Abstract

This article aims to reveal the determinants of sharia compliance in collecting Zakat, Infaq and Shadaqah (ZIS) funds through the charity box culture (kencleng  ) at the Sumenep Zakat, Infaq and Shadaqah Amil Institute (LAZISNU) involving non-Muslims. Collecting ZIS through kencleng   involving non-Muslims is problematic. This research examines the kencleng   culture in collecting ZIS as a factor that determines sharia compliance. This article argues that fundrasing through kencleng   culture involving non-Muslims in Lazisnu Sumenep city fulfills sharia compliance. The article is based on qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. Research informants consisted of LAZISNU administrators, kencleng   distributors, shops, and ZIS donors. This article identifies four determinants of sharia compliance in fundraising donations through kencleng   culture at LAZISNU Sumenep: First, the generosity in fundraising is the initial motivation for participation in collecting ZIS. Second, the aqad factor of donations through kencleng as philanthropy determines the validity of ZIS. Third, regular monitoring and supervision by Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) even though administratively it shows that standard operating procedures (SOP) are being implemented. Fourth, kencleng   socio-cultural norms help promote ZIS collection. The contribution of this research is the importance of strengthening sharia commitment, effectiveness, community participation and promotion as an effort to optimize ZIS collection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitiannya adalah explanatory research. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 karyawan PT Marinal Indo Prima, dengan metode yang digunakan adalah aksidental sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan berupa data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  Kecerdasan Emosionalberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimization of customer interest in barokah savings at PT. BPRS Bhakti Sumekar. Barokah savings are savings or customer funds deposits in the form of rupiah savings with a wadhi'ah yadh dhamanah contract, namely as a pure deposit that will help manage your funds to be more blessed. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, the results of observations with case study designs from interviews with related and responsible parties that optimizing customer interest in barokah savings at BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Pamekasan Branch are quite good, where from From year to year, the number of customers has increased, with the assistance of the marketing department and very good socialization and door-to-door marketing strategies, so that they are helped and influential. The optimization has also been carried out carefully with caution both in terms of service, especially in friendliness in communicating with customers and always competent and consistent in determining the schedule that has been determined between the customer and the marketing party.

Abstract

Profitabilitas merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan perbankan syariah. Tingkat profitabilitas yang tinggi akan membuat perbankan syariah mampu berkembang lebih cepat. Dalam meningkatkan profitablitiasnya, perbankan syariah dituntut agar dapat mengelola biaya operasionalnya secara efisien, pencadangan modal yang optimal, dan penyaluran pembiayaan yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji apakah penerapan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) mampu memoderasi pengelolaan biaya operasional, pencadangan modal dan penyaluran pembiayaan terhadap profitabilitas perbankan syariah. Secara metodologis, penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksplanatori. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode teknik purposive samplingdengan jumlah data yang tersaring sebanyak 10 bank syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan karakteristik bank yang terdiri dari BOPO, CAR, dan FDR sebagai variabel independen, menggunakan good corporate governance (GCG) sebagai variabel moderasidan menggunakan ROA sebagai varibel dependen. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dengan Pooled Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa BOPO berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap ROA, CAR berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap ROA, FDR berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap ROA, Good Corporate Governance(GCG)berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap ROA. Selanjutnya Good Corporate Governance(GCG) mampu memoderasi variabel BOPO terhadap ROA, dan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) mampu memoderasi variabel CAR terhadap ROA.Namun demikian,Good Corporate Governance (GCG) tidak mampu memoderasi hubungan FDR terhadap profitabilitas perbankan syariah.

Abstract

Payroll termasuk produk layanan yang berguna untuk membantu proses pembayaran gaji karyawan di suatu instansi. Pengeluaran gaji tiap bulannya tidak menentu dikarenakan adanya perubahan dari satu periode ke periode lainnya. Hal itu juga disebabkan karena pegawai negeri bisa menggunakan layanan payroll di lembaga keuangan lainnya, tentunya di balik semua itu ada faktor pendukung dan penghambat mengapa nasabah masih tetap setia menggunakan layanan payroll di BPRS. Bhakti Sumekar dan mengapa nasabah pindah lembaga ketika ingin menggunakan layanan payroll. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, menyajikan data dan menyimpulkan data untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat. untuk memverifikasi keakuratan data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa adanya kerjasama antara pihak perusahaan atau pemerintah dengan bank dalam layanan payroll tersebut. Layanan payroll di BPRS. Bhakti Sumekar Saronggi dapat digunakan setelah menjadi nasabah bank tersebut. Meningkatnya minat nasabah dalam menggunakan layanan payroll karena tidak adanya nisbah dalam layanan tersebut sehingga menjadi faktor pendukung layanan itu sendiri. Adapun penghambatnya terletak pada faktor penghambat eksternal yaitu terjadi keterlambatan pencairan gaji oleh bank baik dari pihak perusahaan ataupun pemerintah sehingga mengakibatkan terhutangnya gaji karyawan yang terkadang tidak dibayarkan

Abstract

Many business people in underdeveloped villages have difficulty getting business capital. The biggest problem that arises is that there are business people who do not have collateral so it is difficult to get business capital. The existence of PNM Mekaar Syariah in the village community with a business capital distribution service without collateral is very helpful. This research is important to carry out with the aim of analyzing the business capital service system provided by PNM Mekaar Syariah to customers in Ganding District, Sumenep. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The results of this research outline the data that in providing business capital funding assistance, the Ganding branch of PNM Mekaar Syariah does not use collateral but uses a joint responsibility system and provides village communities with business training and supervision of business growth. The impact is that village communities feel served by the government in matters of business capital and hope that services will be optimized and the results will be cheaper.

