This contradictions always accompany the history of human and determine the style of knowledge produced through an education process. In this case, the mediums used to have knowledge and the methods of education must not become aseriously debate matter, but the most important thing to reconsider is the essence of science finding.Keywords: Style of knowledges, Education, Science

Abstract

The objective of this study was to improve the students’ motivation and achievement in the course of Electrical Installation through the 5 E learning cycle (5 E LC) at the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University. The approach used in this study was the 5 stages of the 5 E learning cycle consists of Engagement, Exploration, Explain, Extend, and Evaluation. This  study is categorised as Classroom Action Research (CAR). It referred to the model of CAR offered by Kemmis and Taggart. The data was collected using documentation, questionnaires, observation and tests. The data was analysed descriptively. The results of the study showed the 5 E learning cycle could improve the students’ achievement, learning activities, and learning motivation. The mean score of learning achievement was 79. It  was higher compared to the minimum target that was 60. The improvement of learning activities in the first  cycle, second cycle and third cycle were 1.25, 2.42, and 2.92 respectively. The improvement of learning motivation in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle were 2.5, 2.8, and 3.2 respectively.

Abstract

Bank Indonesia as the central bank and banking supervisor in Indonesia has determined the size of the assessment of the well-grounded of banks. One of the qualifications of BI is that banks with problematic payments must not exceed 5% ( Jurnal JEST,Vol.1;2014). Preliminary data obtained in the field indicate that problematic payments at BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia are more than 10%, and this is a matter of research that must be carried out. This research is a qualitative study using three data sources; literature, interviews and observations. The results of the study were obtained that (1). The factors that cause problematic payments at BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia are (a) Weak purchasing power (60%); (b) Number of similar trade competition (30%); (c) The customer changed address and did not report to BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia (10%). (2). The strategies were implemented by BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia in handling problem payments on murabahah financing were: (a). Providing warning letters to BMT members who experience problem payments. (b). BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia made a visit to the homes of BMT members who experienced problematic payments to see the objective conditions of the members and the business being run. (c). BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia asked directly about the business development of BMT members who experienced problems in repaying loans. (d). BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia reschedules problem financing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of religion and the development of children's character in the localization of Dolly Alley. Then to find out the learning process that is suitable for children in the location and find out how parents model good character and religious education in the location. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The main techniques for collecting data are observation and in-depth interviews. The respondent of this research is the Religious Teacher at SDN Putat Jaya 1. The closure of the area had an impact on the local community who lost their jobs. Including children who are affected, for example, children dropping out of school because their parents do not have jobs, even though the local government helps with MSME businesses but does not last long. This phenomenon results in children dropping out of school and low motivation to learn and eventually becoming undirected. These children have deviant behavior and bad character. Therefore, the author raised this title, able to provide solutions to the problems of character education and religious education for children in Gang Dolly by reducing school dropout rates and increasing learning motivation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemajuan teknologi dan perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat saat sekarang ini sangatlah berbeda dari beberapa dari tahun sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam kegiatan bisnis terutama promosi menjadi aspek penting dalam upaya meningkatkan penjualan bagi pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) yang seringkali memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya. Pengabdian ini difokuskan pada pengabdian masyarakat dengan tujuan membantu UMKM mengadopsi dan mengoptimalkan berbagai teknologi untuk meningkatkan daya saing mereka melalui strategi promosi yang efektif. Metodologi pengabdian dilakukan melalui serangkaian pelatihan langsung kepada UMKM di Kota Batam di wilayah Kecamatan Sagulung, dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan dan karakteristik masing-masing usaha. Teknologi yang difokuskan meliputi penggunaan media sosial, pemasaran digital, dan alat-alat e-commerce yang dapat membantu UMKM mencapai visibilitas yang lebih besar di pasar online dan juga diberikan pelatihan bagaimana meningkatkan motivasi dan strategi dalam berusaha. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan UMKM dalam menggunakan teknologi promosi, yang berdampak positif pada peningkatan penjualan dan akses pasar. Adopsi teknologi ini juga membantu UMKM untuk membangun hubungan yang lebih kuat dengan pelanggan, meningkatkan pelayanan, dan pada akhirnya, meningkatkan omset penjualan. Keberhasilan pengabdian ini tidak hanya terletak pada implementasi teknologi, tetapi juga pada pemberdayaan UMKM untuk mandiri dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan strategi promosi berbasis teknologi. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat segera bagi UMKM yang terlibat, tetapi juga memberikan landasan bagi keberlanjutan dan peningkatan kapasitas mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan di era digital ini khususnya di Kota Batam. Kata Kunci: Teknologi, promosi, penjualan, UMKM ABSTRACT The rapid advances in technology and shifts in societal lifestyles necessitate the integration of technology in business operations, especially for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with limited resources. The focus is on community service, aiding MSMEs in adopting and optimizing technology to enhance competitiveness through effective promotional strategies. This activity is focused on community service with the aim of helping MSMEs adopt and optimize various technologies to increase their competitiveness through effective promotional strategies. The service methodology is carried out through a series of direct training for MSMEs in the Sagulung District area Batam City taking into account the needs and characteristics of each business. The technology focused on the use of social media, digital marketing, and e-commerce tools to help MSMEs achieve greater visibility in the online market and training is also provided on how to increase motivation and strategy in business. The results of the service show an increase in MSMEs' understanding and skills in using promotional technology, which has a positive impact on increasing sales and market access. Adoption of this technology also helps MSMEs to build stronger relationships with customers, improve service, and ultimately, increase sales turnover. The success of this service does not only lie in the implementation of technology, however also in empowering MSMEs to be independent in managing and developing technology-based promotional strategies. Therefore, this service not only provides immediate benefits for the MSMEs involved, but also provides a foundation for sustainability and increasing their capacity in facing challenges in this digital era, especially in Batam City. Abstract

