Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies has changed the landscape of the retail industry by opening up new opportunities to enrich customer experience and improve operational efficiency. However, the implementation of these technologies in retail management requires an in-depth understanding of their impact on customer experience and operational efficiency. This study aims to explore the implementation of IoT technologies in retail management to enrich customer experience and improve operational efficiency. Quantitative research methods were used with an exploratory and descriptive design. The research population was customers from retail stores that implemented and did not implement IoT, with a sample of 100 people randomly selected. Data were collected through surveys and direct observation at the two selected retail stores. Data analysis used an independent sample t-test to determine significant differences between customer responses in the two types of stores. The findings show that the implementation of IoT in retail management provides an excellent customer experience and improves operational efficiency. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significant difference between the customer experience at retail stores that implemented IoT and those that did not.

Abstract

Kota Serang tengah berjuang menghadapi tingginya angka pengangguran lulusan perguruan tinggi, dengan 11,85% dari pengangguran tersebut berpendidikan sarjana. Kualitas perguruan tinggi swasta yang ditandai dengan akreditasi yang rendah dan kualifikasi dosen yang terbatas menyebabkan arah pendidikan menjadi tidak efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi kinerja dosen pada perguruan tinggi swasta di Kota Serang dengan menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kerja sama tim, dengan komunikasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling untuk memilih 160 dosen di Kota Serang. Analisis jalur menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap komunikasi (koefisien jalur = 0,550, p < 0,05, t = 4,258) dan kinerja (koefisien jalur = 0,650, p < 0,05, t = 3,047). Kerja sama tim juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komunikasi (koefisien jalur = 0,385, p < 0,05, t = 3,047) dan kinerja (koefisien jalur = 0,160, p < 0,05, t = 1,96). Selain itu, komunikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja (koefisien jalur = 0,282, p < 0,05, t = 3,280), yang menegaskan peran mediasinya. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi peran penting kepemimpinan transformasional, kerja sama tim, dan komunikasi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja dosen. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan faktor-faktor ini dapat mengarah pada hasil pendidikan yang lebih baik dan peningkatan daya kerja lulusan, sehingga dapat mengatasi masalah pengangguran di kalangan lulusan universitas di Kota Serang.

Abstract

The concept of Islamic law in Indonesia is dynamic, dominating several sectors but often arising with controversial effects. One of the minority groups affected is the Shi'a Islam. From the government, the MUI (Indonesian Ulama Council) and "moderate" religious organizations campaign and manipulate anti-Shi'a discourse in Islamic law and blasphemy law as a basis of power to encourage dehumanization or marginalization of minority Islamic groups. Shi'a is often accused of blaspheming Islam as it is different from Sunni beliefs and disrupts public order. This study aims to describe the complexity of the problem and show the dynamics related to the existence of Shia, both leading to the worst violations of the FoRB concept (Freedom of Religion or Belief) or actions in interfaith relations. This article is a qualitative library study. This paper argues that the affirmative action movement between religions contributes positively to responding to the majority-minority conflict in Indonesia by strengthening the multidimensional function of human rights and spreading awareness at all grassroots levels, NGOs, and government officials. This study found that inter-community coexistence raises the awareness that no one has the privilege to deprive every human being of any right.

Abstract

Sistem kontak keamanan sepeda motor saat ini menggunakan kunci konvensional yang dengan mudahnya dibobol untuk begal. Sedangkan sepeda motor dengan sistem keamanan remote kontrol masih saja bisa dicuri salah satunya dengan mencuri remotnya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem keamanan sepeda motor menggunakan sensor sidik jari dengan penambahan pelacak lokasi berbasis prototipe. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengidupkan dan mematikan sepeda motor serta memudahkan akses tanpa membawa kunci lagi. Prototipe ini menggunakan komponen utama seperti sensor sidik jari, arduino mega, modul sim 800L, Gps Neo N8M, sensor getar, Modul LCD I2C 16x2, dan buzzer. Serta penambahan kontrol untuk membuka jok, tangki motor dan kunci stang melalui servo dan relay. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, observasi, metode pengembangan dan ekperimen. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem dapat bekerja secara akurat dalam mengenali sidik jari yang terdaftar, mengaktikan dan mematikan sistem, serta melacak lokasi kendaraan melalui SMS. Sistem akan mendeteksi adanya percobaan pencurian seperti getaran pada sensor getar dan sidik jari tidak terdaftar, dan pada kondisi tersebut alarm akan menyala.

Abstract

Eichhornia crassipes (water hyacinth) is a fast-growing aquatic plant in tropical regions like Indonesia. Though often considered a weed, it remains underutilized as an alternative energy source. This study explores its potential as a solid fuel in the form of eco-friendly bio-briquettes. The production process includes drying, carbonization, sieving, mixing with binder, molding, and final drying. Laboratory tests involved proximate analysis and calorific value measurement. Results showed that the briquettes contained 9.61% moisture, 3.93% ash, 7.89% volatile matter, 78.57% fixed carbon, and a calorific value of 25.8 kJ/g. Compared to coconut shell briquettes, water hyacinth briquettes burn more slowly but offer cleaner and more stable combustion. These characteristics make them a suitable renewable energy source for households and small industries.

Abstract

This paper presents a study of the role of digital marketing in developing the rural creative economy in Indonesia. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural communities can benefit greatly from the simplicity and efficiency of digital marketing. However, the use of digital marketing is not yet fully optimized in Pandeglang Regency due to unequal internet infrastructure and lack of digital marketing skills. To address this issue, we conducted a qualitative study using in-depth interviews and observations with rural creative economy actors in the area. The data collected were analyzed using NVivo 12 Plus, a software program for qualitative data analysis. The results demonstrate that digital marketing has a positive impact on the development of the rural creative economy in Pandeglang Regency. This paper is essential to enhance digital marketing competencies and expertise among rural communities in the region to maximize the benefits of digital marketing. Our study contributes to the literature on rural development, creative economy, and digital marketing by providing insights into the challenges and opportunities of using digital marketing to develop rural areas.

