Abstract

Bandpass filter is an important component in aviation equipment that functions to pass the desired frequency and to stop unwanted frequencies. In this research, the simulation design was carried out with a bandpass filter microstrip which works on the center frequency 113 MHz using hairpin structure for the receiver navigation analyzer system. This system is one of the systems installed in drone in implementation ground inspection for ILS/VOR equipment. Bandpass filter is designed using a simulation software with various dielectric materials / substrates, such as R04350, FR-4, and RT5880, for comparison purposes. The simulated parameter values obtained include return loss, insertion loss, and bandwidth.

Abstract

Abstract

Kata kunci: detektor kecepatan; pergeseran doppler; x-band; akurasi ABSTRACTClass roads have a narrow structure and are usually built near residential areas for pedestrian use. In addition to pedestrians, two-wheeled motorbikes can also use the road. Problems arise when motorized vehicles travel at high speeds, endangering other road users, especially pedestrians. To address this issue, this research proposes an X-band speed detector based on the Doppler shift effect for motorcycles. The built detector uses the HB100 sensor with a frequency of 10 GHz, and the Doppler shift effect is processed using Arduino. The parameters used for calculations include speed, Doppler shift, and detector distance. The measurement results show that the system has an accuracy above 95% (or an error rate of less than 5%) in a speed range of 20-60 Km/hour.Keywords: speed detector, doppler shift, x-band, accuracy.

Abstract

The development of information technology plays a very important role in supporting work in all fields, including village government. Industrial technology has been applied in almost all village governments, to support the performance of the Village Head, Village Consultative Body and Village Apparatus/Apparatus. One of the software that can be used to support administrative activities is Microsoft Office which consists of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. Microsoft Office software has many features, including the mail merge feature, but most of the features are still unfamiliar to use by Mekar Jaya village officials, Panongan District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, because they are still not used to using the tools available in Microsoft Office. Therefore, the Community Service team provided training on the use of the mail merge feature in Microsoft Office for correspondence for 20 Mekar Jaya village officials, Panongan District, Tangerang Regency, to increase the knowledge and skills of training participants regarding the use of the mail merge feature in Microsoft Office through lecture and discussion methods. and direct practice using a personal computer for each participant, guided by a team of competent lecturers and instructors. Based on the evaluation results, it show that after attending the training, the participants understood the material provided and were able to use the mail merge feature in making invitations, certificates, and correspondence. Participants' ability to use and utilize the mail merge feature is very necessary to improve their performance.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance satellite communication technology learning facilities at the Indonesian Civil Aviation Polytechnic Curug (PPIC) through the installation of a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) system in the Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) Laboratory. VSAT was selected due to its ability to provide connectivity independently of conventional cable infrastructure, making it highly relevant for the practical needs of students and cadets in the field of communication technology. The activities included an explanation of ground-based satellite systems, installation of satellite modems, network system configuration, and training on basic usage and maintenance for lecturers, lab technicians, and students of the communication engineering program. The results showed that with the satellite connectivity now available in the PPIC laboratory, practical training in communication particularly for students in the Air Navigation Engineering Study Program, is now supported, and participants demonstrated an increased understanding of VSAT-based satellite communication systems

Abstract

Human resource development through technology mastery is an innovative strategy to support the creation of sustainable transportation. This Community Service (PkM) activity carries the theme ‘Proteus Software Training for IAEETA Members: Innovative Strategies for Human Resource Development for Sustainable Transportation’. The main problem faced by partners is their limited mastery of Proteus software, particularly in terms of installation, initial configuration, use of the Virtual Oscilloscope, and integration with Arduino IDE, which is highly relevant in the fields of air navigation and aviation electrical systems. The implementation methods included module development, interactive lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and project-based learning. The training results showed an increase in participants' competence from moderate to good, as reflected in their success in completing simple projects such as flashing LED simulations and signal analysis using virtual measuring instruments. A satisfaction survey also showed that the majority of participants gave a score of 4–5 in terms of material, instructors, learning methods, and facilities. This activity produced outputs in the form of training modules (printed and digital), simulation products, PkM reports, and publication articles. Thus, this training not only improved the technical skills of the participants but also strengthened the contribution of academics in supporting innovation and sustainability in transportation through the development of human resources based on simulation technology.
