Abstract

ABSTRAKInkuiri ilmiah merupakan salah satu tujuan penting dalam pembelajaran sains yang disarankan kurikulum namun pelaksanaannya tidak seperti yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pemahaman inkuri ilmiah mahasiswa calon guru biologi/IPA dan guru IPA. Sebanyak 34 orang mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Biologi semester 7 dan 25 orang guru IPA terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Gambaran pemahaman inkuiri ilmiah dieksplor dengan menggunakan kuesioner VASI (Views About Scientific Inquiry. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa calon guru Biologi/IPA lebih baik daripada guru IPA pada beberapa aspek inkuiri ilmiah. Namun demikian, kedua kelompok responden masih memiliki pemahaman yang kurang pada aspek karakteristik penyelidikan ilmiah, fungsi pertanyaan dalam sebuah penelitian, hubungan antara pertanyaan, prosedur dan kesimpulan. Kedua kelompok juga belum memahami tentang bukti ilmiah, alasan memilih prosedur, dan hubungan antara data yang ditemukan dengan penelitian sebelumnya.ABSTRACTScientific inquiry is the main objective of science education. However, its practice was not as we want it to be. This research objective was to explore prospective biology teachers’ and science teachers’ views on scientific inquiry. Thirty four-seventh semester biology students and 25 science teachers participated in this research. Scientific inquiry was explored using Views About Scientific Inquiry (VASI) Questionnaire. Results showed that understanding level of pre-service biology teachers was better than science teachers understanding in some aspects of scientific inquiry. However, both respondents lack understanding of some aspects in scientific inquiry, i.e. scientific investigation characteristics, an investigation begin with a question, question guides a procedure, scientific evidence, procedure selection, and the relation data collecting and previous investigation.

Abstract

Abstract: This study investigates the implementation strategies of digital-based supervision to improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen, Aceh Province, using a qualitative research approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to the implementation of digital supervision in schools. The findings indicate that the application of digital-based supervision has positively impacted the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen. The use of technology in supervision has enabled education supervisors to gather data more quickly and accurately, facilitate more timely feedback to teachers, and enhance transparency and accountability in the evaluation process. This has encouraged teachers to innovate in their teaching approaches, contributing to improved student learning outcomes. The implications of this study suggest that the implementation of digital-based supervision can serve as an effective model for other schools in efforts to enhance education quality. However, adequate training and education for educators and supervisors are necessary to maximize the benefits of this supervisory technology. Additionally, attention must be paid to data security and privacy aspects to ensure safe and ethical use. Thus, the implementation strategies of digital-based supervision have the potential to serve as a tool for improving education quality in the future. Abstract

Pengawasan bertujuan untuk memberikan pelayanan dan bimbingan memastikan pelaksanaan kegiatan sesuai dengan tujuan awal pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran guru dan mengembangkan potensi guru yang berkualitas dan profesional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk; (1) mendeskripsikan proses perencanaan supervisi sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, (2) Pelaksanaan supervisi sekolah yang dilakukan oleh pengawas sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, dan (3) Evaluasi pengawas sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Proses perencanaan diawali dengan koordinasi dan rapat tim kerja pengawas, yaitu penentuan objek dan penentuan instrumen pengawasan, (2) Pelaksanaan supervisi pendidikan dilakukan dengan berbagai kegiatan, yaitu: pengawas melakukan kunjungan ke sekolah sasaran, melakukan supervisi terhadap penilaian, memberikan bimbingan dan konsultasi permasalahan dengan kendala di lapangan, memeriksa administrasi pembelajaran guru, perencanaan pembelajaran guru, memberikan tugas lokakarya dan bimbingan teknis sehingga dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, (3) Instrumen Evaluasi Kinerja dan instrumen pengawasan digunakan untuk menilai profesionalisme guru. Seluruh kegiatan yang dilakukan akan menjadi tolak ukur dalam menentukan program pelaksanaan pengawasan pendidikan di sekolah dan dengan pengawasan pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh pengawas sekolah, profesionalisme guru dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

This bibliometric study explores the trends and focus of research in the field of service management in inclusive education. By analyzing publication patterns, key themes, collaboration networks and geographical distribution, this study provides a comprehensive picture of the state and development of research in this field. The study used data from Scopus and Web of Science databases in the period 1999-2024, analyzing 1,247 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The methodology included keyword co-occurrence analysis, co-citation analysis, and network visualization using VOSviewer software. The findings indicate significant and growing interest, with a notable increase in publications over the past decade, reflecting the global prioritization of inclusive education. Key themes such as inclusive education, disability, curriculum and teacher training emerged as central to the discourse, highlighting the multidisciplinary and practical nature of the research. The research also revealed substantial international collaboration, identifying influential researchers and institutions driving the field. The United States, United Kingdom and Australia emerged as key research centers, with strong networks of collaboration across the globe. Despite the progress, there are still gaps in areas such as the role of technology, its impact on students without disabilities, and evaluation of program effectiveness, indicating directions for future research. Insights from this research can inform policy makers, practitioners and researchers, contributing to the advancement of inclusive education practices and ensuring equitable and high-quality education for all students.

Abstract

This study examines the critical role of principal leadership in fostering an effective school culture at SMA Negeri X in South Jakarta. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, participant observations, and document analysis. The findings highlight the principal's adoption of a democratic and transformative leadership style, focusing on collaboration among stakeholders, establishing a clear vision, and promoting teacher and student development. Key strategies include fostering harmonious relationships, ensuring a safe and conducive school environment, implementing discipline, and nurturing a competitive and religious culture. The principal's leadership practices have significantly contributed to a positive school climate, characterized by improved student academic performance, strong teacher engagement, and active community involvement. These findings emphasize the pivotal role of visionary and participative leadership in building a robust educational culture. While the study is limited to one institution, it provides a foundation for further research into the relationship between leadership styles and school culture across diverse educational contexts.
