Abstract

Singkong merupakan tanaman yang memiliki banyak manfaat, salah satunya adalah bahan pangan pokok setelah beras. Namun sayangnya potensi yang terkandung dalam tanaman singkong belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Memperhatikan produksi singkong di Indonesia yang mencapai 21 juta ton pada tahun 2015, singkong dengan bagian kulit memiliki porsi 20% dari tiap kilogram umbi singkong, maka terdapat kurang lebih 4 juta ton kulit singkong yang terbuang menjadi limbah.Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan afuntuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat sasaran bagaimana mengolah limbah kulit singkong menjadi bahan makanan yang sehat dan aman dikonsumsi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini dibuat dalam 2 tahap yaitu tahap pendekatan yang dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi masalah dan melakukan sosialisasi di lokasi sasaran serta tahapan pelaksanaan pengolahan limbah kulit singkong. Setelah dilakukan pengolahan hasil yang diperoleh adalah limbah kulit singkong dapat diolah menjadi makanan ringan yang sehat dan aman untuk dikonsumsi manusia.

Abstract

The 4.0 industrial revolution era requires teachers to have a number of characteristics to arrange an appropriate learning administration, be able to design learning media by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices wisely, effectively, competently and professionally. However there are still many problems that hamper the implementation of teacher professional competence in the field of ICT. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive or significant effect between the use of ICT devices on improving teacher professional competence. This type of research is correlational with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were35 elementary school teachers. Data were collected through questionnaire technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of ICT devices on increasing the professional competence of group of Elementary School Teachers, with 0.60correlation coefficient. T test results show that tcount>ttable which is 4.31> 2.235. The contribution of ICT tools use to the improvement ofprofessional competence of group of elementary school teachers at Ruteng is 36.05% and 63.95% is influenced by other variables which were not examined by researchers.

Abstract

This study mainly aims to determine the effect of the use of audiovisual media on learning outcomes of fourth grade students at MIS Amanah Ruteng in the 2018/2019 school year. This research includes quantitative research, with the type of experimental research. The design in this study was the prepostest control group design. The sampling technique is done by total sampling, which the entire population of fourth grade is used as a sample. The research sample consisted of 21 students of 4thA grade as the control class and 21 students of 4thB grade as the experimental class. The data collection technique in this study was a multiple choice test technique with 30 instruments. The results of the validity test contained 26 valid items and 4 items were invalid with a reliability of 0.932. Based on the results of the analysis showed the value of tcount was 7.38 and the value of ttable was 2.02 at a significance level of 0.05. The calculation results showed the value of tcount 7.38 > 2.02 ttable. This shows that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that science learning assisted by audiovisual media was proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Cassava is a plant that has many benefits, one of which is the staple food after rice. But unfortunately the cassava maximum potential has not been fully utilized, one of them is the cassava peel. Regarding the production of cassava in Indonesia reached 21 million tons in 2015 with the peel has its share of 20% of each kilogram of cassava roots, then there are approximately 4 million tons of cassava peel turns into waste. The aims of this community service programs is to provide knowledge and training to communities, how to process the waste of cassava peel into healthy and safe groceries to eat. The method used in this activity is made in two phases: first is to identify problems and socializing in the target area as well as the implementation stages of how to processing the waste of cassava peel iinto healthy groceries. After processing the results obtained are cassava peel waste can be processed into snacks that are healthy and safe for human consumption.

Abstract

Application of Scientific Approach in Primary Schools. The rationale for this research is the discovery of problems related to the low ability of students to present report texts based on observations. based on these problems offered a solution that is the use of a scientific approach, which approach has a characteristic that is a series of processes or stages in learning that must be passed by students. the use of this approach is considered effective to provide solutions to the problems encountered. This approach was chosen because of the recommendations of previous studies. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the use of scientific approaches in elementary schools. this type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The results showed that the use of a scientific approach in learning can be said to be effective. This can be seen in students' progress in preparing reports based on observations. in addition, students follow well the stages of the scientific approach in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the challenges and obstacles faced by elementary school classroom teachers in implementing the remote learning process and the efforts that classroom teachers can take to continue to meet the learning needs of elementary school students in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is literature study by utilizing secondary data from previous research from scientific articles related to the topic being studied. The data were analyzed qualitatively by adopting the data analysis model from Miles and Hubermann. The results showed that distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic experienced various obstacles, especially if it was based on online learning. These obstacles are in the form of technological inequality, digital competence, socio-economic conditions, difficulties in monitoring and evaluation as well as the increasing workload of teachers converting material into electronic form. However, there are several efforts made by elementary school teachers to overcome the learning difficulties of their students. In general, these solutions are divided into two broad groups, namely offline and semi-online. Offline is carried out with home visits / door to door, limited face-to-face learning according to schedule by implementing strict health protocols, and taking assignments to school so that they can still control student learning progress. Semi-online can be done by using the instant messaging application WhatsApp and the use of delayed video learning.
