Abstract

This study aims to implement a Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) for diagnosis and recommendations for the maintenance and repair of machines in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Polman Negeri Bangka Belitung. The research begins with the process of collecting data for knowledge bases related to the maintenance and repair cases of these machines. Furthermore, the data is modeled based on its attributes. The cases that have been modeled are input into the CBR system by applying the similarity function of weighted sum and Euclidean distance. The higher the similarity between a new case and cases that have been stored on a case base, the more suitable the solution on a case base can be applied in other cases. The results obtained were 5 case bases, i.e. the base case of flat grinding machines, the case base of lathe machines, the case base of milling machines, the case base of CNC machines, and the case base of the welding machines. The results of the CBR system are able to diagnose the causes of problems with machines through the symptoms of problems that occur and able to provide recommendations for the maintenance and repair of these machines.

Abstract

Currently, the lecturer performance data based on IAPS 4.0 at Polman Babel are still not integrated yet and still collected in Microsoft Excel. This study aims to develop Lecturer Performance Information Systems Based on IAPS 4.0 that can assist the preparation and management of IAPS 4.0-based lecturer performance. This study follows the Systems Development Life Cycle includes planning and preparation, system analysis, system design, development,  testing, and deployment. The system is developed using PHP programming language, MySql database, Codeigniter Framework, Bootstrap Framework for CSS, and the Guzzle library to create a REST Client that accesses the Google Scholar REST API. System testing in this study uses black-box testing to test system functionality. The functionality testing shows that the functionality of the system is 100% successful and accepted by stakeholders.

Abstract

Mental health is important because mentality greatly influences a person's quality of life. The mental hospital is the only government agency that provides MMPI test services in Bangka Belitung. The MMPI is a self-report inventory of 550 true/false items that have historically been used to assess test takers' personalities, as well as their personal and social adjustments. The obstacle faced at this RSJ is that it still uses a manual registration system to carry out registration services for participants who take the MMPI test. Automatically this causes an accumulation of registrants who want to register, especially since the registration system used still uses paper forms. Based on these problems, an information system is needed to facilitate registration and data collection. The method used is the prototype method which consists of the stages of gathering requirements, building prototypes, evaluating, coding and testing. System design is carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method which consists of Use Cases, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Activity diagrams. System testing is carried out using the UAT BlackBox Testing method and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results of the BlackBox test show that 100% of the system works perfectly, while the TAM test shows that 88.22% of respondents feel the system is easy to use and not complicated, 85.33% of respondents have an interest in using the system, and 88.33% of respondents feel the system provides benefits and has used for the registration process.

Abstract

Paid Leave is one of the rights of worker for their absence from office due to different reasons such as sickness, marriage, vacation, or personal time and employees still receive regular wages during their absence from work in a certain period of time. Nowadays, in Polman Babel the paid leave system is still doing manually by filling out the paid leave application form provided by each work unit. After filling out the form, the relevant employees must submit the form to its each head of unit and then wait for confirmation for several days to find out the status of the submitted paid leave application. Every incoming paid leave application data is still not computerized well then it takes a long time to manage the data. To overcome this problem, researchers intend to develop a Website-Based Polmanbabel Paid Leave Submission System that can simplify and save time in making paid leave applications. To obtain data, researchers used observation techniques and interviews directly to related parties. System design is made using the waterfall method because it has a systematic and sequential approach. The stages of the waterfall method are requirements analysis, design, code and testing. The result of this research is a website-based paid leave application information system that can facilitate users in applying for paid leave, accepting or rejecting paid leave applications and viewing paid leave history that has been submitted by related workers before. System testing uses the black box testing method with the result that 100% of the system can run well and user acceptance testing with the result that 89.6% of users strongly agree with this system.

Abstract

Sanggar Pesona Wangka is a place for dance and music activities that have an important role in preserving Bangka Belitung culture. Sanggar Pesona Wangka also provides dance equipment rental. The process of renting dance equipment is still conducted conventionally so it takes longer. Another obstacle faced is the difficulty for tenants to obtain information regarding the availability of the dance equipment they need to rent. The conventional rent system is also considered inefficient because tenants must come to the studio to meet with the owner and directly select the dance equipment to be rented. This study aims to design and develop a website-based dance equipment rental system for Sanggar Pesona Wangka to facilitate the processing of the required data into accurate and easily accessible information for prospective tenants. The system implements a SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method-based decision support system that can provide the best customer recommendations based on 2 criteria, namely the number of transactions and total transaction costs. Methods of data collection in this study using observation and interview methods. For system development using the prototype method with the programming language PHP and MySQL. System testing is implemented the black box testing and user acceptance testing methods. The test results show that the system runs 100% as expected. Meanwhile, from the results of user acceptance testing, it was obtained 92.6% percentage that conclude the system was feasible to use.

Abstract

Adhwa Beauty Care is a beauty clinic in Pangkalpinang that aims to address administrative complexity by developing an Online Consultation Information System using prototype development methods and the CodeIgniter 3 framework. This research aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of facial consultation and treatment reservations by reducing delays and potential errors. The system enables directed online consultations, providing appropriate answers and treatments while addressing clinic data management issues. The system's implementation assists Adhwa Beauty Care in improving operational efficiency, preventing miscommunication, and delivering more targeted services. This study contributes to the development of an online consultation system to support modern beauty clinics.

Abstract

Currently, technological developments continue to develop rapidly so that more and more digitalization is used by people around the world to carry out activities in various aspects, one of which is village digitalization which is used for community service activities. The village used as the research object is Karya Makmur village which is located in Pemali District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Karya Makmur Village faces challenges in aligning population administration processes with developments in information technology. Implementation of a population administration service system that is integrated with online mail services, payment of village fees using QR-Code, and deadline reminders via WhatsApp Gateway are strategic solutions to improve service quality. In contrast to previous research which still focused on manual systems, this research offers an innovative digital approach to simplify the administrative service process at the village level. The method applied involves direct observation, interviews and literature studies to understand the population administration service system. The Prototyping Method is a method used as a systematic development method. The results of the evaluation of the population administration service system using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method show that this system can be considered feasible and effective for use with a success percentage reaching 95.38 percent. Thus, this population administration system makes the process of providing services to the community in Karya Makmur village more efficient.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Bakam is a vocational education institution that has an important role in supporting education in Bakam District. Every year, SMK Negeri 1 Bakam carries out Industrial Work Practice (PRAKERIN) with a monitoring system that is currently still carried out manually, using notebooks and printed forms. In addition, the assessment to determine the best students has not been well structured. To overcome these problems, the school seeks to develop a computerized system for monitoring and assessing the best students of industrial work practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in the process of monitoring and assessing student performance. This best student monitoring and assessment system for industrial work practices was developed based on a website equipped with a mobile attendance feature that utilizes the Global Positioning System (GPS) to monitor student attendance in real-time. The development of the system was carried out with a prototype method and integrated the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for student assessment based on criteria such as attendance, learning progress, final report, and professional attitude. The results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) test show a user acceptance rate of 83.9 percent, which indicates that this system is functioning properly. This system is expected to increase efficiency in monitoring industrial work practices and provide an objective and transparent assessment of the best students.
