Abstract

Kampung Iklim’s program is the national program developed by the Ministry of Environment to encourage the active participation of the community and all the parties in implementing local action. The action to increase the resilience to climate hange and redution of green house gas emissions. Through the implementation of this program, the government rewards the communities in specific locations which are already implementing mitigation and adaption to climate change sustainably. In execute Kampung Iklim’s program, the environment ambassador using persuasive communication to those public by way of encouragement and the example in implementing eco-friendly lifestyle. This research aims to determine the credibility of the persuader, persuasive message and the effets produed by the environment ambassador in promoting eco friendly lifestyle.This researh using qualitative research method with descriptive approah. The subject of this research was choosing by purposive technique who consist of BLH, environment ambassador, society who are joined in climate village. Data was collected through interview, observation and documentation. Data was analyst using interative model of Miles and Huberman. To achieve the validity of the data in this study, researcher used the triangulation technique.The tehnique showed that environmental ambassador have credibility as communiator that is expetness in a way socialization and have knowledge about the environment and trust worthiness that is environmental ambassador apply eco-friendly lifestyle. A persuasive message used consists of verbal message, include clarity, directness, and auray. While nonverbal message with give example eco-friendly lifestyle like bring a tumblr and use handkerchief and utilization seondhand like used beverage bottles and old paint bucket into flower pot and water media for hydroponic. The resulting efffect, first is an inrease, knowledge, comprehension and awareness on people’s self about environment of information provided by environmental ambassador. Second, eonomic that is sense of public concern felt by citizen. Third, culture that is action which is conducted by citizen for eco-friendly lifestyle.Keyword: Environment Ambassador, Eco-Friendly Lifestyle, Kampung Iklim.

Abstract

Go Green and Global Warming are two word expression often heard in the last several years. Global warming is the effect which is caused by the inability of the atmosphere in accomodating various kinds of gases thrown up by the earth. Because of that, a company has a responsibility taking care of environment through socializing plantings or it is wellknown as Go Green. One of the company concerns about the environment is through the activity of Go Green campaign. In doing socialization, PR Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper (IKPP) company tried to approach emplyoyees, particularly those who handled employee problems. By applying this strategy, PR could understand the condition directly from the employees, looking at the problems from different points of view so that socialization could run well. This research aimed to look at employee relation approach used by PR Indah KIat Pulp and Paper company in socializing Go Green program at the internal company.This is a descriptive qualitative research. The object of the research was the strategy of employee relations at IKPP company. The researcher used purposive sampling technique to decide the subjects of the research i.e. all informants that fulfilled the research needs. They consisted of 9 persons with key informant the Chief of Public Relation Division Bureau of IKPP company together with the staffs. The techniques used to collect the data were deep observation, interview and documentation.The result of the research was that the socialisation of Go Green program was the strategy planned to show the company concern about the environment through plantation activities which were environmentally friendly. In doing socialization, PR used employee relation approach by applying employee communications strategy, i.e having good communication and interacting each other with employees, employee attitude surveys which functioned as a control and gave evaluation about employee performance, employee counseling which provided consultation and information services needed by employees, and profit sharing as remuneration on the contribution given by employees toward the company. There were also some constraints in applying those strategies, ie. the dense of employee working hours causing limited appropriate time to socialize Go Green program better.Key Words: Employee Relation Approach, „Go Green‟ Program

Abstract

Community Engangement from about CSR, As one of strategy to increase corporate image is to set up and carry out CSR program are on target. PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia as one of the companies active in the field of oil and gas trying to realize it with focus to carry out CSR program in several operational areas. This research aim to find out how CSR program in the run PT Chevron, and knowing the constrainsts of PT.Chevron in carrying that CE programs. This research used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted at PGPA PT.Chevron distric in duri. With the object of research is the CE program PT. Chevron. And research subject which team manager of Policy Goverment and Public Affair (PGPA) and sakai community’s both internally and externally through pruposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this research is observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that run the company’s CE program in several aspecys of life. That is economic,education and then health is related to the role of Public Relations and CSR Officer.CE Program that run the company are prepared in accordance with need and condition of public and the capability of the company itself. By carrying out CE Program as an effort to increase corporate image, PT Chevron Has been able to create good impression on the community and attract public confidence. In carrying program are constraints CE it socializatin between the two parties is considered not maximized evenly in various aspects.

