Abstract

The lack of knowledge held by rural communities and low educational owned makes them difficult to move forward in their efforts to pursue the field fully present namely agriculture, plantations and farms. To that end, this is where the role of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution and Load Control Center Sumatra present to provide assistance to exclude the public from its present state through the CSR program for Community Empowerment in the Field of Environmental Development. The program is known as the Kelompok Usaha Bayar ListrikDenganKotoranSapi (KubaliKopi). This study aims to determine the stage of implementation of CSR programs Kubali coffee and to investigate the impact of the implementation of the program Kubali Coffee on society as a receiver. This study uses qualitative research with descriptive approach which is located at the main office and the Load Distribution Center Sumatra (P3BS) at Jl. Nangka Edge, Kel. Anchoring the New West, district.Sekaki umbrella, Pekanbaru. This research was also carried out at the company's operations, In the village of TanjungLurah, Salimpaungsubdistrict, Tanah Datar Distict, West Sumatra Province. Starting from August to December 2016. The research subjects were 9 people. With the implementation of the research object KubaliKopiCSR program Perusahaan Penyaluran Dan PusatPengaturBeban Sumatera (P3BS). Data collection technique used, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique using descriptive qualitative data analysis according to Huberman and Miles.For technical data validity checking using an extension of participation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate public relations P3BS perform several stages in implementing CSR program Kubali Coffee are: First preceded by gathering facts. The facts collected in the form of data and information that will be processed, so diperolehlah a result. Second, formulating the problem, at this stage PR formulated three issues on the interpretation of the facts that have been collected are: One, How to change the mindset and habits of people to switch to using compost. Two, how to manage livestock manure which is owned by the public as compost.Three, How to develop alternative energy with the use of manure as a bio-gas power, amid the current energy crisis.Third, followed by planning and programming. At this stage PR required to plan an activity to answer the third formulation of the problem, ie, with activities including: socialization, development of facilities and infrastructure compost processing and infrastructure for the processing of bio-gas power. Fourth, action and communication, at this stage PR began to implement the activities. Fifth, the stage ditutp with FGD (Focus Group Discussion) to find out the results of the program viewed from three aspects, Environmental, Economic and Social Affairs.

Abstract

Ulayat land is a community land area with certain costomary law in a regional. The boundaries of an ulayat land are usually determined by valleys, rivers or creecks, certain plants (coconut trees, betel nuts, bamboo clumps etc), hills or hillsides, mortars (traditional rice or grain). This ulayat land is recognized in costumary law. Minangkabau area consists of many nagari. Nagari is a legal community unity that has the boundaries of the territory authorized to regulate and manage the interests of local communities, based on origin and customs that are recognized and respected in a the system of government of the unitary state of the Indonesian Repiblic.West sumatra is famous for its various tribes in the village, this nagari is an autonomous region with the highest power in Minangkabau, no other social and political power can interfere with adat in a nagari. One of which is the piliang soni tribe in the village of Tanjung Tangah, nagari (kelurahan) og Tanjung Bonai, sub-district of Lintau Buo north of flat land district having different Pusako land. Abstract

Objectives of the study are to analyze the communications strategy based religious tourism in increasing the number of tourist visits by the Board of Mosque Management Grand Mosque of Rokan Hulu Center. In addition, this study also wants to know the strategy communicators, audience strategies, messaging strategies, media strategies and effects arising from communication strategies used by the Management Agency. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive study. Technique of collecting data from this research through interview, observation, and documentation. Communication Strategy Management Agency in increasing the number of tourist visits at the Great Mosque Islamic Center Rokan Hulu good enough. Implementation of communication strategy Management Board communicators have credibility, knowledge, and experience, khalayakan target is the community and the group with the message conveyed the message informative and persuasive. The governing body uses several mass media such as television, radio, billboards and others. The effect of this communication strategy is the improvement and reduction of tourism based on the satisfaction of visitors to the Board of Mosque Management Grand Mosque of Rokan Hulu Center. Abstract

UEK-SP is a micro finance institution funded by local government and operated in Kelurahan (subsector) of Maharatu has been established for 6 years ago, though some people in Kelurahan Mahararatu still not familiar with the existing of UEK-SP as micro finance institution, which is serves as financial institution in order to assist people for their businees in this area. The management of UEK-SP should responsible for sosializing their existance to the community. The aim of this research to investigate the role of UEK-SP management in sosializing their existance as financial institution and to understand the media used by them in communicating to the community.Quantitative descriptive method was used in this research to see the reality in the field thru observation, interview and documentation. The research was conducted in UEK-SP Maharatu Jaya Kelurahan Maharatu Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai from June 2013 to Nopember 2013. Data was obtained from 10 of informen as source of information. Data was analysed using interactive analysis method with data validation technique dan data tranqualation.The result of this research shows the role of UEK-SP management in sosializing the institution to community thru 3 stages of process, i.e. introduction stage, which is the management of UEK-SP doing sosialization as early stage of sosialization process. At this stage, they introduced to sociaty regarding to UEK-SP as financcial institution and benefit of its existance to community of Kelurahan Maharatu and the differences the institution to cooperative institution. The second stage is persuation, where the management of UEK-SP doing further socialization in order to persuade the people of community of Kelurahan Maharatu to be a member of the institution. At this stage they used printed media, such as booklet to distribute information regarding the institution, and the objectives of the program. The third stage, they used information board which is available at UEK-SP office to inform to the community regarding to activities and financial report of the institution. Besides, the information is also spreading thru spread of mouth.Keyword: Communication, socialization, and role

