Abstract

This research isconducted to find outthe influence of leadership style and organizational culture partially and simultaneously employees commitment at Sjakhyakirti University of Palembang. Data areobtained from questionnaires. The respondents areall staffs and lecturers at Sjakhyakirti University of Palembang. The results of the research analyzeusing Multiple Linear Regression which Leadership styles and organizational culture havea significant influence to employees commitment also leadership style and organizational culture simultaneously have a significant effect on employees commitment. It is suggested that the leadership of Sjakhyakirti University of Palembangmaintainsa participative and delegative stylesin orderto maintainthe affective commitment of the employees in University of Sjakhyakirti. The leader should pay attention to discipline and employees developmentbecauseit will certainly impact on the sustainability commitment of employees and lecturers in Sjakhyakirti University of Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Effects of Training and Individual Attitudes to Work Motivation of Vocational Education Participants of Lembaga Pendidikan dan Pengembangan Profesi Indonesia (LP3I) branch of Palembang. The research usesPurposive Random Sampling method. Thus, the number of samples in this study are all participants of Vocational Education LP3I BranchofPalembang those are103 people for all majors.Methods of data analysis isMultiple Linear Regression method. The results show that training and individual attitudes significantly influence to the work motivation of Vocational Education Participants LP3I branch of Palembang either partially or simultaneously. In this research, training variable is the most dominant variable affectthe work motivation of Vocational Education Participant LP3I branch of Palembang.

Abstract

Human development is an important part of a series ofprocesses undertaken by a country or region to change for the better future. Human Development Index (HDI) becomesone of the benchmarks in assessing the success of human development. To support human development government must allocate an effective public budget. This study aims to see how the effect of capital expenditure on increasing HDI in Palembang City. The data used is the primary data for the period of 2013-2016. The analysis technique is simple regression analysis of two variables, namely HDI as dependent variable and capital expenditure (lag 1) as independent variable. The result shows that capital expenditure has a significant influence on the increase of HDI.

Abstract

After the employee’s problem inventoried at PT. Metriko, the problems were certainly raised not only from the working environment, with the co-workers, superiors or with the load of work itself. Employee’s attitude is represented with satisfaction and working involvement. This attitude certainly will have an impact and or influence towards the employee’s performance. The purpose of this research is to analyse if a commitment and a employee’s attitude caused an impact towards the employee’s performance. Based on calculation analysed by using simple linear regression with SPSS ver. 22.00, the results are: Satisfaction Coefficient B = 1,541 with p value = 0,000 < 0,05 with determination R2–0,421 (4,21%); Management Commitment Coefficient B = 0,784 with p value 0,000 < 0,05 with determination R2= 0,413 (41,3%); and Employee’s attitude Coefficient B = 1,809 with p value 0,000 < 0,05 with determination R2–0,433 (43,3%). It can be concluded that the hypotheses stated that commitment and employee’s attitude have a positive relation and significant impact towards the employee’s performance.

Abstract

This research is conducted to find out whether these i sor not the effect and realtionship between motivation (x) and employee performance (y) at PT. Bumi Pratama Usaha Jaya In Bayung Lincir. The writer uses statistical method in analysing the data in simple linear regression analysis. Considering the results of validity and reliability test, it is stated that all statement indicators are valid and reliable, from regression analysis states that working satisfaction, commitment and working involvement have positive and significant effect on employee performance. Thus, it can be concluded that working behaviour is very identical with working satisfaction, commitment and working involvement. Their influential relationship is very positive and significan ton employee performance. Therefore, the hypothesis states working satisfaction, commitment and working involvement have positive and significant effect is accepted., this research is not good yet because of the limitation in it. Suffestion for the development of this reserch is not only done in one company but also the charecteristics of the comparison company, then if the researchdone in some different but similar companies will get the right solution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of the relationship between work discipline on employee performance. The population in this study were 120 people and the sample was 92 people. The analysis technique is done by qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this study can be concluded that the relationship between work discipline and employee performance using the product moment correlation analysis tool obtained rxy correlation value of 0.997. When consulted with r table 0.997 it is at 0.80-1,000 which means that the relationship between work discipline and performance is very strong. The influence of work discipline and employee performance using the determination coefficient determination formula obtained a value of 99.4%, meaning that work discipline has an effect of 99.4% on performance. While 0.6% is influenced by other factors not examined. The magnitude of the qualitative analysis of work discipline and employee performance in table 8-16 concerning work discipline questions in table 17-27 about thequestion of employee performance, it is concluded that the work discipline carried out by employees is still not good. Thus it can be concluded that work discipline has a role in improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and leadership style on employee performance of Parking Division PT. Adhi Pratama Perkasa. By using saturated sampling method, the data taken is primary data obtained through a questionnaire instrument. The analytical tool uses multiple linear regressions. Calculation results show that Compensation variable (X1) and Leadership Style variable (X2) have significant effects on employee performance both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment (physical and non-physical) on the performance of employees in the Final Product Export Unitat PT Aneka Bumi Pratama Palembang.The type of data in this studyis primary data collected by the question naire instrument. The sampling techniquein this study uses saturated samples. Multipleregression analysis was used totes tthe hypothesis in this study.Theresults ofthestudy at the 5% significance levelfound that: (1) thephysical workenvironment had no effect on the performance of the employees of the Export Final Productunitat PT. Aneka Bumi Pratama, the data obtained that t count of 2.215 is greater than ttable(n=20,α=5%) of 1.736, the significance valueisgreater than the alpha value (0.324 > 0.05). (2) non-physical work environment doesnot affect the performance of the Export Final Product unit at PT. Aneka Bumi Pratama, the data obtained t hat calculated t2.457 is greater than t table (n =20,α=5%) of the significance valueis greater than alpha (0.654<0.05). (3) Work environment and non-physical work environment variables have no effect on employee performance,obtained data that the significance value of 0.603 is greater than the alphavalue(α)= 0.05(0.603> 0.05). It is suspected that there are other ariables outside the model that have further influence to the performance of the employees of the Export Final Product Unit at PT. Aneka Bumi Pratama Palembang.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine how much influence employee performance appraisal has on promotion at PT.Patra Jasa Palembang City. This study used a survey method (questionnaire). the sample in this study amounted to 30 people. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test for the job performance appraisal variable (X) for promotion (Y), a correlation coefficient value of 0.745 was obtained and based on the guidelines for interpreting the correlation coefficient, it was included in the strong category. This means that the work performance appraisal variable has a strong influence on promotion at PT.Patra Jasa Palembang City. So it can be concluded that the work performance appraisal variable has a significant effect on promotion. Based on the results of the Determination Coefficient Test (R), it can be seen that the influence of the work performance appraisal variable on promotion is 0.555 or 55.5%, while the remaining 44.5% is influenced by other factors. It can be concluded that work performance appraisal has an effect on promotion at PT.Patra Jasa Palembang City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation the performance of educational staff at SMA Negeri 18 Palembang. The samples are 74 educational staff at SMA Negeri 18 Palembang. Technique of data collection is by distributing questionnaires to 7 4 respondents while the method used in this sampling is saturation sampling technique. The method of analysis uses IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows Version 24 program path. Based on the result of this study concluded that there is an effect of work motivation on the performance of SMA Negeri 18 Palembang educational stafs. As for suggestions that work motivation should be good, so that it can be further improved because it will give effect in improving the performance of educational staff at SMA Negeri 18 Palembang, where the higher the work motivation of educational staff, then the higher the performance will be.
