. The study highlights opportunities for future research, including integrating technology in religious education, fostering interreligious dialogue, and addressing social equity through inclusive frameworks. This bibliometric analysis provides a roadmap for educators, researchers, and policymakers to enhance the relevance, inclusivity, and global impact of religious education in schools amidst evolving societal challenges.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan tartil dan tilawah diakui dengan melalui penghargaan dalam bentuk ibadah, seni, dan budaya. Banyak Muslim Indonesia yang berusaha untuk mempelajari dan menguasai teknik-teknik qiraat yang benar, termasuk cara melafalkan huruf-huruf Arab dengan tepat, memahami tajwid (aturan bacaan Alqur’an), serta memperindah bacaan mereka dengan intonasi yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah lebih dalam evaluasi pembelajaran tartil dan tilawah al-Quran yang ideal dengan konsep talaqqi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Adapun teknik pengambilan data menggunakan data observasi, wawancara serta referensi terkait. Serta teknik analisis data juga menggunakan empat tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, klasifikasi data dengan menstrukturkan beberapa poin analisis terkait hingga kesimpulan pada analisis. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini, (1) hanya sebagian guru yang melaksanakan konsep talaqqi. (2) Sedangkan kurikulum di Yayasan Bina Pendidikan Irmuna Cirebon sudah tersistematis dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada cara-cara yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam memotivasi dan mendukung santri dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah  menganalisis strategi guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar santri. Metode ini menggunakan kualitatif. Ada 2 macam sumber data yakni data sekunder dan primer. Terdapat langkah-langkah dalam proses pengumpulan data yakni wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Temuan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa strategi guru untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar santri berfungsi untuk memotivasi setiap Tindakan yang akan dilakukan atau dorongan santri dalam melakukan suatu Tindakan untuk menjadi lebih semangat dalam belajar. Mendorong santrinya agar melakukan sesuatu harus berdasarkan manfaat dan fungsi yang baik. Strategi ini berguna untuk memberikan pengaruh yang postif terhadap perkembangan motivasi belajar santri.
