Abstract

Pengembangan FKIP melalui implementasi Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) merupakan suatu proses penerapan ide, konsep, dan kebijakan kurikulum potensial dalam suatu kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga mahasiswa diharapkan dapat menguasai seperangkat kompetensi tertentu. Dengan begitu, pendekatan KTSP juga merupakan proses aktualisasi dari kurikulum tertulis. KTSP merupakan suatu konsep kurikulum yang menekankan pada pengembangan kemampuan melakukan (kompetensi) tugas-tugas dengan standar performansi tertentu, sehingga lulusan FKIP dapat  memiliki sejumlah kompetensi yang sesuai kebutuhan di lapangan, khususnya yang dibutuhkan di era globalisasi.   Kata Kunci: Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP)   Development of Guidance and Counseling through the implementation of the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC) is a process of applying ideas, concepts, and potential curriculum policy in a learning activity, so students are expected to master a particular set of competencies. That way, the SBC approach is also a process of actualization of the written curriculum. SBC is a concept of a curriculum that emphasizes the development of the ability to do (competence) tasks with specific performance standards, so it can have a number of Guidance and Counseling graduate competencies as needed in the field, especially needed in the era of globalization. Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi variabel determinan dan kedudukannya krusial ketika suatu bangsa menginginkan warganya berkualitas. Menjadikan pendidikan sebagai leading sector, benchmarking dari negara-negara lain,  good and clean government dalam era global bukan hanya sebagai persyaratan, tetapi lebih dari itu, ia menjadi keharusan yang tidak dapat ditawar-tawar lagi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Reformasi dan transformasi pendidikan selayaknya dilaksanakan sebagai langkah pembaruan dan pemberdayaan peningkatan mutu pendidikan, yang dilakukan secara simultan dengan sektor-sektor lainnya, Untuk itu, proses pembelajaran pada berbagai lembaga pendidikan harus berpijak pada empat pilar pendidikan, yaitu: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, dan learning to be. Kata kunci: peningkatan mutu, penyelenggaraan pendidikan   Education becomes the determinant variables and crucial position when a nation wants quality citizens. Make education as the leading sector, benchmarking of other countries, good and clean government in a global era is not just a requirement, but more than that, it becomes imperative that can not be indispensable for improving welfare. Reform and transformation of education reform should be implemented as a step to improve the quality of education and empowerment, which are carried out simultaneously with other sectors, for that, the learning process in educational institutions should be based on four pillars of education, namely: learning to know, learning to do , learning to live together and learning to be. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the program, implementation, follow-up and the obstacles faced by principals in the implementation of academic supervision in improving the professional competence of teachers. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of data collection used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Subjects of study were principals, vice-principals, teachers and supervisors. Data were analyzed with data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that: 1) Programs are arranged at the beginning of each school year based on the results of the follow-up implementation of supervision in the previous year based on the instructions given by the Department of Education. Teachers were not fully involved in setting the programs and it was planned twice in one semester. 2) Implementation of supervision begins with socialization activities for teachers and pre-observation meeting. Supervision activities were carried out by providing guidance and direction on the preparation of learning tools, learning implementation and evaluation of learning through meetings, discussions, individual meetings and classroom observations. Principal recorded all activities on a classroom observation on instrument sheet that will be used as input and consideration for guidance in improving teachers professional competence. 3) Follow-up is done through discussions between principals and teachers to provide feedback from the results of classroom observation. Results of follow-up were concluded with concrete steps contextually as a way out of the problems faced by teachers in the learning process and as an improvement in the future to improve the quality of learning. 4) Obstacles faced were the supervision schedule was often shifted, the use of teaching methods were still centered on the teacher, the teacher felt clumsy when supervised and teachers were less active in seeking new information about learning. Keywords: Academic Supervision and Teacher Professional Competence. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui program, pelaksanaan, tindak lanjut dan hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru dan pengawas. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi, display, mengambil kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Program disusun pada setiap awal tahun pelajaran berdasarkan hasil tindak lanjut pelaksanaan supervisi pada tahun sebelumnya dengan berpedoman pada petunjuk yang diberikan oleh Dinas Pendidikan. Penyusunan program tidak sepenuhnya melibatkan guru dan direncanakan sebanyak dua kali dalam satu semester. 2) Pelaksanaan supervisi diawali dengan kegiatan sosialisasi kepada guru dan melakukan pertemuan pra observasi. Kegiatan supervisi dilakukan dengan memberikan bimbingan dan arahan tentang penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran melalui kegiaran rapat, diskusi, pertemuan individu dan observasi kelas. Kepala sekolah mencatat seluruh kegiatan observasi kelas pada lembar instrumen yang akan dijadikan sebagai masukan dan pertimbangan untuk pembinaan dalam meningkatkan profesional guru. 3) Tindak lanjut dilakukan melalui diskusi antara kepala sekolah dengan guru sebagai pertemuan balikan dari hasil observasi kelas. Hasil tindak lanjut diakhiri dengan langkah-langkah kongkrit secara kontekstual sebagai jalan keluar dari masalah-masalah yang dihadapi guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan sebagai upaya perbaikan pada masa yang akan datang  untuk perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. 4) Hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi adalah sering bergeser jadwal supervisi, penggunaan metode mengajar masih berpusat pada guru, guru merasa kaku ketika disupervisi dan guru kurang aktif dalam mencari informasi baru tentang pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Supervisi Akademik dan Kompetensi Profesional Guru