Abstract

Cooperative credit union is a financial institution engaged in the savings and loan owned by its members, and aims for the welfare of its own members. In this case, administrators are those who communicate directly with the members and prospective members. Persuasive communication is done by the cooperative management of the credit unions is the initial approach to potential members with a personal persuasive communication, as well as the confidence of the members to cooperative credit union. This study aims to determine how persuasive communication strategy cooperative management of credit union in increasing the number of members and the cooperative management model of persuasive communication in increasing the number of credit union members.This research used qualitative methods with descriptive approach. This research was done in cooperative credit union on Raya Kasikan Village Sub-District Tapung Hulu Kampar District. There are 17 participants were taken through a purposive sampling technique and snowball sampling technique. Types and sources of data obtained through the primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done with observation to participants, interviews and documentation. This research uses interactive data analysis miles and huberman with an examination of the validity of the data is done through the extension of participation and triangulation.The results of this study indicate that the communication strategies used persuasive cooperative management of credit union in increasing the number of members is by using psychodynamic strategy is administrators taking cognitive approach through education provided to members and prospective members of cooperative credit union, sociocultural strategy is the influence of the environment that makes prospective members would become members in the cooperative credit union, the meaning construction strategy is administrators give a parable to motivate members, and comparasion strategy is administrators gives a comparasion between the cooperative credit union with others financial institutions. Abstract

Rampant divorce cases in marriage. Many reasons underlying the decision of divorce be one way out of the settlement of the problems faced. Moreover, in the marriage relationship where the husband and wife both work, and when the wife's income is greater than her husband, the conflict will be more frequent. Not infrequently it helped trigger their feelings of discomfort couples. Besides the many cases of divorce marriage more income that led to divorce, not a few couples who maintain a marriage relationship lived remains a lasting and happy. This study aims to reveal different motives income married couples maintain marriage relationship, the meaning of marriage relationship lived and uncover the communication experience different income couples in the city of Pekanbaru.This study uses qualitative research with phenomenological approach. Subjects were 3 couples in the city of Pekanbaru different income categories are determined based on the method of purposive then obtained using the snowball technique. The collection of data obtained through in-depth interviews, observation (observation) and literature.The results of this study indicate that the motive is different income married couples stick with their marital relationship consists of a motive for (Because motive) namely religion, character spouses, children, favors fought together and the principle of marriage. While the motive for (in order to motive) namely households established, lasting and happy, as well as weddings sakinah mawaddah warahmah. Meanings given by married couples, namely on the basis of love and faith in God the almighty One, the belief has been arranged sustenance Allah, arises a sense of pride and gratitude husband to wife and helped the role of husband. As for the communication experience categorized into two: the fun as arises a sense of belonging is high, their attitudes reinforce each other, a good reception from the family and get along with the surrounding environment and the unpleasant experience as wives often feel fatigue play two roles, the husband tends relax with a job, a family and a poor response doubts surrounding environmentKeyword: marriage, husband wife, different level of income, phenomenon of communiacation

Abstract

In the process of animal preservation, some parties have the initiative to create an association or community that protects and conserves animals. This community needs a place for them to socialize and promote animal conservation. Concept Plus Orginizer is Event Organizer which aims to promote animal lovers community in Pekanbaru. This descriptive study used a qualitative approach in which researchers only describe the situations or events without explaining relationships and testing hypotheses or make a prediction. The subject of this study isthe leader and employees of Concept Plus Orginizer, community members, animal lovers, and the general public in Pekanbaru selected using purposive sampling. The object of this study is the communication strategy used by Concept Plus Organizer in sosializing the existence of community of animal lovers in Pekanbaru. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the audience analysis conducted by Concept Plus effect on the amount of communities registered and the audience attended. Concept Plus uses persuasive communication process in attracting community of animal lovers in Pekanbaru. Messaging strategies used by Concept Plus are printing and electronic media showing quite effective results at attracting public to participate in their community events they organized. Redundancy methods, by influencing the public by repeating the message to the audience, and the method of persuasion, by persuading the community of animal lovers with frequent communication and discussion are also used by Concept Plus to improve the existence of a community of animal lovers in Pekanbaru. Abstract

The number of tanah ulayat disputes in Kampar Regency specially in the Pulau Jambu village. Sub-district Kuok has brought negative impact to the community. Settlement efforts under taken by Ninik-Mamak as tribal elders in governing customary land has been through mediation with the parties, with the involvement of other tribal Ninik-Mamak, empat jini (Tuo Kampuong, Dubalang, Malin and scholars), the Village Head, religious leaders and children's nephew. In the mediation course there are communication processes, techniques and strategies given by a mediator (ninik-Mamak) in order to achieve mediation. This study aims to determine how the mediation process conducted by Ninik-Mamak in dispute resolution tanah ulayat in the District of Kampar sub-district Kuok and investigate the factors that influence the process of dispute resolution mediation tanah ulayat by ninik-Mamak.This study uses qualitative descriptive approach, the data collected with observation, interview and documentation. The data have been acquired and processed to be reduced and presented in order to obtain a general conclusion. This research was conducted in the Pulau Jambu village, district Kampar, Sub-district Kuok. With the object of research is mediation in the settlement of tanah ulayat disputes by ninik-Mamak in the Pulau Jambu village, district Kampar, Sub-district Kuok. Subjects in this study amounted to10 people based on purposive method. As for the validity of the data examine researchers using participatory extension techniques and triangulation.The results showed that the mediation process conducted by Ninik-Mamak using the facilitation model. Before the mediation process, Ninik-Mamak in resolving disputes of tanah ulayat begins with the steps that must be done that is a complaint, the calling party to the dispute, calling witnesses, reviewing or identifying interests. While the mediation process is the opening by a mediator, finding common ground, identify options of the parties, the determination of which option is selected, and the deal. In addition, factors that used effects the mediation process there are two other factors that influence the success of mediation is the motivation and competence of mediators while the factors that influence the success of mediation is not a lack of understanding of customary law, lack of government support and the absence of a witness history.Keyword: Communication, Mediationt, Resolve Disputes and Tanah Ulayat

