Abstract

This is a descriptive qualitative study that aims to describe Indonesian economists language attitude, specifically on the way they label the products.By means of behaviorist approach, the study raises an interpretation of the economists throughot observation. In order to come to the answer of the problem, data employed in this present study is the secondary data derived from other researchers. Then, the analysis of the data is employed by reviewing the labeling process in three ways, namely reasons for labeling, characteristics of the language attitude, and the Act 24 year 2009. It is figured out that there are 29 products labeled using foreign words or phrase, and the rest 11 products useIndonesia language. The phenomenon shows that labeling in foreign languages would enhance the positive image of the  product. On the other hand, positive attitude is shown by the economists through their loyalty using bahasa Indonesia for labelling. Final finding is to show that the attitude displays the conterproductive to the Act 24 of 2009.

Abstract

Abstract: This study wants to explore and examine the relationship between potential factors and the student's moral reasoning. Reasoning on moral decisions occurred when students should make a judgment of pursuing their academic goals. Several studies have tried to explain this from various perspectives. Every student was taken for granted to understand his ethical decisions in the academic process. However, the understanding showed that moral awareness has not correlated with the academic score (GPA) and gender variable. This research used quantitative method. The participants in this research were 521 students from 29 departments. The moral reasoning scale was measured by construct validity. Covariate analysis was used to generate a multivariable model. Based on the neutralization theory, the research found that the tendency to make justifications on immoral behaviour is higher for male students and is significantly done by the students at the GPA's level ranging from 2.01 to 2.5. The characteroriented learning process is essential to help students in developing their moral awareness. Lack of understanding of how moral decisions to be made indicates a gap in the academic process which is dominated cognitive aspect. Imposing sanctions without character training does not provide a solution to problems that appear to be a small issue in education but can have a significant detrimental impact when the student immerses and works in society. Keywords: socio-demographics, moral reasoning, education, students ‘SAYA TAHU APA YANG SAYA LAKUKAN ITU SALAH, TETAPI…’: INVESTIGASI FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENALARAN MORAL MAHASISWA (ABSENSI) Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dan menguji hubungan antara faktor-faktor potensial dan penalaran moral siswa.

Abstract

Women are often seen as inferior to males in the community. Their occupations are limited to domestic duties such as caring for the family and making sure that everyday necessities are met. Despite their undervalued values, women continue to play a critical role in guaranteeing the welfare of the community, the well-being of the family, and the healthy development of the children. Nowadays, many women are joining the workforce, taking on leadership positions and taking part in a variety of community activities. This demonstrates the importance of women as contributors to society and the need to develop women's potential. Therefore, the study's goal is to investigate factors facilitating women's spiritual empowerment for treating female corpses. The study is focused on women empowerment at Desa Punggul by adopting qualitative method. The data are collected through participant direct observation and facilitating team's documentation, which are collected during community service program. The collected data are analyzed by using thematic analysis method. The study finds that women spiritual empowerment at Desa Punggul are enabled by two main factors. The first factor is the contribution of women organization (PKK). The women's organization promotes women's development in three areas: cognition (improving women's skills and knowledge, learning, or participating in decision-making, collaborating, and organizing community events), affection (boosting women's self-efficacy, self-worth, and strengthening women's mentality), and social (expanding social roles, establishing wider social relationships, and gaining support from their peers). The second component is the encouragement of a welcoming, cooperative, tolerant, engaging, and inclusive environment or community.

Abstract

English This study applies linguistic landscape theory to analyze the language usage on cultural heritage information boards in Surabaya. It also explores the communication obstacles that impede tourists from accessing heritage sites. A total of 63 images were selected from a collection of 277 photographs using qualitative descriptive methodologies and photographic techniques. These images effectively depict various landscapes and cultural heritage places. The dataset classified media into categories such as road signs, name signboards, information boards, cultural heritage plaques, and establishment plaques. Indonesian is the dominant language, representing the country's sovereignty, but English is used for international tourists. The historical identity of Surabaya is represented by Dutch, Japanese, and Latin influences. Although the language environment is favorable, there are still difficulties in tourism communication due to insufficient information, unreadable text, and media that is not easily available at heritage sites. This study highlights the importance of enhancing signpost design to improve tourist experiences and effectively communicate heritage tourism by making use of language variety Indonesia Penelitian ini menerapkan teori lanskap linguistik untuk menganalisis penggunaan bahasa pada papan informasi warisan budaya di Surabaya.