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh imformasi dan data pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penyusunan program supervisi akademik dirumuskan dengan melibatkan Dinas Pendidikan serta para pengawas dengan cara menganalisis program yang telah lalu. Sasaran utama kegiatan supervisi akademik para pengawas sekolah adalah pengembangan kemampuan guru dalam aspek pembelajaran; (2) Teknik supervisi yang di laksanakan pengawas adalah dengan kunjungan kelas, diskusi kelompok, pembicaraan individul, semua teknik yang di gunakan masih bersifat umum; (3) Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan supervisi akademik adalah memberi motivasi agar guru memiliki dorongan dan kemauan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dan melatih berbagai metode mengajar. faktor penghambat adalah alokasi waktu yang kurang dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik karena banyak sekolah yang harus di bina sehingga semua guru tidak bisa mendapat pembinaan maksimal dari pengawas, seorang pengawas membina sampai dengan 10 sekolah.

Abstract

A wide variety of educational reform on vocational education in accordance with the policy of link and match requires the schools to do the partnership to encourage the improvement of graduate competency and the demands of the relevance of education to the job needs. The purpose of this research is to illustrate and analyze the partnership strategy of vocational schools with the business world in its efforts to improve the graduate competency. This research has been held at SMK 3 Banda Aceh using qualitative descriptive approach. The instrument in this research is a researcher itself. This is because in qualitative approach, the researchers are essential instruments. As key instruments, researchers have to create their own set of the guidelines, observation, interview and documentary of appraisal guidelines that is used as a general guide in the process of recording. The results of the study show that the strategies adopted by SMK in forge cooperation with the world of business and industry are through the establishment of the cooperation program, working mechanism and analysis of factors that affect the holding of cooperation between the two parties.

Abstract

This Study Aims To Obtain The Information And Data Of The Implementation Of Academic In Improving Teacher Competences. The Method Used In This Research Is Descriptive Method With Qualitative Analysis Approach. The Results Showed That: (1) The Education Office And The Supervisors Involved In The Preparation Of Academic Supervision Program By Analyzing The Earlier Programs. The Main Objective Of Academic Supervision Activities Is To Develop Teacher Capacity In Learning Aspects; (2) The Supervision Techniques Include Class Visit, Group Discussion, And Individual Discussion; All Of Which Are Still General; (3) Supporting Factors Include Motivating Teachers To Uphold The Urge And Willingness To Teach And Equipping Them With Various Teaching Methods. The Inhibiting Factors Include The Lack Of Time Allocation For Academic Supervision. A Supervisor Handles Up To 10 Schools. Thus, Not All Teachers Get Utmost Supervision.