Education in Indonesia has always adapted well to keep up with increasingly advanced and developing times, one of which is the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum which aims to improve the quality of student learning through school innovation design. Therefore, this research was initiated to evaluate and identify the effectiveness of school innovation efforts in teaching the History of Islamic Culture to grade 10 high school students through audio-visual learning media. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. The research subjects were students in class 10.3 of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. Data was collected through interviews, field observations, and posttest results conducted over 4 weeks. The results of the research show that the use of audio-visual learning media in learning the History of Islamic Culture for grade 10 students is proven to be able to achieve learning objectives well. This is proven by the post-test answers which show 84% of students answered 10 questions perfectly. The conclusion is that audio-visual learning media is effective in supporting the learning of Islamic Cultural History

Abstract

Pendidikan anak diharapkan nantinya akan dapat menciptakan manusia yang sempurna dari segi pengetahuan, akhlak, dan moralnya. Bobroknya anak zaman sekarang mengakibatkan krisis terhadap moralitas dan adab, mereka melakukan apa saja yang mereka suka tanpa memikirkan dampak yang akan mereka alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai pendidikan anak dalam buku Tarbiyatul Aulad Fil Islam karya Dr. Abdullah Nashih ‘Ulwan dan untuk mengetahui relevansinya terhadap pendidikan agama islam. Penelitin ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan karena penulis mengulas konsep pemikiran Abdullah Nashih ‘Ulwan pada bukunya Tarbiyatul Aulad Fil Islam dan buku serta jurnal lain yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. konsep pendidikan anak menurut Abdullah Nashih ‘Ulwan ada 7 macam yaitu : pendidikan iman, pendidikan moral, pendidikan fisik, pendidikan akal, pendidikan kejiawaan, pendidikan sosial, dan pendidikan seks. Adapun metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai nilai-nilai pendidikan tersebut ada 5 cara yaitu : mendidik dengan keteladanan, mendidik dengan kebiasaan, mendidik dengan perhatian, mendidik dengan dengan nasihat, dan mendidik dengan memberi hukuman. pendidikan anak menurut Abdullah Nashih ‘Ulwan ini sangat relevan dengan pendidikan agama islam. Yang mana nilai-nilai pendidikan dan pemikirannya bersumber pada Al-Quran dan Al-Hadist sehingga nilai-nilai pendidikan anak yang terkandung dalam bukunya tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran islam namun sebaliknya nilai-nilai pendidikan anak tersebut sejalan dan sesuai dengan ajaran islam.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental mengacu pada keadaan jiwa dan psikologis seseorang yang menunjukkan kemampuan mereka untuk beradaptasi dan menyelesaikan masalah, baik yang berasal dari dalam diri maupun dari lingkungan eksternal. Pada kisaran usia remaja, yaitu antara 15 hingga 24 tahun, terdapat sekitar 6,2% individu yang mengalami depresi. Depresi yang berat dapat meningkatkan risiko perilaku menyakiti diri sendiri, termasuk bunuh diri, dengan sekitar 80 hingga 90% kasus bunuh diri terkait dengan depresi dan kecemasan. Penting untuk memberikan edukasi tentang kesehatan mental sebagai langkah preventif untuk mencegah masalah kesehatan mental dan dampak yang mungkin timbul. Salah satu penyebab masalah kesehatan mental yang banyak terjadi adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan mengenai hal tersebut. Berdasarkan survei yang peneliti lakukan sekitar 95.7% responden merasa perlu lebih banyak informasi atau pendidikan tentang kesehatan mental. Edukasi memiliki peran penting karena membantu kita mengetahui cara mengatasi dan mencegah masalah kesehatan mental. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, diperlukan keinginan untuk belajar dan mencari informasi yang luas tentang kesehatan mental. Aplikasi edukasi kesehatan mental yang dinamakan "MentalCare" dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode SDLC Prototype. Aplikasi ini menawarkan materi pembelajaran dan kuis untuk membantu mahasiswa dan remaja memahami materi kesehatan mental. Selain itu, tersedia fitur konsultasi pribadi dengan psikolog terkait edukasi kesehatan mental. Aplikasi ini berupa progressive web app yang memungkinkan pengguna mengaksesnya seperti aplikasi native. Ada tiga jenis pengujian yang dilakukan pengujian blackbox, usabilitas, dan dampak penggunaan aplikasi terhadap pengetahuan pengguna. Pada pengujian blackbox, hasilnya menunjukkan 100% valid untuk semua kebutuhan fungsional. Hasil pengujian SUS untuk psikolog menunjukkan skor 87.5 dan pengguna mendapatkan skor 85.75 yang masing-masing termasuk dalam kategori yang sangat baik. Berdasarkan pengujian dampak penggunaan aplikasi terhadap pengetahuan pengguna, aplikasi MentalCare terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan mental para pengguna.
