Abstract

The high competition in the property industry requires companies to maintain high occupational safety and health (K3) standards. Data from the engineering division of PT Gaia Care International shows that in the period January-November 2023 there were 11 work accidents, with the majority being minor accidents and one fatal case. This study aims to identify potential risk hazards, analyze risk levels, and determine appropriate risk control measures. The HIRARC method is used in three stages: Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control. The results showed that there were various potential hazards such as electrocution, falling from stairs, and exposure to chemicals. The risk assessment classified 5 work activities as low risk, 43 as medium risk, and 2 as high risk and no extreme risk was found. Risk control efforts are carried out using fishbone diagrams and 5W+1H techniques to reduce or eliminate existing risks. This research is expected to provide benefits for companies in reducing the number of work accidents and become a reference in implementing better OHS policies, as well as providing additional insight for readers regarding the importance of risk analysis in creating a safe and healthy work environment.

Abstract

The resources of a manufacturing company must be good to increase productivity and optimize the result, effective for business operations and support production and business, especially in industry. One of the prerequisites for working is the availability of raw materials. Raw material availability is neither excessive nor insufficient to adversely affect inventory stability and costs. The total production of S.10 rebar during the year was 51,122 pieces, S.13 rebar 65,543 pieces, S.16 rebar 89,668 pieces and S19 rebar 130,972 pieces. Frequency of ordering raw materials, delivery time and storage costs of raw materials are determined by MRP method, batch technique. The raw material order price for a total of one year is IDR 5,528,600. The total cost of raw material storage for 1 year is IDR 87,750,567,6875. The total cost of purchasing raw material for 1 year is IDR 20,154,860,026,6875.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, information technology is developing rapidly. As for technology, which is equipment created to make human work easier, when achieving good progress in the work process of PT Plaza Auto Prima, it is absolutely necessary to have a technique that supports and provides satisfactory service for customers. Based on this, the author tries to analyze a method used when employees work in the Plaza Auto Prima environment regarding the work ergonomics they currently apply at PT Plaza Auto Prima, which to date has not seen any improvement. The method used is direct observation and assessment of work posture using the REBA method. The research subjects were mechanics who worked in the installation or removal of car wheels. The data obtained is analyzed to determine the REBA score and the level of risk faced by workers. The research results show that the mechanical work posture at PT Plaza Auto Prima (Toyota) Tendean has significant problems. Analysis using the REBA method produces a final score of 8, which indicates a high risk level and requires immediate improvement. Factors that contribute to this high risk include the lack of ideal work ergonomics and limited supporting equipment. This increases the risk of injury and illness to the worker's body in the future. After improvements were made by adding trolley service tools, the way of working became more ergonomic so that the REBA score dropped to 2, which shows that some of the movements carried out were in the safe category or did not cause muscle injuries in the future. Therefore, the presence of bodily abnormalities that arise from work cannot be separated from the existence of supporting equipment to facilitate the removal of certain parts so as not to cause abnormal bodily effects. Planning for the procurement of a particular tool needs to be done as soon as possible so that workers do not suffer the effects of bodily abnormalities. In this way, the author took analytical steps using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, which is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company to support workers so they can work all the time without any complaints about their bodies.

Abstract

Work accidents in the construction industry are often related to the operation of machinery, including the complex Automatic Bar Bending machine. This study aims to analyze the risk management of work accidents on Automatic Bar Bending machines using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC) approach at PT Faza Jaya Pratama. The research method includes hazard identification, risk assessment, and determination of effective controls to reduce the risk of accidents. The results showed that the Automatic Bar Bending machine has several potential hazards that can result in serious accidents if not handled appropriately. The risk evaluation provided a deeper understanding of the level of risk associated with the machine operation, while the implementation of appropriate controls was able to significantly reduce the risk. The implication of these findings is the need for the implementation of a comprehensive risk management strategy to improve occupational safety and health in the construction industry work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve setup time efficiency on a pipe laser cutting machine using the Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) method. Initial identification includes an analysis of the machine setup time by taking into account the Rating Factor and operator allowance. The normal setup time is 2,936.64 seconds, with an operator rating factor of 0.14. The conversion from internal to external setup resulted in a 16% decrease in setup time, but the initial improvement was not significant. Through fishbone analysis, the factors causing the high setup time were identified, and improvement solutions were proposed for management, equipment, environment, materials, machines, and methods. The second improvement was made by replacing problematic bolts, resulting in a 30% decrease in setup time. The application of SMED proved to increase process time efficiency by 30%, potentially increasing the company's productivity in pipe machining.

