Abstract

Introduction: In 2018, the incidence of cancer in Indonesia reached 136.2 per 100,000 population and leukemia cancer was in the fifth position as the deadliest cancer and has killed 11,314 lives. The high cost of treating leukemia has costed the funding budget in the JKN-KIS program up to Rp3.4 trillion. Researchers have tried to use natural ingredients to develop new anti-leukemia agents. Content: One of the compounds that can inhibit leukemia cancer is piperidinyl-p-coumaramide, a derivative of p-coumaric acid which can be found and isolated from rice plant waste or Oryzae sativa. Each year, 79.2 million tons of rice are produced and generate 19.8 million tons of husk. The aim of this article is to utilize rice husk as a piperidinyl-p-coumaramide precursor for leukemia drug. Method: The method used was stratified extraction of the husk waste using a water-methanol and ethyl acetate solution. The extract was then isolated and purified by TLC. After that, the assay was analyzed using HPLC. P-coumaric acid is modified into piperidinyl-p-coumaramide by reacting it with piperidine. Conclusion: The activity of piperidinyl-p-coumaramide as an anti-leukemic cancer on p388 cells can be tested in vitro and in vivo. According to the literature study, 100 grams rice husk may generate 265.4 ± 2.4 milligrams p-coumaric acid that can be synthesized into piperidinyl-p-coumaramide which has IC50 around 5,34 µg/mL thus can be utilized as an anti-leukemia cancer.

Abstract

Trademarks means any sign which is capable of distinguishing goods or services dealt with or provided in the course of trade that must be protected to prevent unfair competition, justice, public order and legal certainty. Registered trademarks has full rights to use the trademarks. Therefore considering the importance of trademark registration in the constitutive system, it is expected to trademarks user to register its marks in the Intellectual Property office in order to avoid lawsuits either criminal claims or compensation from another party. This study describes clearly and carefully about the similarities and differences of the provisions of trademarks in Indonesia and United States, how the protection of the law and the provisions of the state know which one is better in providing legal protection to trademarks holder.This research is a normative law by using the method of comparative law. The data used are secondary data. Performed with data mining literature (library research). Once all the data is collected, the data is then processed and analyzed, the qualitative analysis was used to group the data point by the studies aspects. Further conclusions drawn related to this study, then described descriptively.Based on the results of this study showed that there are some similarities and differences between Indonesia’s and United States’ provisions. But, judging from the legal protection to trademarks holder, United States’ trademarks law provides more protection instead of Indonesia’s, based on the further protection measures to protect the rights of its trademarks.

Abstract

The tourism is one of the strategic sectors and has an important role as a source of foreign exchange and encourages national economic growth. Since March 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has begun to enter Indonesia, and the cumulative infection curve has not sloped, and is still increasing exponentially until now. This phenomenon has resulted in a contraction in the Indonesian economy or created negative economic growth, as well as creating very bad conditions for the tourism sector in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on tourism and its implications for economic growth in Indonesia. The data used are quarterly time series data before and after the Covid-19 Pandemic (2018-2020). This study uses a regression equation model that is estimated by using ordinary least square (OLS). Secondary data used are data air transport and hotel accommodation, as a proxy for tourism variables. The results show that the Covid-19 Pandemic has a negative effect on Indonesian tourism, and has negative implications for Indonesia's GDP. From the simulation results, the findings of this study also calculate the amount of potential lost in the Turism and Indonesian economy during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Banana is a kind of berry fruit which has ovaled shape and has yellow, green or brown color with smooth flesh and commonly sweet. Almost all banana has yellow skin while ripe, although some of them have orange, red, green, purple or even black. Color space consists of crominant and luminant component, whereas element that is often used for skin color is crominant element and use RGB and YCbCr, because this YCbCr color space achieve the best result for skin. Skin color detected could be used to determine maturity level of banana. The process of identification of banana maturity will begin by changing the inserted RGB image into a grayscale image. After that, the grayscale image obtained will be converted into a black and white image so that objects can be grouped in it. Then, the pixel color of the image in the detected area will be changed to the YCbCr color space. Based on the YCbCr value obtained, the level of maturity of the banana will be detected. RGB Ratio method could be used to detect banana maturity level accurately. Application achieved could be used to detect banana maturity level for input image. Based on the results of testing process, obtained information that the accuracy of the identification process of banana maturity is 90%.

