Abstract

Interpersonal communication between employees will determine the quality of work of employees and is the key to the success of employee performance. Employees of the Public Relations Division of PT Pekebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru have very close relations and family relationships. Communication that takes place harmoniously and openly, but with this, misunderstandings on public relations employees still occur so that it has an impact on the quality of work of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkbunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. The theory used in this study is the theory of social penetration and the concept of Devito. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between employees in improving the quality of work, openness among employees in improving the quality of work, empathy among employees in improving work quality, supportive attitude among employees in improving work quality, positive attitude among employees in improving work quality, and equality among employees in improving the quality of work of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research. Determination of informants using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman analysis models for the validity of data checking techniques using data source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that, interpersonal communication between employees of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru runs well in improving the quality of work of the Public Relations Division of PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Pekanbaru. Relations between employees are harmonious and kinship, openness between employees in two forms, namely job openness and family openness, empathy among employees is to feel what employees feel, pay attention to fellow employees, high level of care, respect for employee work, supportive attitude between employees and forms of motivation, unselfish employees, collaboration between employees, positive attitudes among employees respecting employees, positive thinking among employees, believing in the importance of fellow employees and equality between employees equal position, familiar atmosphere of communication, and knowing the quality of work of employee. Keywords :  Employees, Interpersonal Communication, Quality of Work

Abstract

The attractions of the Taman Hutan akyat (TAHURA) will have no meaning without socialization, because socialization is the most important thing that must be done in order to convey messages or information to the public. According o the data from 2014-2017 the visitors to the Tahura Sultan Syarif Hasyim, experienced an increase in visits, but in 2018 there was a very drastic decline, which is very important to consider by conducting socialization. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of determining the communicator, the strategy of determining the audience, the strategy of determining the message and the choice of communication media strategy carried out by the KPHP UPT Tahura Minas of Riau Forestry Office in socializing the Taman Hutan Rakyat Sultan Syarif Hasyim as a tourism objects. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The informants of this study were 8 people who were selected using the key person method. Types and sources of data consist of primary data and secondary data. The technique of collecting data is done by observing, interviewing and documenting. Data analysis techniques used Huberman and Miles Model data analysis, and data validity checking techniques were carried out by extending participation, triangulation and membership checking. The results of this study indicate that the strategy to determine communicators is by placing communicators who have credibility and knowledge of Tahura the Sultan Syarif Hasyim Forest Park as an attraction object as a whole. The strategy to determine the audience is the general public i.e. student, college student and local society. The strategy for determining messages is to emphasize the core message, and organize the message and message content is persuasive an informative. The media selection strategy is to use print media: i.e. newspapers, brochures and banners, and online media.

Abstract

The existence of the internet has influenced major changes in the patterns of communication. Presence Cyber Extension aims to develop a web-based agricultural information system remains effective, timely , targeted and changing communication patterns bring a change of direction of becoming a two-way communication .The purpose of this study to determine how the message flow in the use Cyber Extension , to determine the form of communication to use Cyber Extension and determine the factors supporting and inhibiting communication pattern educator to use Cyber Extension .This research used qualitative method with descriptive approach. The data collected by doing observation, interview, and documentation. There are 10 participants taken by purposive technique for this research. This research used the interactive data analysis from Miles and Hubermen by using examination of validity technique thorough the extension of membership and triangulation.The results of research show communication pattern instructor use of Cyber Extension is the message flow two way, where the two-way communication can also be done with upward communication , downward communication and communication diagonal . This form of communication to use Cyber Extension extension is done by direct communication is discussed and plunge into a field instructor and indirect communication is by using the internet Cyber Extension . Factors supporting the extension of the use of communications Cyber Extension is the availability of information on Cyber Extension and inhibiting tissue factor and lack of willingness to take advantage of Cyber Extension educator.Keyword : Communication Pattern , Communication Instructor, Cyber Extension.