Abstract

This study aims at determining styles of leadership in improving the performance of personnel, factors affecting the personnel performance, and inhibitors in improving the performance of personnel. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were done through observation, interview and documentation study. The subjects were principal, vice director, heads of division, and teachers of Dayah. The results showed that: 1) The leadership styles of dayah in improving the performance of personnel was a consultative, participative and instructive leadership style. 2) Factors that affected performance of personnel were the authority and charismatic of the principal in the presence of personnel, and democratic in decision making, and the religious environment, 3) The limiting factors in improving the performance of the personnel were the number of students that exceeds the capacity dormitories which were available, some of the personnel did not have the administration skill background, the minority of personnel who were less active, and were not able to provide financial support for the personnel.

Abstract

The quality of education can increase because of teachers` optimal performance. However, teachers` performance and teachers` work discipline are currently still low. This study aims to analyze the principal's managerial leadership in improving teachers` performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were principals, vice principals, teachers, and supervisors. Data analysis techniques by reducing, presenting, drawing conclusions and verifying data. The results of the study indicate that managerial competence has been implemented well. Principals have programs including school learning planning, teacher supervision, collaboration, work meetings, and workshops. Obstacles faced by principals are teacher discipline, lack of teacher participation in program activities, and many elderly teachers. To anticipate the obstacles that exist in the field, the principal has tried to carry out his duties optimally. The principal's managerial role is quite good, it's just that teachers need special training to improve teacher performance. So it can be concluded that the principal's managerial leadership in improving teacher performance. The implications of this research are expected to improve the managerial leadership of school principals so that teacher performance can increase and learning objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical data about academic supervision in improving teacher professionalism at Lhokseumawe State Vocational High School. Academic supervision must be based on data, objective facts. Academic supervision is routine work that supervisors must carry out because of a dynamic curriculum that requires improvement in both documentation and contextually in the field. The method in this research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. The primary data sources of this study were obtained from direct interviews with informants consisting of school principals, teachers, and students, results from observations, and secondary sources obtained from various studies of documents, texts, and archives related to the implementation of Academic Supervision. The principal has carried out academic supervision in improving teacher professionalism, evidenced by the planning of supervision schedules, implementing, assessing the results of teacher performance using learning instruments prepared, and following up on the results of learning supervision. Supervision theory has been implemented well, one of which is directive supervision in learning and implementing initial meetings with teacher interviews carried out before implementing supervision.

Abstract

Abstract:In achieving the management objectives used and the resources that run them, this research objectives are: knowing the planning, use, supervision, control, and obstacle of BOS fund management to improve the quality of learning. The data collection method used qualitative method and data collection techniques through: observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research subjects were the principal, vice principal, treasurer, school committee, vice curriculum, and teachers. The results showed that the planning was formulated through RAPBS or RKAS by involving the deputy head, treasurer and committee, the use of funds in accordance with technical guidelines, supervision carried out by schools and agencies, accountability in the form of reports reported by the treasurer, and the obstacles faced were the procurement of school necessities that are not as desired. This means that when procuring high-quality school needs, it must adjust to standard quality, then there will be no BOS fund overrun.Abstrak:Dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi dipengaruhi manajemen yang diterapkan dan sumber daya yang menjalankannya, sesuai dengan itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengetahui perencanaan, penggunaan, pengawasan, pertanggungjawaban serta kendala dalam pengelolaan dana BOS untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui: observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, bendahara, komite sekolah, wakilkurikulum, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perencanaan dirumuskan melalui RAPBS atau RKAS dengan melibatkan Wakil Kepala, bendahara serta komite, penggunaan dana sesuai dengan juknis, pengawasan dilaksanakan oleh pihak sekolah dan dinas, pertanggungjawaban berupa laporan yang dilaporkan oleh bendahara, dan kendala yang dihadapi adalah pengadaan barang kebutuhan sekolah yang terkadang tidak sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Artinya pada saat pengadaan kebutuhan sekolah dengan kualitas tinggi harus menyesuaikan kualitas yang standar tidak terjadi pembengkakan dana BOS.
