Abstract

The growing concern over employee productivity and job satisfaction has led organizations to focus on welfare programs as a strategic tool. In many companies, these programs are designed to enhance employees’ well-being, which is expected to boost productivity and job satisfaction. However, the effectiveness of these programs remains a topic of debate. This research examines employee welfare programs’ impact on productivity and job satisfaction within various organizational settings. The study utilizes a quantitative approach, employing surveys and questionnaires distributed to 200 employees from diverse industries. Data were analyzed using statistical methods, particularly regression analysis, to determine the correlation between the presence of welfare programs and improvements in productivity and job satisfaction. The findings reveal that companies offering comprehensive welfare programs, such as health benefits, flexible working hours, and professional development opportunities, see significant improvements in employee productivity and job satisfaction. Moreover, employees who feel supported by these programs are likelier to exhibit higher organizational engagement and commitment. In conclusion, welfare programs play a crucial role in enhancing not only productivity but also the overall job satisfaction of employees. Organizations are encouraged to invest in such programs as a long-term strategy for workforce development and retention.

Abstract

This research explores the role of trade unions in enhancing the quality and development of human resources (HR) in the context of globalization and digitalization challenges. Facing the dynamics of labor market changes and rapid technological advancements, the role of trade unions becomes increasingly important in maintaining employee welfare and competitiveness. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes how trade unions can influence company policies related to training and skill development, wage negotiations, and the creation of a harmonious work environment. The findings of the study indicate that trade unions serve as the primary advocates for employee rights, ensuring that employees have fair access to skill development programs and training relevant to current market needs. Moreover, trade unions play a crucial role in facilitating dialogue between management and employees, contributing to the creation of more inclusive and responsive work policies in the face of global challenges. Trade unions also face challenges in adjusting their strategies to the trends of digitalization, which require the enhancement of digital skills and adaptation to technological changes

Abstract

This paper presents a study of the role of digital marketing in developing the rural creative economy in Indonesia. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural communities can benefit greatly from the simplicity and efficiency of digital marketing. However, the use of digital marketing is not yet fully optimized in Pandeglang Regency due to unequal internet infrastructure and lack of digital marketing skills. To address this issue, we conducted a qualitative study using in-depth interviews and observations with rural creative economy actors in the area. The data collected were analyzed using NVivo 12 Plus, a software program for qualitative data analysis. The results demonstrate that digital marketing has a positive impact on the development of the rural creative economy in Pandeglang Regency. This paper is essential to enhance digital marketing competencies and expertise among rural communities in the region to maximize the benefits of digital marketing. Our study contributes to the literature on rural development, creative economy, and digital marketing by providing insights into the challenges and opportunities of using digital marketing to develop rural areas.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training on employee job satisfaction, focusing on workload and motivation. This research proposes that practical training can reduce workload, increase motivation, and ultimately increase employee job satisfaction. The research method used was quantitative, with an association approach, identifying the relationship between the variables. The research population consisted of 199 employees of the Cilegon City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, with a total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire. For data analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used with SmartPLS 4.0. The results of the study show that training has no direct effect on job satisfaction; however, it does have a significant effect on work motivation and workload, which, in turn, affect job satisfaction. Training that is relevant and tailored to employees' needs has been proven to reduce perceived workload, increase motivation, and boost job satisfaction. These findings make an important contribution to the development of human resource management strategies to improve employee performance and satisfaction in the public sector. It is hoped that this research can make a theoretical contribution to the literature in this context, of course, in the context of human resource management.
