Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of the Ruang GTK (Teacher and Education Personnel Room) in improving teacher competence at SD Negeri 1 Cikeris, Purwakarta. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the underutilization of the Ruang GTK platform at the elementary school level due to limited digital literacy, inadequate facilities, and weak organizational and supervisory systems at the school level. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising activities related to the Ruang GTK management. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using an interactive model. The results show that the planning of Ruang GTK activities is already aligned with teachers’ professional development needs but lacks a systematic needs assessment. The organizing aspect is still informal without clear task distribution and structured organizational roles. Implementation of activities runs well and is well-received by teachers, though constrained by limited facilities and infrastructure. Supervision has been carried out informally but lacks a structured evaluation system. Overall, the management of Ruang GTK at SD Negeri 1 Cikeris shows potential as a strategic medium for teacher professional development if strengthened with systematic planning, formal organizing, adequate facilities, and measurable evaluation mechanisms. Keywords: management, Ruang GTK, teacher competence, elementary school, professional development

Abstract

The implementation of inclusive schools is a strategic effort in realizing fair, quality, and friendly educational services for all students without discrimination. The success of the inclusion school program is largely determined by the principal's leadership in designing policies, managing resources, and building an inclusive school culture. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the principal's leadership in realizing the inclusion school program at 2 Nangewer State Elementary School, Darangdan District, Purwakarta Regency. This study uses a case study approach with qualitative research methods. The data collection method was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving school principals, teachers, education staff, parents, and other related parties. Data analysis techniques are carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, while data validity is tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that (1) the leadership of the school principal has implemented through participatory inclusion program planning, teacher competency development, provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and the creation of an inclusive school climate and culture; (2) The principal plays the role of an educator, manager, motivator, and supervisor in encouraging the implementation of adaptive and friendly learning for students with special needs. However, the implementation of the inclusive school program still faces several obstacles, such as limited human resources, special support facilities, and uneven understanding of teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen policies, improve the competence of educators, and collaborate with various parties to optimize the implementation of inclusive schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the learning digitalization policy in improving 21st century skills at SDN 1 Sukamanah. Along with the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 era, schools are required to integrate technology in managerial and pedagogical processes. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with principals and teachers, field observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using miles and huberman. The results of the study show that: (1) Planning is carried out by integrating the vision of digitalization into the KOS and RKAS documents with the long-term target of developing multimedia spaces by 2026; (2) Organizing is carried out through the formation of a Media Team and the division of additional ICT tasks for teachers through SKBM to build a collaborative culture; (3) Implementation is shown through the use of Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) devices and digital platforms such as Quizizz and Canva to hone students' creativity and critical thinking; (4) Evaluation is carried out through monthly meetings and coaching clinics to overcome internet infrastructure barriers. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that the effectiveness of the implementation of digitalization policies in realizing students' 21st century skills is highly dependent on the consistent synchronization of POAC management stages. The success of digital transformation does not only rely on the availability of infrastructure, but also on strengthening systematic and sustainable school managerial governance.
