Abstrak: Gambaran Jamur Candida albicans Pada Saliva Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe2 Di Puskesmas Harapan Baru Samarinda. Diabetes melitus (DM) adalah penyakit kronis yang dapat diderita seumur hidup yang disebabkan oleh gangguan metabolisme. Penderita DM dengan hiperglikemia dapat mempengaruhi akumulasi saliva yang berhubungan dengan asam basa mulut (pH). Flora normal saliva dalam rongga mulut terdiri dari bakteri seperti Streptococcus sp dan jamur seperti Candida albicans. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya jamur C.albicans pada saliva penderita DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Harapan Baru. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 33 sampel saliva penderita DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Harapan Baru Samarinda dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel diidentifikasi secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Data akan dianalisis secara univariat. Karakteristik responden berdasarkan usia penderita DM persentase tertinggi positif jamur C.albicans pada rentang usia 45-59 tahun sebanyak 12 (52%), pada rentang usia 60-70 tahun 5 (50%); jenis kelamin penderita DM persentase tertinggi positif jamur C.albicans pada perempuan yaitu 15 (58%), laki-laki 2 (29%). Hasil kadar glukosa darah sewaktu penderita DM yang terinfeksi C.abicans didapatkan berada diatas normal ≥ 200 mg/dl yaitu 33 (100%). Hasil penelitian negatif jamur C.albicans 48% dengan pertumbuhan jamur Candida non albicans 12 responden dan tidak ditemukan pertumbuhan jamur sebanyak 4 responden. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hasil positif jamur C.albicans 52%.

Abstrak: Gambaran Angka Lempeng Total Bakteri Pada Jajanan Pentol Bakar Yang Dijual Di Wilayah Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang Kota Samarinda. Pentol bakar adalah produk pangan yang bahan utamanya terbuat dari olahan daging dan bahan lainnya. Batas maksimum cemaran mikroba pada bakso daging menurut SNI 3818:2014 untuk nilai ALT adalah 1 × 105 koloni/g. Faktor terjadinya kontaminasi pada pentol bakar dapat melalui udara, debu jalan, penyiapan, pengolahan serta penyajian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah koloni bakteri pada jajanan pentol bakar yang dijual di wilayah Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif observasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah secara accidental dengan jumlah sampel dari 7 pedagang. Sampel pentol bakar diambil lalu dilakukan pemeriksaan Angka Lempeng Total dengan metode tuang menggunakan media PCA. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan hasil dalam berbentuk tabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil dari 7 sampel tidak memenuhi syarat sesuai SNI 3818:2014 dengan hasil tertinggi pada kode sampel S1 (2,8 x 107 koloni/g). Persentase Angka Lempeng Total bakteri pada pentol bakar yang dijual di wilayah Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang Kota Samarinda yang tidak memenuhi syarat sesuai SNI 3818;2014 yaitu 100% sesuai SNI nomor 3818 tahun 2014. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa jajanan pentol bakar yang dijual di wilayah Kecamatan Sungai Kunjang Kota Samarinda tidak memenuhi syarat sesuai SNI nomor 3818 tahun 2014.

This study aimed to determine the effect of using interactive media animated videos assisted by Doratoon through the TPACK approach on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda on ecosystem material. This type of research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with a research design, namely non-equivalent control group design. The results obtained from the N-Gain test showed the Mean N-Gain value in the experimental class was 0.40 and in the control class was 0.32 which was included in the moderate category and the results of the T-test with a significance value of 0.014 <0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using interactive media animated videos assisted by Doratoon through the TPACK approach on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda on ecosystem material.

Grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Bontang experienced problems of low biology learning outcomes and lack of collaboration skills due to conventional teacher-centered learning. This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model on students' collaboration skills and learning outcomes. The CTL model emphasizes active student involvement in the learning process, connecting material with real-life contexts, and encouraging collaboration and group discussion. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling, with class X5 as the experimental class implementing the CTL model and class X6 as the control class using conventional methods. Data analysis was carried out using the N-Gain test and the Independent Sample t Test. The results showed that the experimental class had an N-Gain value of 0.72 (high category) while the control class had 0.59 (moderate category). The t test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 for collaboration skills and learning outcomes. These results indicate a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class after the CTL model was implemented. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the CTL model has a positive and significant effect on improving the collaboration skills and learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Bontang in biology subjects.

