Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum tersedianya bahan ajar yang memuat tahapan membaca, yakni prabaca, saatbaca,dan pascabaca dan belum terlihat teknik membaca dalam hati yang benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) menganalisis kebutuhan siswa berkaitan dengan bahan ajar membaca dalam hati. (2) Mengembangkan bahan ajar membaca dalam hati pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan strategi OK5R di Kelas IV SD. (3) Menguji validitas bahan ajar yang dihasilkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu: (1) preliminary research, (2) prototyping phase, dan (3) assesment stage. Pada penelitian ini peneliti meminta bantuan 3 orang validator yaitu validator untuk materi, validator untuk Kebahasaan dan validator untuk design, dari validasi yang dilakukan didapatkan uji validitas 92% dengan kriteria sangat valid,  Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pengembangan bahan ajar membaca dalam hati pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan strategi OK5R di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar telah valid untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang beberapa cerita pendek pada buku siswa kelas IV, tema ke-8, Daerah Tempat Tinggalku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan jenis-jenis nilai karakter dan persentase masing-masing nilai karakter yang ditemukan pada semua cerita pendek yang peneliti teliti. Jenis peneliti ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 5 cerita pendek yang ada dalam buku buku siswa kelas IV, tema ke-8 Daerah Tempat Tinggalku. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tabel kartu data. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi yang terdiri atas observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil data analisis 5 cerita pendek yang ada dalam buku siswa kelas IV, tema ke-8, Daerah Tempat Tinggalku, peneliti menemukan beberapa nilai karakter, diantaranya adalah: nilai karakter religius dengan persentase 5,5%, jujur 5,5%, kerja keras 22,2%, kreatif 22,2%, demokratis 5,5%, rasa ingin tahu 5,5%, cinta tanah air 5,5%, menghargai prestasi 5,5%, bersahabat/komunikatif 16,6%, cinta damai 16,6%, peduli sosial 16,6%, peduli lingkungan 5,5% dan tanggung jawab 11,1%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan ditemukannya sejumlah 13 nilai karakter pada 5 cerita pendek tersebut. Nilai karakter kerja keras dan kreatif adalah nilai karakter yang dominan pada hasil penelitian ini.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the lecture design is not optimal so that students can think critically in understanding social studies material assisted by audio-visual media. The design of this research is Quasi-Experimental with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population is the second-semester students of the 2020/2021 academic year. The sampling technique used a saturated sample, Class II C as the experimental class and II D as the control class. Test the hypothesis by t-test and the data obtained by the value of tcount = 1,729 with a difficulty level of 5% with the test criteria if tcount> ttable then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The experimental class test results averaged 74.5 and the control class averaged 65. The standard deviation of the control class (S=19.9) was greater than the standard deviation of the experimental class (S=14,4). The value of t-test is tcount = 1,729 and ttable = 1,686. The results of the study prove that the use of the Problem Based Learning model with the aid of Audio Visual media has an effect on students' critical thinking skills in learning the basic concepts of social studies at Adzkia University.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing learning materials that can improve students' reading skill. Based on the above, developed learning materials oriented learning model of cooperative type CIRC. The purpose of developing this instructional material is to produce a valid, practical, and effective reading material. Type of research is research development . The development model is a 4-D model consisting of definitions, design, development, and disseminate. The result of validity test was valid with average value 3.35. The result of observation of the implementation of RPP states that the teaching material is practical with an average value of 90.90. In the effectiveness test stage, the average result obtained 92.33 and as many as 19 students from 20 people total reach Minimum Criteria completeness (KKM). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the reading material oriented cooperative learning model type CIRC in class IV Primary School that has been produced can be declared valid, practical, and effectiveKeywords: Development of Learning Materials, Reading, CIRC

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of the 7E (Elicit, Engange ,Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluation and Extend) Learning Cycle Model to the learning outcomes of the Basic Science Concepts of second grade student of Elementary School. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was all students of Primary Teacher Education in higher educational private university college in Padang in the 2018/2019 school year. The sample consisted of 24 control class students and 28 experimental class students. The experimental class uses the 7E Learning Cycle model while the control class uses the conventional model. The data collection technique is in the form of a learning outcome test (cognitive). From this study, there were differences in student learning outcomes using learning with the learning model Cycle 7E with conventional learning. Learning with 7E Learning Cycle model gives an effect of 72% (moderate) to the improvement of student learning outcomes in the Basic Science Concept Course.