Abstract

Since the development of stand-up comedy in Indonesia makes the emergence of a community of lovers of stand up comedy which is divided in various regions in Indonesia, including the city of Pekanbaru. In the city of Pekanbaru own community stand up comedyberdiri in november of 2011, which at its inception consisted of only 9 people. Until now has 31 active members in the community that was named Stand Up Indo this PKU. Performers stand up comedy is usually called the comic. In each appearance, comic-comic usually has its own techniques and style in presenting the material stand-up comedy has. Therefore, this study aims to determine the communication style comic community Stand Up Indo PKU Pekanbaru.This study uses qualitative descriptive study, with the selection of informants using purposive, consisting of one internal chairman, and three members of Stand Up Indo PKU community. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. For the data analysis, refer to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. And for checking the validity of the data using the extension of participation and triangulation techniques.The results of this study indicate stand up comedy techniques used by comic Stand Up Indo PKU community vary. Among them riffing techniques, act out, rule of three, one-liner and roasting. But among some of these techniques, riffing technique is a technique that is always sung comic-comic Stand Up Indo PKU community at the time of his appearance. Furthermore, the community developed communication styles Stand Up Indo PKU include dramatic or dramatic style style, style of animation or animated style and memorable style or style impression

Abstract

HIV ( Human Imunodeficiensi Virus) [is] virus cause of AIDS. There are in its body dilution [of] him like blood, sperma, or vagina dilution. Pengidap HIV will see healthy until HIV become AIDS during 5-10 year later;then. Although see healthyly [is] they earn catching with HIV [at] others. AIDS ( Aquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) or downhill sindroma [it] impenetrability of caused [by] body [is] HIV so that body cannot fight disease. To depress case number of HIV and of AIDS this [is] needed [by] a[n way of prevention of its infection. One of [the] institute which care to prevention of HIV and of AIDS this [is] Especial Institution. Especial Institution [is] one of [the] LSM which care to health of society especially in case of HIV. this Especial Institution have stood since year 1993 and have vision that is the increasing of prosperity of life and health of society specially marginal society and rentan [in] province of Riau year 2025.Research use descriptive method qualitative pursuant to source of primary data and of sekunder and use technique data collecting of observation, documentation and interview, with determination of informan [pass/through] sampling of purposif counted ten one who compose five people of Especial institution that is Institution chief of Utama,Sekretaris and 3 people of staff Especial Institution [of] Pekanbaru and five people of outside party that is housewife, woman of tunasusila, cab driver, student and student. Abstract

Crisis can be minimized with good crisis management from company management. Crisis management is one aspect that must be prepared and owned by the company to face a crisis that is usually unexpected or sudden, such as the crisis experienced by PT. Pertamina RU II Dumai is the company's exploding refinery that also disturbs the community and repeated and unpredictable since 2001, 2009, 2014 and 2017. Crisis management will succeed if supported by a good strategy from the company so that can maintain the company’s image. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the steps of crisis management and crisis management strategies undertaken division Hupmas PT. Pertamina Refinery Unit II Dumai.The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interview techniques and documentation with six informants selected using purposive techniques. In this study the researcher uses grounded research methods or Miles and Huberman models for data analysis that is through the data reduction flow, data presentation and conclusion. To test the validity of the data obtained, the researchers used the triangulation technique.The results of this research Hupmas crisis management PT. Pertamina Refinery Unit II Dumai has been good through five steps: identification, analysis, isolation, choosing strategy and implementation of crisis control and responsible to society through ongoing social responsibility. The step is supported by the existing strategy is to determine the potential crisis of the company that is refineries that can not function properly; identify affected audiences ie companies, communities, and local governments; as well as having the procedure followed.Keywords: PT. Abstract

Damaged forests can cause disasters such as floods and landslides. This also happens in one region of Indonesia, Meranti Islands district have also suffered damage from natural disasters or human activity itself, forest destruction worst that happened in the district of Meranti namely mangrove forests, where the destruction of mangrove forests could impact beach abrasion. The purpose of this study was to determine how the Department of Forestry and Plantation Meranti Islands regency in running communication strategy in the program implementation mangrove forest and land rehabilitation.In this study the authors used a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques are grouped through observation, interviews and documentation. The informant in this research were six people who were taken by purposive sampling techniques, ie 5 civil servants and 1 community. Interactive data analysis type the researchers use to describe the results of research into techniques for data analysis and data validity checking researcher using triangulation techniques.The results in which the communication strategy is executed in accordance with the steps of planning strategies, ie; to identify their communication, communication media selection and assessment destination of the message. From interviews and observations of researchers got field indicates that the Department of Forestry and Plantation Regency Meranti has been doing business in recognizing the target of communication, working with some of the media, both print and electronic media as well as services to create and examine the messages to be conveyed to the public related program mangrove forest and land rehabilitation.Keyword: Communication strategy, Foresty and Plantation Service Meranti Island, Mangrove.