Onikomikosis atau dikenal sebagai infeksi jamur kuku ditemukan di seluruh dunia dengan angka kejadian cukup tinggi di Indonesia. Infeksi jamur pada kuku dapat disebabkan oleh jamur dermatofita, non dermatofita dan yeast. Petani merupakan pekerjaan yang berisiko terjadinya onikomikosis karena lingkungan kerja yang berair mendukung terjadinya infeksi jamur pada kuku. Penggunaan alas kaki yang tertutup dalam waktu lama juga akan merangsang tumbuhnya jamur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan penggunaan alas kaki terhadap prevalensi tumbuhnya jamur penyebab onikomikosis pada petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 60 kuku kaki petani dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan pengambilan kuku kaki pada petani di Kelurahan Handil Bakti Palaran. Metode pemeriksaan dilakukan pengamatan makroskopis dengan kultur jamur pada media SDA (Sabouraud Dextrose Agar) dan pengamatan mikroskopis dengan pembuatan slide kultur. Analisa data menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan jamur yang paling banyak menyebabkan onikomikosis dari golongan non dermatofita yaitu Aspergillus sp (60,0%) dan golongan dermatofita yaitu Trichophyton sp (10,0%). Jamur penyebab onikomikosis pada petani yang menggunakan alas kaki sebesar 36,7% dan yang tidak menggunakan alas kaki sebesar 48,3% dengan analisis statistik p-value sebesar 0,026 (<0,05), maka disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap alas kaki dengan kejadian onikomikosis. Petani diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya penggunaan alas kaki dan selalu menjaga pola hidup bersih dan sehat saat bekerja.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model using Educaplay media on the critical thinking skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda in the 2024/2025 academic year. This type of research is quasi-experimental using a non-equivalent control group design. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 26 students each for the experimental class and the control class. The data analysis techniques used were the N-Gain test and the independent sample t-test. The results of the data analysis showed that the N-Gain value of critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class with an average of 0.41 was included in the moderate category, and the control class was 0.32 in the moderate category. The results of the hypothesis showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.028 (<0.05) for critical thinking skills, where the sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05 so it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model using Educaplay media has a significant effect on the critical thinking skills of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Samarinda. This finding shows that the integration of PBL with digital interactive media can be an effective alternative to improve students' critical thinking skills.

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the combination of cassava leaf extract Adira 1 (Manihot esculenta Crantz) and singkil leaves (Premna pubescens Blume) as a botanical pesticide against the intensity of insect pest attacks on land spinach (Ipomoea reptans Poir). The study was conducted from March to April 2025 in Girimukti Village, Penajam District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency. This study used an experimental method with a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five concentration treatment levels (0%, 20%, 35%, 50%, and 65%), each repeated five times, so that there were 25 experimental units. The parameters observed were the level of leaf damage due to pest attacks which were measured weekly. Data were analyzed using one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and continued with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the analysis showed that the extract concentration treatment had a significant effect on reducing the intensity of pest attacks. Treatment with a concentration of 65% showed the highest effectiveness in reducing leaf damage due to pest attacks compared to other treatments. The conclusion of this study is that the combination of cassava leaf extract and singkil leaf has the potential to be an effective botanical pesticide and can be an alternative to chemical pesticides in sustainable agricultural systems.

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by flipbook media on the topic of ecosystems and their interactions on the critical thinking skills of tenth-grade students at MAN 2 Samarinda. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The analysis results showed that the N-Gain value in the experimental class was 0.57 (medium category), higher than that in the control class. The independent sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of implementing a PBL model assisted by flipbook media on students' critical thinking skills. These findings indicate that the use of a flipbook-based PBL model is effective in improving critical thinking skills in biology learning.

Technology-based learning is crucial for 21st-century education to improve digital literacy and student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of Game Based Learning (GBL) assisted by educaplay on digital literacy and learning outcomes of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Samarinda on the topic of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. This study involved 64 students as samples, divided into experimental and control classes. The research instruments included essay questions for cognitive learning outcomes and questionnaires for digital literacy. The results showed significant differences between the two groups. The average cognitive posttest of the experimental class (79.5) was substantially higher than that of the control class (68.8), with an N-gain value of 0.52 (moderate category). The increase in digital literacy in the experimental class was also significant, from an average of 107.5 to 145.69. The t-test confirmed the significance value (p<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that Game-Based Learning (GBL) supported by educaplay is effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes and digital literacy skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of major background and learning interest on the learning outcomes of grade XI students in Biology at SMA IT Granada Samarinda. The background of this study is based on the importance of understanding internal and external factors that can influence student academic achievement, especially in subjects that require high-level thinking skills such as Biology. This study uses a non-experimental quantitative approach with an ex post facto method and multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The instrument used is a closed Likert-scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The sample consisted of 55 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using prerequisite tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), then processed with the help of the SPSS version 25 program at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that both major background and learning interest significantly influence student learning outcomes, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R2) value of 47.3% indicates that variations in student learning outcomes can be explained by the two independent variables. These findings indicate that selecting a major that aligns with the subject's characteristics and fostering learning interest can be effective strategies for student learning outcomes in Biology.