Abstract

The era of technological disruption has had a major impact in all fields. Work and activities that were originally carried out directly and real, in this era turned into virtual with the existence of technology. In the field of education, the era of technological disruption requires educators to constantly innovate by using technology and digital media in the implementation of learning. Plus the impact of Covid-19 which all have to be carried out from home. However, the skills of educators to utilize technology in learning are still low. Especially in carrying out the digital-based learning evaluation process. The purpose of implementing this community service activity is to provide knowledge about the importance of digital literacy in the world of education and training in making digital-based evaluation questions using the live worksheet website. This community service activity is in partnership with SDIT Adzkia 3 Padang. The participants of this community service activity were 22 educators. The methods of this service activity are lectures, demonstrations and simulations as well as direct training assistance. This community service activity has succeeded in providing educators with a new understanding of the importance of digital literacy in the world of education. The results of the assistance in making evaluation questions directly, educators at SDIT Adzkia 3 are able to design evaluation questions using the live worksheet website with multiple choice questions, join arrows, drop down and drag and drop questions and are able to input videos into the evaluation question sheet. during the activities, the training participants seemed enthusiastic about the material presented and were actively involved in activities. The training was successful and went smoothly. The training participants increased their understanding of the importance of using technology in learning and also increased the skills of educators in evaluating and providing new innovations in carrying out learning evaluations at SDIT Adzkia 3.

Abstract

Based on the results of the preliminary analysis, it was found that the LKPD circulating in schools had not been able to direct students to study independently. This study aims to develop LKPD using the TTW model. The type of research used is the type of research and development (R & D), which uses a 4-D model. This model consists of 4 stages of development, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. This research is only up to the stage of development that is to development. Data collection instruments in this study were used in the form of curriculum analysis sheets, student analysis, LKPD validation sheets (for linguists, material, and design experts). Based on the results of the LKPD validation using the TTW model, it is declared very valid. The level of validity of the design aspect is 90% with a very valid category, the level of validity of the material aspect is 91% with a very valid category, and the level of validity of the language aspect is 80% with a valid category, this shows that the LKPD product using the TTW model is at the category is very valid so that it can be used in integrated thematic learning.

Abstract

Literasi numerasi siswa Indonesia masih rendah. Pernyataan ini berdasarkan hasil tes PISA dan TIMMS yang menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia berada di peringkat bawah. Salah satu strategi yang diusung pemerintah Indonesia untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa yaitu melalui Gerakan Literasi Numerasi (GLN) di sekolah dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah sebagai media pembelajaran numerasi sehingga tercipta ekosistem yang kaya numerasi. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan melatih guru mendesain kelas bernuansa literasi numerasi di SDIT Padang Islamic School. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan pendampingan pelatihan langsung mendesain kelas bernuansa literasi numerasi dengan jumlah peserta 40 orang guru. Hasil dari kegiatan ini bertambahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang literasi numerasi bagi siswa untuk kehidupannya di masa mendatang yaitu dari 45% (pre test) menjadi 95% (post test) dan hasil pendampingan langsung pelatihan kepada guru-guru di SDIT Padang Islamic School yaitu berhasil mendesain kelas bernuansa literasi numerasi sehingga bisa dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan numerasi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masih banyak peserta didik yang belum bisa mengetahui huruf abjad, masih adanya peserta didik yang belum bisa membaca kata, masih sering tertukar huruf yang berbentuknya sama. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan produk media flashcard pada keterampilan membaca permulaan di kelas I sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D (Define, Design, Development Dan Dissemination). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen efektivitas. Hasil efektivitas mendapatkan nilai 88,67 dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran flashcard pada keterampilan membaca permulaan kelas I SD telah dinyatakan efektif.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by findings during initial field observations that the majority of teachers donot place too much importance on character values in literature learning in elementary schools. In fact,literary learning is an educational tool that plays a major role in the world of education to shape anddevelop children's personalities. literature plays a role as character building which is believed to have amajor role in the development of character in children so that they are able to develop human beingswho are completely fun from an early age.Short stories, as a part of literary work that will be taught tochildren, actually can be analyzed the character values they have so that the positive energy can betransmitted to children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the character values in the short storiesin the third grade students' book of the theme 8 Praja Muda Karana. The approach used is a qualitativeapproach in the form of analysis of short stories in class III SD books. The subjects of this study were allshort stories contained in the third grade students' book of 8 Praja Muda Karana theme. The shortstories in the third grade students' book of the theme 8 Praja Muda Karana consist of eight short stories.The short story is entitled I am an independent child, independently doing homework, independentduring worship, practicing independently, I like adventure, cycling with friends, being a receptionist,holding charity activities. After being read and analyzed, it was found that there are several charactervalues that can be transmitted to children including: independence, friendly / communicative, religious,tolerance, discipline, hard work, curiosity, love for the country and several other noble characters.
