Abstract

One of the impacts of the pandemic in the world of education is that the learning process must be carried out online. So efforts to provide learning media are too forced. Not only from an economic perspective, but also the ability to understand and use learning media. It takes creativity and solidarity between parents and teachers to outsmart and avoid bad things that will happen. The aim of this research is to determine the role of parents and determine teachers' strategies, designs and plans in determining learning media. This research uses qualitative methods using survey models and in-depth interviews. The results of this research are that parents and teachers have the same point of view and innovation in the use of learning media. This research confirms that the use of learning media is not only focused on learning objectives, but it is important to take into account several things: 1) how to select media, which consists of media selection models and reasons for using media. 2) media selection criteria consisting of the goals and objectives of media use, 3) media characteristics, 4) time and 5) cost of media use and 6) availability of the learning media. It is hoped that all steps chosen really take into account the principles of using learning media. Therefore, the limitation of this research is that researchers only focus on solution actions regarding innovation that make things easier for the parties involved in the learning process. It is hoped that future researchers can continue this research in certain subjects.

Abstract

The growing concern over employee productivity and job satisfaction has led organizations to focus on welfare programs as a strategic tool. In many companies, these programs are designed to enhance employees’ well-being, which is expected to boost productivity and job satisfaction. However, the effectiveness of these programs remains a topic of debate. This research examines employee welfare programs’ impact on productivity and job satisfaction within various organizational settings. The study utilizes a quantitative approach, employing surveys and questionnaires distributed to 200 employees from diverse industries. Data were analyzed using statistical methods, particularly regression analysis, to determine the correlation between the presence of welfare programs and improvements in productivity and job satisfaction. The findings reveal that companies offering comprehensive welfare programs, such as health benefits, flexible working hours, and professional development opportunities, see significant improvements in employee productivity and job satisfaction. Moreover, employees who feel supported by these programs are likelier to exhibit higher organizational engagement and commitment. In conclusion, welfare programs play a crucial role in enhancing not only productivity but also the overall job satisfaction of employees. Organizations are encouraged to invest in such programs as a long-term strategy for workforce development and retention.

Abstract

The concept of usury (riba) occupies a pivotal position in Islamic economics, serving as a foundational principle shaping Islamic financial practices. Despite its centrality, the interpretation and application of riba have been subjects of extensive debate among scholars, particularly concerning its implications for modern Islamic finance. This study aims to critically analyze the concept of riba within the framework of Islamic economics, exploring its historical evolution, interpretative nuances, and contemporary challenges. Employing a qualitative methodology, this research integrates a systematic review of classical Islamic jurisprudence texts and modern scholarly discourse, complemented by case studies of Islamic financial institutions. The findings reveal that while riba is unequivocally prohibited in Islamic law, its definition and scope vary, influencing the operational dynamics of Islamic financial products such as murabahah, ijarah, and sukuk. Moreover, the study identifies a tension between theoretical ideals and practical implementations, highlighting the need for greater consistency and innovation in Islamic finance to align with maqasid al-shariah. The study concludes that a nuanced understanding of riba is essential for addressing contemporary financial complexities and fostering the growth of an ethical and sustainable Islamic financial system.
