Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0, which was initially introduced in Germany, have brought significant implications for the industrial sector in various countries. One of them is Indonesia, as a country that felt the implications and experienced both positive and negative consequences from this change. To anticipate transformation in the industrial sector, the Ministry of Industry initiated the launch of the Making Indonesia 4.0 program. This program aims to accelerate the adaptation of the industrial ecosystem in Indonesia to the industrial era 4.0 which prioritizes the use of information technology in production and management processes. Apart from that, the Making Indonesia 4.0 program is also directed at intensifying the welfare of the Indonesian people through increasing the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and creating new employment. The study method used is the normative juridical approach, this approach is a scientific study procedure that aims to find the truth based on legal scientific logic from a normative perspective. This study aims to investigate the implications of foreign investment and related regulations for example, Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and Law No. 25 of 2007 concerning Capital Investment, in increasing community welfare through the implementation of the Making Indonesia 4.0 program. The results of this research prove that there is a close relationship between the growth in the amount of foreign investment and the increase in social welfare, especially in terms of the increment in the number of employment opportunities.

Abstract

This classroom action research investigates the application of group counselling using Reality Therapy to address low self-confidence among ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 29 Medan. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through two action-reflection cycles, the intervention involved planning, implementation, observation, and reflective stages. Data were gathered via observations, checklists, field notes, and student reflections, then analysed following Miles and Huberman’s model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that after the Reality Therapy sessions, at least 75% of participants demonstrated significant gains in self-confidence, active classroom participation, and perceived ability to manage academic challenges. Limitations include time constraints for deeper intervention and external factors such as family support. Overall, Reality Therapy in group counselling proved effective in enhancing students’ self-confidence and offers a replicable model for school counselling programs.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendekatan konseling Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) dalam menangani stres akademik pada siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 29 Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan fokus pada siswa yang mengalami stres akibat keyakinan tidak rasional terkait peringkat akademik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Daftar Cek Masalah (DCM), wawancara, dan observasi. Intervensi REBT diterapkan untuk membantu siswa mengenali dan mengubah pikiran irasional menjadi lebih rasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan tingkat stres akademik, peningkatan kesejahteraan emosional, serta motivasi belajar siswa. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa REBT merupakan pendekatan konseling yang efektif untuk mengatasi stres akademik yang muncul akibat tekanan perbandingan prestasi. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan kondisi somnolence (mengantuk) dalam belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 29 Medan yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian  ini berawal dari problematika yang sering dialami oleh siswa yaitu somnolence atau yang lebih dikenal dengan mengantuk, jika prilaku ini tidak segera diatasi maka akan berdampak pada prestasi siswa di sekolah. Jenis penelitian yang digunkan adalah penelitian tindakan bimbingan konseling (PTBK) yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan melalui 2 siklus. Siklus pertama dilakukan dengan 4 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Siklus kedua dilakukan dengan 4 tahapan yang sama yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Dari hasi penelitian PTBK yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus pertama belum terjadi adanya perubahan prilaku terhadap diri siswa sehingga dilanjutkan dengan siklus kedua dan terlihat adanya perubahan prilaku yang terjadi pada diri siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk mengatasi kondisi Somnolence (mengantuk) dalam belajar diperlukannya layanan Konten dengan teknik High Touch dan High Touch pada diri siswa.