Abstract

This study assesses the potential for financial distress in Bank Muamalat Indonesia the country’s pioneering Islamic bank by integrating financial ratio analysis with the Springate predictive model. Triggered by persistent fluctuations in profitability metrics, the study investigates whether key financial indicators. Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) significantly influence financial distress. Using a descriptive quantitative design and quarterly data from 2016 to 2022, multiple regression results indicate that none of the selected ratios exert a statistically significant effect (p > 0.05). However, the Springate model consistently produced S-scores above the distress threshold (0.862), indicating financial resilience throughout the study period. The findings suggest that while traditional performance ratios may lack predictive accuracy in this context, the Springate model provides a more reliable early-warning framework for assessing financial health. This study contributes to the literature on financial risk diagnostics in Islamic banking and offers practical implications for enhancing Shariah-compliant internal supervision systems.

Abstract

Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT), as part of Islamic Microfinance Institutions (IMFIs), plays a crucial role in enhancing financial inclusion in areas not yet reached by formal banking systems. This study aims to analyze the strategies for brand image development and customer acquisition at BMT Nusantara Capem Prenduan. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data were analyzed through the processes of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the brand image of BMT is shaped by three main factors: the reputation of the parent pesantren institution, technological innovation through the Mobile UGT application, and a religious-humanist door-to-door service approach. Communication strategies are carried out directly by staff members through an active and consistent personal approach. Even during the institutional rebranding phase, customer trust and loyalty remained intact. These findings underscore the importance of a strong institutional image and well-directed communication strategies in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of IMFIs amid the dynamics of the digital economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between third party funds, capital adequacy ratio, non-performing financing partially and simultaneously on financing at PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia. The object of this study is the quarterly financial report of PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia for the period 2018-2022. The data collection technique uses documentation with multiple linear regression analysis tests. The results of the t-test analysis show that partially the DPK variable has no effect on financing with a significance value of 0.100> 0.05 and a t-count value of 1.748 <t table 2.120. The NPF variable does not affect financing because the significance value is 0.308> 0.05 with a t-count value of 1.054 <2.120. The CAR variable affects financing with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05 and a t-count value of 7.131> 2.120. Simultaneously, the DPK, CAR, and NPF variables affect financing. This is proven by the sig-F value of 0.00 < 0.05 and the comparison of F table (3.20) < F count (21,773). The predictive ability of the three variables on financing is 76.6% as indicated by the amount of adjusted R2, while the remaining 23.4% is influenced by other ratio factors.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong perbankan, termasuk Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), untuk menghadirkan layanan yang efisien dan sesuai kebutuhan nasabah. Salah satu inovasi terbaru adalah peluncuran BYOND by BSI, platform digital yang menggantikan aplikasi BSI Mobile dengan tampilan modern dan fitur yang lebih lengkap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh digitalisasi BYOND by BSI terhadap kepuasan nasabah BSI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap nasabah BSI di Kabupaten Sumenep. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode SEM-PLS dengan bantuan software WarpPLS 8.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi melalui platform BYOND by BSI berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap tingkat kepuasan nasabah dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,962 dan nilai p < 0,001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kualitas layanan digital BYOND, maka semakin tinggi pula kepuasan yang dirasakan oleh nasabah. Penelitian ini memperkuat pentingnya digitalisasi layanan perbankan syariah sebagai strategi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan loyalitas nasabah di era digital. Kata Kunci: BYOND by BSI, Digitalisasi, Kepuasan Nasabah.   Abstract The development of digital technology encourages banks, including Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), to provide services that are efficient and meet customer needs. One of the latest innovations is the launch of BYOND by BSI, a digital platform that replaces the BSI Mobile application with a modern look and more complete features. This study aims to analyze the effect of digitizing BYOND by BSI on BSI customer satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique of BSI customers in Sumenep District. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the SEM-PLS method with the help of WarpPLS 8.0 software. The results of the study indicate that digitalization through the BYOND by the BSI platform has a significant and positive effect on the level of customer satisfaction with a coefficient value of 0.962 and a p-value <0.001. This shows that the higher the quality of BYOND digital services, the higher the satisfaction felt by customers. This research reinforces the importance of the digitalization of Islamic banking services as a strategy to improve service quality and customer loyalty in the digital era.