Abstract

Oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) is one of the palm oil industry solid wastes that can be used as an alternative material to product composites. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the addition of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) as a filler material hybridized with OPEFB fiber to the flexural strength of polymeric foam composites. The aim of this research is to obtain the strength of the flexural test value of the composite material polymeric foam reinforced OPEFB fiber and Zinc Oxide (ZnO) with reference to the ASTM D790-92 standard. The composition of the specimens are 70% Resin, 15% OPEFB Fiber, 15% Polyurethane with different fiber sizes namely mesh (40, 60, 80, 100) and the addition of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) of (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%). The test specimen used for each composition is 5 samples, so that the entire test sample is 100 samples. From the test data it can be concluded the value of flexural strength in the 100 mesh OPEFB specimens and the addition of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) 10% is the best composition compared to 40, 60 and 80 mesh OPEFB with the addition of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) 5%, 15%, and 20%, where the voltage value is 10,01141 MPa and the strain value is 0,898456 mm / mm. From the research data it can also be concluded that the smaller the OPEFB fiber size with the addition of zinc oxidation (ZnO) 10%, the flexural strength of the polymeric foam composite material will be better.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap tingkat kapabilitas PT Trimegah Karya Pratama Tbk menggunakan framework COBIT 5 pada proses domain DSS01 Deliver, Service and Support (Manage Operations) dan MEA01 Monitor, Evaluate and Assess Performance and Conformance. PT Trimegah Karya Pratama Tbk adalah perusahaan voucher digital terbesar di Indonesia. Dalam perkembangannya, Ultra Voucher mengalami perubahan dari Voucher Center yang hanya melayani pemesanan voucher fisik menjadi platform Ultra Voucher yang melayani transaksi pembelian voucher digital melalui aplikasi mobile. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi secara efektif, dibutuhkan menerapkan tata kelola teknologi informasi yang baik. Namun, PT Trimegah Karya Pratama Tbk menghadapi beberapa tantangan, antara lain ketidaksesuaian karyawan dengan prosedur operasional standar yang telah ditetapkan dan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang belum maksimal. Oleh karena itu, evaluasi tata kelola teknologi informasi dengan menggunakan framework COBIT 5 sangatlah penting. COBIT 5 dipilih sebagai framework evaluasi karena memiliki cakupan yang luas dan mencakup aspek tata kelola dan manajemen teknologi informasi. COBIT 5 juga memiliki prinsip dasar yang meliputi pemenuhan kebutuhan pemangku kepentingan, pendekatan terintegrasi, dan pemisahan antara tata kelola dan manajemen.Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kapabilitas PT Trimegah Karya Pratama Tbk menggunakan framework COBIT 5 pada proses domain DSS01 dan MEA01. Hasil evaluasi diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan tentang tingkat kapabilitas perusahaan dalam mengelola teknologi informasi dan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan yang diperlukan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menerapkan pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) sebagai sarana edukasi dalam upaya konservasi mangrove di Pantai Kurnia, Desa Kota Pari. Mangrove merupakan ekosistem pesisir yang memiliki peran vital dalam menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan, mencegah abrasi, serta menyediakan habitat bagi berbagai spesies. Namun, rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya peran mangrove menyebabkan ekosistem ini rentan terhadap kerusakan. Teknologi AI, dengan kemampuannya dalam analisis data dan pengolahan informasi yang cepat, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyampaikan pesan edukasi secara lebih efektif dan menarik. Dalam proyek pengabdian ini, kami mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis AI yang menggabungkan visualisasi data interaktif, gamifikasi, dan simulasi dampak kerusakan mangrove. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam kepada masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, mengenai peran penting mangrove, ancaman yang dihadapi, serta langkah-langkah konservasi yang dapat dilakukan. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk berinteraksi langsung dengan data, seperti simulasi pertumbuhan mangrove dan dampak perubahan iklim terhadap ekosistem pesisir. Diharapkan, melalui pendekatan inovatif ini, kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam konservasi mangrove dapat meningkat secara signifikan, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada pelestarian lingkungan dan keberlanjutan ekosistem pesisir di Pantai Kurnia. Pengabdian ini tidak hanya memberi manfaat bagi lingkungan, tetapi juga meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam menggunakan teknologi untuk mendukung konservasi alam.

Abstract

Work discipline management must be carried out properly by employees. Therefore, in the era of technology and civilization that is very advanced today, competent human resources with a high level of discipline are needed, because lack of work discipline cancause a decrease in employee performance. Unsatisfactory performance from employees will be a problem for the organization, because their work results do not meet the organization's expectations. Employee performance is very important toobserve because it is one of the keys to achieving an organization; if the organization does not carry out government activities properly, the image of the organization will be negatively affected. This study determines whether there is an influence and howsignificant is Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Bondowoso Regency General Election Supervisory Agency Office. This study uses a quantitative approach, where this research is a method used to answer research problems related to data inthe form of numbers and statistical programs. While the type of research is descriptive research, namely describing, examining and explaining something that is studied as it is and drawing conclusions from phenomena that can be observed using numbers. The influence of Work Discipline on employee performance of 40.8% can be seen in the determination coefficient table (R Test), while 57.2% is influenced by other variables. Based on the results of the T Test, there is a significant impact or influence betweenwork discipline on employee performance. This can be seen through the results of the t-test of 3.670 and t table of 2.10092, meaning t count (3.670)> t table (2.10092), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
