Abstract

This study discusses Abdurrahman An-Nashir. Abdurrahman An-Nashir or better known as Abdurrahman III was the eighth caliph of the Umayyad dynasty II. During his reign, Andalusia experienced a golden age in all fields. But before that it turned out that Abdurrahman An-Nashir had to quell the various rebellions that existed in Andalusia. Therefore the purpose of this study is to find out how Abdurrahman An-Nashir suppressed all rebellions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a library research approach, which is a research conducted by collecting data from information sourced from literature in the form of books, journals, articles and other research results that are in accordance with the topic of study of political jihad and abdurrahman an-nashir's military in suppressing rebellions in Andalusia.

Abstract

Teacher performance evaluation is essential to determine their competence in teaching and support professional development. Teacher productivity is a key factor in creating an effective educational environment, with a focus on individual and organizational dimensions. This literature review aims to analyze various approaches to teacher performance evaluation that have been reviewed in the latest literature. This study uses a literature review method, which is the process of searching and analyzing various sources of information, such as journals, books, and other published manuscripts, related to the research topic. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that teacher performance evaluation has a very important role in improving the quality of education, especially at the elementary school level. Evaluations that are carried out periodically and are evidence-based, using a comprehensive and adaptive approach, have proven effective in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of teacher performance, and providing a clear basis for their professional development. The competency-based evaluation model provides great benefits in improving the quality of teaching by assessing four main aspects of teacher competence, namely pedagogical, personality, social, and professional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengonstruksi atau menulis teks resensi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) pada peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 7 SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Model pembelajaran TTW merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks resensi, karena bisa membantu peserta didik mengontruksi pengetahuan mereka sendiri, sesuai dengan langkah-langkah TTW. Pertama, peserta didik membaca sebuah bacaan, lalu mencatat hal-hal penting dalam bacaan tersebut. Kedua, peserta didik didik secara berkelompok membahasa hal-hal penting yang diperoleh dan membentuk sebuah kerangka tulisan. Ketiga, secara individu peserta didik mulai mengembangkan kerangka tersebut menjadi sebuah tulisan yang utuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif karena penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan naturalistik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan mengambil subjek peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 7 SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. terbagi pada dua siklus. Keterampilan mengonstruksi teks resensi diukur berdasarkan persentase kecapaian nilai menulis teks resensi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi kegiatan berupa foto. Kriteria keberhasilan tindakan berupa peningkatan proses dan hasil keterampilan menulis teks resensi peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW). Keberhasilan proses dilihat dari peningkatan antusias dan sikap siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Keberhasilan keterampilan mengonstruksi teks resensi diukur berdasarkan skor ketercapaian aspek menulis teks resensi sebesar 70%. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan persentase ketercapaian proses dan hasil yang perlu diperhatikan dalam mengonstruksi teks resensi pada setiap siklus. Peningkatan kualitas proses didasarkan pada hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru dan aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran mengonstruksi teks resensi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dari siklus I sampai siklus II. Proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam mengonstruksi teks resensi. Peningkatan proses pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari aktivitas peserta didik pada siklus I reratanya 55% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87%. Selain itu peningkatan juga terjadi pada aktivitas guru, yaitu pada siklus I memperoleh nilai 86% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 94%. Kemudian peningkatan keterampilan hasil menulis teks diskusi dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 60% pada siklus I dan pada siklus II persentase ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 86%. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mengonstruksi teks resensi peserta didik.Kata kunci: keterampilan, mengonstruksi, menulis, teks resensi, Think Talk Write (TTW)

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level. The primary objective of this study is to explore the extent to which CTL can improve students' learning outcomes, reading skills, and critical thinking skills. Data collection was conducted through a literature review of relevant scientific articles published within the last five years. Articles were systematically selected based on the criteria of thematic relevance, source quality, and focus on Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. The study results indicate that the implementation of CTL consistently has a positive impact on reading comprehension, learning activities, and the development of students' critical thinking skills. However, challenges such as time constraints, teacher preparedness, and a lack of digital resources hinder its implementation. Therefore, institutional support and ongoing teacher training are key to the success of this approach in the context of elementary education.