Abstract

Counselling Agency for Development and Preservation Agency Marriage is engaged in the field of marriage counseling and divorce rate reduction program in order to support the Department of Religion. Many couples who come to resolve domestic problems. Proven during 2013, Development and Preservation Advisory Board Marital received about 100 reports of married couples who want to resolve the problem. Among the 30 couples report the problem to continue the Islamic Court. The purpose of this study was to determine how the process of persuasive communication and persuasive communication techniques used in the Advisory Board of the Development and Preservation of Marriage. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. This study was carried out in the Development and Preservation Advisory Board Marriage Pekanbaru. The object of this research that Persuasive Communication Advisory Board Development and Preservation of Marriage (BP4) in couples seeking divorce in Pekanbaru with research subjects who meet the research needs of as many as three people consisting of Staff Development and Preservation Advisory Board marriage and couples. The study lasted for seven months ie from September 2014 until March 2015. The results showed that the process of persuasive communication Development and Preservation Advisory Board marriage on couples who want to divorce them see the persuader. Persuader have an understanding of marriage according to Islam. The media used by the persuader face-to-face and mediated namely using a mobile phone. Effect happens to persuade accordance with what is expected persuader that couples get solutions and do not lead to a divorce. Although the pair remains divorced, it is the best solution for each partner. Persuasive Communication Process Development and Preservation Advisory Board Marital use persuasive communication techniques to convey a message. The message is based on jurisprudence munakahat or marriage according to Islamic law. Abstract

 Ladies Companion workers was an profession that is happening at Pekanbaru. Ladies Companion workers identic with sexy outfit and considered as one of deviate work. Based on mottive, meaning and communication experience of ladies companion workers explain how they work. Purpose of this research is to known their mottive, self meaning and how their communication experience when they do their work.This research using qualitative method with phenomenology approach. The informan consisted of 5 people as ladies companion workers using snowball sampling thecnique. Data collection using observation participant, deep interview and documentation. This research using interactive data analisys that include 3 phase which is data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusion.The result of this research shown that their mottive to work as ladies companion is because mottive which is hobbies, broken home, economic factor and life costs. In oreder mottive is to get additional income, looking for better life. Self meaning of this ladies companion that for them this work can help their economic side. Identic with outfit and menor makeup. Ladies companion considered as deviate work. Communication experience their get is pleasure  (positive) and nunpleasure (negative). Pleasure experience which is get some bonus, get complement from their guests, advise to each other. In other side their unpleasure some kind of unpleasure treatment, sexual harrasment and considered as sex workers. After any category that found from ladies companion is Ladies companion and their Mami, as a stage for ladies companion workers.

Abstract

Crisis management strategy is one of the tasks when the company's public relations practitioners in crisis. Public relations strategy must be used by public relations to solve the problems being faced by an organization or institution. The emergence of negative news through the mass media both print and electronic media about the PTPN-V related conflicts between company and society can provide negative public reaction to the company in response to the media coverage. Therefore company needs crisis management strategy to resolve the conflict. This research aims to determine the public relations strategy of PTPN-V in identifying the issues that caused the crisis, to find out the public relations strategy of PTPN-V in mapping the needs of journalists, and to find out the public relations strategy of PTPN-V in preparing information for the management of related conflicts between company and society.The research method that was chosen in this study is a qualitative method to explain the phenomena that occur in accordance with the results was obtained by defining five (5) subjects research through purposive sampling and the object of this study is the crisis management strategy PTPN-V-related conflicts between companies and societyand the data is based on information obtained through observation and interviews as well as maximize the documentation method to collect data. Technical analysis of the data that was used is model of interactive data with data validity checking is done by using the extension of participation and triangulation techniques.The results showed that the crisis related to the conflict between the company and society can be solved well. Publicist of PTPN-V identifying the issues that led to the crisis by deepening the data and facts and then made the press conference and gave a press release to the media. Crisis management strategy of public relation PTPN-V focused to the media in resolving the conflict with fourth phases namely, a phase of crisis management preparation, response, recovery, and mitigation. Information that was given to the management about a contingency plan public relation of PTPN-V in working during the crisis is to focus on the mass media and execute media relations then make an evaluation for following-up.Keyword: PTPN-V, Conflict, Crisis Management Strategy, Public Relations Strategy