Abstract

When the Ciputra Seraya Pekanbaru Mall got crisisses that are related to the accidents successively in 2012 and the issuesregarding of employees who resigned because of inconvenience to the company, the image of Ciputra Mall remains good even thus increased. Therefore, this research was conducted with the purposes are :to understand the roles and functions of public relations of Ciputra Seraya Pekanbaru Mall as one of the efforts to increase its image, to find out the activities of public relations of Ciputra Seraya Pekanbaru Mall in improving the image of the company and to detect the supporting and restricting factors of public relations activities of Ciputra Seraya Pekanbaru Mall as an attempt to improve the image ofthe company.The researcher used qualitative descriptive research method and collect the data by observation, interview and documentation toward objects of this research. In this case, they are public relation activities of Ciputra Seraya Pekanbaru Mall in improving the image of the company. The total of sample in this research is eleven informants who were selected trough purposive sampling and accidental sampling technique. The types of data in this research in the followings: (a) primary data that is the results of interview and observation; (b) secondary data which is formed as files from the company related to this research.This researchshowed thatthe roles of public relations Ciputra Mall are becoming technicians and managers, and its functions are as a communicator, relationship, backed up management, and good image maker. The activities of public relations Ciputra Mall are the internal relations, external relations, relationship marketing, media relations, promotion and special events, publicity, sponsorship, crisisses and issues management, and community relations. The implementation of public relations activities Ciputra Mall are supported by a good management, utilizing the development of science and technology (social media), creative and innovative human resources. Abstract

Bangkit Pengusaha Muslim Community Sharia-based are present to assist the government in communicating halal products to UMKM in the city of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this community is to help the people, especially those in Pekanbaru, so that their business is in accordance with Islamic law. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of communication of Bangkit Pengusaha Muslim Community in socializing halal products to UMKM (culinary) in the city of Pekanbaru as seen from the role of communication and obstacles while socializing halal products.In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study amounted to four people, consisting of the Founder of  Bangkit Pengusaha Muslim (BPM), a Member of BPM, two UMKM Partners of Muslim culinary products in the Pekanbaru city. While the object of this research is the role of communication of the Bangkit Pengusaha Muslim Community in disseminating halal products to micro and small businesses in the Pekanbaru city. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using an interactive data analysis model. In achieving data validity in this study, the authors used an extension of participation and triangulation.The results showed that the communication role of the Bangkit Pengusaha Muslim Community (BPM) had two roles in socializing halal products to UMKM, namely as an information center where the Bangkit Pengusaha Muslim Community (BPM) became a gathering place for Muslim entrepreneurs to unite and develop together by providing useful information for the development of businesses owned by Muslim entrepreneurs. One of the information shared by the BPM community is information about halal products. And as a companion where providing input and direction to the UMKM. Inputs and direction given by the BPM community aims to ensure that UMKM always maintain the production of halal and toyiban marketing in accordance with Islamic law. Meanwhile the obstacles that occur in socializing halal products in the form of media barriers and material obstacles in production.Keywords : role of comunication, Community, halal product.

Abstract

Way of dressed of men and women isno longer paying attention to ethics in the dressing.On men more delighted by imitate the outside culture, such as wearing torn long pants, wear boxer (shortpants) when gatheredortravelling, and leotardsclothes that show the posture of men body. While in the women should dress closes the nakedness, but most women have forgotten by the norm in dress, which they wear clothes that show their body or transparent dress. The flurry of parents in employment, as well as parents do not teach children to use Malay clothing in accordance with the values of Malay culture, making the child, adolescent or adult use clothing in accordance with the tastes and cultural influences from the outside. This research aims to know the pattern of family communication in instilling way of malay dress in Peranap Villageand factors that affect family communication patternin instilling way of malay dress in Peranap Village.This research used descriptive analysis with qualitative research and retrieval using a purposive sampling.Number of informantwas four with data collection techniques namely observation, interview and documentation. As for the legitimate examination of technique of data, researchers using the technique of prolongation of participation. The data obtained was processed to the reduction, served up to togenerated a general conclusion.The result of this research shows that there are existence of authoritarian communication patternin the pattern of family communication in instilling way of malay dressed in Peranap Village.There is a sense the attitude of resolute, angry, reproving violates, of punishment. Furthermore there is a pattern of communication democracy that freedom, openness and the rules agreed by members of the family. Factors that affect family communication patterns in instilling way of malay dress in Peranap Village namely self-esteem factor that reflects the personal self, authority and does not give rise to defamation or waffle in society. And inability to reveal where not being a statute or an obligation and there are other informants said incompetence revealed in Malay dress became a source of the problem.Keywords: Pattern, Communication, Family, Malay, Culture