Abstract

The success of a company in terms of product quality can be seen and judged also by the company's brand awareness about the product, attractive brand awareness of course can attract prospective buyers or retain existing buyers, of course all that must also be supported by good promotion interesting. Brand awareness and promotion (advertising) of a company for its products can of course influence the purchasing decisions of consumers or prospective consumers themselves. This certainly has a positive impact on the company in the long term. This study wants to prove the influence of each variable, namely brand awareness and promotion of purchasing decisions, where brand awareness is an intervening variable for purchasing decisions on AQUA brand beverage products. Based on previous research and related to supporting theories proposed by experts using the SPSS program as a statistical data processing tool. This type of research is associative research. Associative research is a method / form of research carried out to connect one variable to another variable. In this study researchers used nonprobability sampling techniques because researchers did not know the total number of members of the population studied. While the sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling, which is a form of sampling based on coincidence where, who met with the researcher and considered suitable to be a source of data that will be the sample of this study. While the sample population is 100 people, with data analysis techniques using Path Analysis Based on data processing using path analysis, it is evident that there is a significant effect of advertising and brand awareness on buying decisions and advertising variables directly affect brand awareness variables, whereas for buying decisions, advertising variables have an indirect influence

Abstract

McDonald’s merupakan salah satu pioneer restoran cepat saji yang telah berhasil menguasai pasar global termasuk di Indonesia. Persaingan antara restoran cepat saji semakin ketat, sehingga perusahaan makanan cepat saji berlomba-lomba menciptakan inovasi dan ide-ide menarik untuk mempertahankan konsumen. Tujuan dari analisis ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi bisnis apa dan bagaimana cara McDonald’s dapat memasuki pasar internasional dan menjadi restoran cepat saji yang paling diminati oleh masyarakat mancanegara. Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai pengaruh penerapan sistem Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) di bidang logistik terhadap kinerja manajemen rantai pasok PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. ERP membantu PT. Indofood dalam memonitor produksi dan persediaan produk mereka dengan efektif serta mengoptimalkan proses pengiriman produk kepada pelanggan. Penerapan ERP pada Kinerja Manajemen Rantai Pasok (SCM) di Indofood juga memungkinkan adanya integritas data yang lebih baik, perencanaan produksi yang tepat waktu dan akurat, manajemen persediaan yang lebih efektif, serta pengiriman produk yang lebih cepat dan efisien. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan bagi pembaca mengenai keefektifan dan keefisienan penerapan sistem ERP di perusahaan, terutama di bidang logistik. Diharapkan bahwa artikel ini dapat membantu pembaca memahami manfaat dan tantangan dalam penerapan ERP pada SCM, serta memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana perusahaan seperti Indofood dapat mengelola rantai pasok dengan lebih efektif dan efisien melalui penerapan ERP. Abstract

Laporan ini membahas mengenai usaha "Tatakanku" yang berinisiatif daur ulang limbah agar mengurangi masalah sampah di Indonesia. Isi laporan mengenai analisis penerapan manajemen proyek oleh "Tatakanku" dalam integrasi, pengelolaan ruang lingkup, waktu, biaya, dan kualitas. Dalam integrasi proyek, dilakukan perencanaan, pengawasan, pengendalian, dan pelaporan. Pengelolaan ruang lingkup menggunakan Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) untuk produksi tatakan gelas dari sampah. Manajemen waktu memastikan penyelesaian sesuai jadwal, dan manajemen biaya menghitung biaya di setiap tahap. Analisis kualitas melibatkan diagram Pareto untuk masalah prioritas, analisis SWOT untuk evaluasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman "Tatakanku", serta diagram Ishikawa untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab masalah kualitas. Abstract

SMKN1 on the island of Bangka is a school located in the Bangka area. Currently, SMKN1 already uses and implements IS/IT to carry out its business processes. There are several problems in schools such as a website system that cannot be accessed, student attendance records are done manually so that recording errors often occur, and errors in recording the names of students who have attended extracurricular due to the large number of students. Therefore, we need an IS/IT design that can support the company's ongoing business processes. In this study, research and design were carried out with the application of enterprise architecture. The framework used in this article is the Zachman framework. In this paper, a complete perspective is not used, only using a 4x5 perspective because the process is not carried out until the implementation, the process is carried out only until the design. The result of the design is in the form of an IS/IT system blueprint. Suggested applications are school websites, e-library websites, attendance websites, procurement systems, and extracurricular websites.