Abstract

Dengue fever is a disease that is endemic in society, especially when it's the rainy season. The problem of dengue fever in the city of Pekanbaru, can not be prevented only by an appeal of the government alone, but to the awareness of the public of Pekanbaru will be the prevention of dengue fever. Pekanbaru City Health Department take steps to prevent dengue by means mempersuasif people to understand what actions should be taken to prevent dengue fever. This study aims to find a persuasive approach, messages and media used by the City Health Office Pekanbaru. In dengue prevention efforts for people in the city of Pekanbaru.This study uses descriptive qualitative research. Informants consisted of eight people who is the Head, Employee Health Office Pekanbaru, people who are victims in an area where there are many victims of dengue fever in the city of Pekanbaru by using purposive sampling technique. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, researchers used an extension extension of participation.The results showed that the City Health Office Pekanbaru use a persuasive approach to using the media to convey the prevention of dengue fever, the nature of the persuader targeted with indirect communication to the public but is expected to be delivered the message in the prevention of dengue fever, and the approach of psychosocial form approach bulk order can be persuasive on the whole community in the city of Pekanbaru. Persuasive message Pekanbaru City Health Department is using verbal messages include clarity, candor, and the precision and nonverbal messages in the form of an implied message through state of the number of victims, the statistical increase in the number of victims and the environment around the residence. Pekanbaru City Health Department to use the mass media for the first mempersuasif with print and online media, with newspapers and websites such as newspaper stands, riaupos and website stands between nasional.Dan pekanbaru and also through the use of electronic media such as radio and television fress, RRI, Persada as well as talk shows and the fm fress RTV.Keywords : Communication persuasive, dengue fever, Pekanbaru City Health Department, public

Abstract

Frontliner communication role in the bank institution is very important. Basicly, frontliner task is to give customer an information clearly. That’s why ability of frontliner communication is very expected on this process. The purpose of this research are to know how frontliner communication role in creating customer satisfaction of information and what factors that would be the causing of creating customer satisfaction of information.This research using qualitative descriptive research method. The research is done in the company opened bank Riau Kepri Syariah branch Pekanbaru, Subject of this research are frontliner and customers. The research using purposive sampling approach to frontliner and accidental sampling to customers. Kind and data resource used are primary data and secondary data, data collecting technique used are observation, interview and documentations. Data analys technique used is Huberman and Miles interactive model, and technical examination of the validity of data used are triangulation and extension participation.The research of result showing that frontliner communication role is highly important in creating customer satisfaction of information. Point of frontliner role are as a people that analizing necessary and customer’s problem, as an information resource to customer, fullffill all the necessary of information that customer need based on prosedures applicable in the bank, and develop good relationship with the customer. Beside communication role, there are factors that give the influence to create customer satisfaction of information on the company opened Bank Riau Kepri Branch Syariah Pekanbaru, such as quality of human resources, fluent communication in any aspect, fast service kind and comfort, easyness on getting informations and also master of information about banking products.Keyword: Communication, Communication Role, and Satisfaction of Information

Abstract

Social media instagram is a new media that is currently in great demand by the people of Indonesia. @awkarin’s Social media Instagram as one of the accounts deemed viral and followed by millions of teenagers in Indonesia can affect the activities, interests, opinions, and lifestyle of its users. Hedonis lifestyle is a lifestyle whose activities to seek pleasure of life, such as spending more time outdoors, playing more, happy in the city crowd, happy to buy the expensive goods that he likes, and always want to be the center of attention. The purpose of this study is to find out theu influence of @awkarin’s social media instagram against hedonic lifestyle among adolescent followers by using S-O-R theory as the foundation. This research uses quantitative research method with explanation approach. This research was conducted by sending questionnaires to @awkarin’s social media instagram followers through online. Respondents in this research are 100 people who follow social media instagram @awkarin and the category is determined based on random sampling. Data collection is obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that influential @awkarin’s Social Media Instagram against hedonic lifestyle among adolescent followers. Proved by the value of regression coefficient in this study is Y = 4,043 + 0.695X. the constant number of 4,043 and the coefficient of social media value variable is 0.695. meanwhile t count 4.043 bigger when compared with t table equal to 1667, with level significance 0.000 smaller than α = 0,05. Based on the table "Model Summary" shows that the value of R = 0.543 and the coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is 0.294. This figure indicates that the contribution of social media variable @Awkarin’s instagram to visiting followers interest is 29.40%. @Awkarin’s Social media instagram influences the Hedon lifestyle among adolescent followers, and the magnitude of influence with the "low" category.Keywords: Influence, Social Media, Hedonis Lifestyle