Abstract

Meat N Fresh merupakan industri retail yang bergerak dibidang frozen food. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah banyaknya tingkat kecacatan produk Meat N Fresh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebabkan kecacatan dan usulan pengendalian kualitas produk menggunakan metode Six Sigma. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Six Sigma dengan tahapan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). Didukung oleh diagram Pareto, p chart, diagram fishbone, dan usulan perbaikan 5W+1H. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui faktor penyebab cacat produk yaitu faktor manusia, kurangnya pelatihan dan kelelahan akibat berdiri terlalu lama menyebabkan kurang fokus. Faktor metode, kesalahan saat assemblly, kesalahan proses pemotongan, dan proses packing yang kurang maksimal. Faktor mesin, kurangnya maintenance kestabilan mesin potong dan mesin.. Faktor bahan baku, kualitas bahan baku. Faktor lingkungan kerja, suhu yang terlalu panas. Berdasarkan analisis 5W+1H, usulan perbaikan untuk faktor manusia, perbaikan waktu istirahat serta penambahan ventilasi, dan pelatihan penggunaan mesin press. Faktor metode, pelatihan penggunaan mesin potong dan press, dan mengoptimalkan proses packing. Faktor mesin, perawatan mesin potong dan press secara berkala. Faktor bahan baku, pengawasan kualitas bahan baku. Faktor lingkungan, menambah pendingin bersuhu rendah untuk di kendaraan logistik maupun dalam pabrik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether inventory control of foot step raw materials with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is more efficient than the conventional method used by CV Anugerah Teknik. This research involves the calculation and comparison of the amount and frequency of ordering foot step raw materials. Data was collected through field and literature studies. The results showed that the frequency of ordering with the conventional method was 6 times with an average of 2,100 kg per order, while the EOQ method suggested 3 times with an average of 1,698 kg per order. CV Anugerah Teknik has not determined the safety stock, while the EOQ method recommends 514 kg. The reorder point applied by CV Anugerah Teknik is 2,000 kg, while the EOQ method recommends 2,032 kg. In 2022, the total cost of inventory with the EOQ method is lower at Rp 1,518,484,129 compared to the conventional method of Rp 1,760,469,931. In conclusion, inventory control of foot step raw materials is more optimal with the EOQ method than the conventional method applied by CV Anugerah Teknik.

Abstract

PT Surya Marga Luhur, providing services in mechanical and Electrical works, produces various services such as Mechanical Works, Electrical works, and HVAC Maintenance to find out what types of work accidents most often occur in mechanical works services. HAZOP is to systematically review a process or operation on a system to determine whether process deviations can lead to unwanted events or accidents. The number of work accidents during 2023 occurred 7 impacts of work accidents. The seven impacts of accidents are eye splashes, stab wounds, lacerations, fractures, bone fractures, lacerations and fractures, and bruises to the legs. The most frequent defects are lacerations and fractures with a risk assessment of 12 which is an extreme risk level. To reduce these accidents, there is discipline for the use of PPE, following the SOPs set by the K3 team and the HSE team.

Abstract

PT Bank Mandiri is a company engaged in banking, insurance, and e-commerce. This study employs factor analysis to process the data, where this technique is used to group measurement indicators in the service quality measurement tool (Servqual) based on the proximity of each tested indicator. This study uses SERVQUAL, which consists of five dimensions to measure customer satisfaction with service companies, namely: Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, and Tangibles. The calculation of thegapvalue per dimension shows that the Responsiveness dimension has the highestgapvalue of 0.56, indicating that this dimension has met respondents' expectations. The overallgapcalculation shows that the overallgapvalue is 1.74, which means that the quality of service provided by PT Bank Mandiri Cabang Bekasi Juanda fully meets the needs and desires of the respondents. Based on the results of the research conducted to measure the service quality at PT Bank Mandiri Cabang Bekasi Juanda, it can be concluded that the calculation results using the Service Quality method show that the average actual value of customers is 71.32 and the average expected value of customers is 69.58, resulting in a positivegapvalue of 1.74, which indicates that customers are satisfied with the services provided by PT Bank Mandiri Cabang Bekasi Juanda