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V is a state-owned company, a company that grows and develops in a society will always face pressure, both of which come from outside the company or from within the company itself. The rapid advancement of information technology applied in the world of mass media and competition in the industry business press, mass media demanded Public Relations of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V to be able to follow the development is happening especially concerning the issue of the company itself. The field of Public Relations of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V tasked to perform the functions of public relations through the management and delivery of news or information and cooperation with the mass media in creating positive public opinion. The aim of this study was to determine the Public Relations PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru in managing relations with the mass media, to find out Public Relations PT. Perkebuan Nusantara V Pekanbaru in developing a strategy with the media and to learn Public Relations PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru in developing a network with the media.This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were based on the fact the field through observations, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study amounted to 7 people. In conducting the data analysis performed data reduction as sharpening process, classify, direct, dispose of unnecessary, and organize data in a way such that it can be deduced and verified. for checking the validity of the data the researchers used a technique extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru in managing relationships do know well how the existing media both print and online, making media such as family, giving an expression of sympathy, understanding each other's needs. In developing the strategy with the media PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru cooperate in such activities, Advertising in mass media, press releases, press conferences, press tours and press gathering, event (activities). Such activities undertaken to achieve as much positive publicity.

Abstract

Frontliner interpersonal communication is very important in the service and information to customers of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Panam. The presence, these interpersonal communication, Frontliner and customers can find out how to establish a good relationship with each other. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective interpersonal communication Frontliner serve and provide information to customers, as well as to identify factors that affect interpersonal communication Frontliner in serving and providing information to customers of PT. PLN (Persero) Pekanbaru Panam Rayon.The research was conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) Pekanbaru Panam Rayon, which is located at Jalan HR. Soebrantas Pekanbaru. This research using qualitative research methods. Informants in this study is 15 people. Where 6 people frontliner using purposive technique and 5 customers, using accidental. Techniques of data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction data presentation, conclusion and verification.The results showed that the effectiveness of interpersonal communication components frontline in serving and providing information to customers must be effective, because the frontliner should be able to be a communicator has high credibility and has the appeal so as to convey the message or information directly or indirectly (media), and can understood by the communicant (customers) so get the effect of what is being implemented in the frontline to serve and provide information to customers. Factors that affect interpersonal communication frontliner in serving and providing information to customers including the trust factor, factor supportiveness and openness factors. The trust factor where customers lack confidence with what is provided by the front liners, and factors supportiveness which is not supportive of the PLN in serving and providing information to customers. While the openness factor, frontliner has been open to the problems experienced by PT PLN.Keywords : Interpersonal Communication, frontliner, customers

Abstract

Along with the erosion of indigenous culture and music as calempong Kampar Riau Province, causing some of the music group's desire to exhume and promote it, such as one conducted Riau Indonesia Rhtym Chambers. Chambers Rhtym Riau Indonesia stood on June 17, 2001, with a 9 personnel. Chambers rhtym Riau Indonesia heavily promoting calempong Kampar with packaged with the album "Sound of Svarnadvipa" containing material calempong Kampar. Therefore, this study aims to determine the Communication Strategy Rhtym Chambers Riau Indonesia In Promoting Calempong Kampar in Riau Province. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, with the selection of informants using purposive, consisting of one chairman and composers Riau Rhtym Chambers Indonesia, the personnel, 2 Management team Riau Rhtym Chambers premises and 2 music fans Riau Rhtym Chambers Indonesia and society general who has been following the development of Riau Indonesia Rhtym Chambers. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. For the data analysis, refer to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. For checking the validity of the data using the extension of participation and triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate Riau Indonesia Rhtym Chambers, the first in the strategy of targeting the audience by finding out who the target in order to establish an appropriate message. Second, in the delivery of this message Rhtym Chambers Riau Indonesia always carry cultural messages to the preservation and development of native culture Riau province that is based on direct observation of the obvious originality. Third, in determining methods Rhtym Chambers Riau Indonesia not only promotes well as providing information, education and to persuade the general public to Calempong Kampar. Fourth, Riau Indonesia Rhtym Chambers also use social media (instagram, twitter, facebook, youtube and I-Tunes), print media (newspapers) in order to promote calempong Kampar.
