Abstract

Cheering the smallest price of several piles of fruit prices is a fruit-selling strategy to get more consumers. This study aims to understand the description of the smallest price cheers on the fruit sales strategy against the view of fiqh muamalah. What attracts buyers so that they decide to buy and how their interest is raised by hearing price cheers. This is field research conducted in Batusangkar Market. The research employed qualitative descriptive research methods and the research data were obtained from sellers and fruit buyers who shout the smallest price cheer. Data retrieval techniques used in-depth interviews and direct observation of buyers. Interviews were conducted face-to-face with the informants until the same information was obtained. The results show that the strategy of cheering the lowest price from several prices based on piles of fruit quality serves as a driving force and attracts consumers. This strategy is closer to bay' najasy which can drive buyers to buy their merchandise. Therefore, buyers or sellers must ensure that the price they are shouting represents the fruit piles that are visible. When a buyer approaches the place of merchandise, he/she could clearly see the goods being traded.

Abstract

The main problem in this reserch is that unemployment, economic growth and inflation influence poverty, but the data found fluctuates. The purpose of this discussion is to analyze how much the unemployment rate, economic growth and inflation influence the poverty level in provinces in the Sumatra region. This type of research is quantitative. The data collection technique used is documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this test are multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing with the help of the SPSS Version 25 program. From the research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the unemployment variable has a significant effect on poverty levels. Meanwhile, the variables economic growth and inflation do not have a significant effect on the poverty level. However, based on joint tests, it shows that unemployment, economic growth and inflation do not have a significant effect on the poverty level which is caused by the weak influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable and the presence of other factors that are more influential such as the level of education, health and access to infrastructure.

Abstract

The potential for zakat in Dharmasraya Regency is very large, especially from the oil palm plantation sector which dominates the regional economy. However, zakat collection from this sector is not optimal, especially in Nagari Sitiung, Sitiung District, which has around 402 oil palm farmers with a land area of 2,375 hectares. One of the challenges faced is the lack of understanding and lack of data collection regarding zakat obligations among oil palm farmers. This research aims to analyze the potential for zakat that can be collected from the oil palm plantation sector in Nagari Sitiung and identify the efforts made by the Dharmasraya Regency National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) in maximizing zakat collection from the oil palm plantation sector. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with field research methods, which involves interviews with oil palm farmers and BAZNAS amil Dharmasraya Regency, as well as documentation related to zakat potential and data on oil palm plantations in Nagari Sitiung. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Source and method triangulation techniques are used to verify the validity of the data. The research results show that the zakat potential from the oil palm plantation sector in Nagari Sitiung reaches around IDR 1,953,213,750 per year, with around 68% of farmers meeting the requirements to pay zakat. BAZNAS Dharmasraya Regency has made various efforts to maximize zakat collection, both through direct approaches (socialization, formation of UPZ, and religious studies) and indirectly (the "One Bunch of Palm Oil for the Poor" program and the use of social media). Even though these efforts have been made, several obstacles, such as limited human resources and facilities, are still challenges in expanding zakat collection from the palm oil sector.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of zakat as an economic empowerment instrument in addressing social and economic inequalities in Indonesia and Malaysia. These two countries have different zakat management systems, influenced by their social, cultural, and regulatory characteristics. Specifically, this research examines three main aspects: the readiness of zakat institutions' infrastructure in supporting the economic empowerment of the poor, the impact of social and economic disparities on zakat distribution effectiveness, and the influence of cultural and social values on the acceptance and utilization of zakat. The findings show that in Indonesia, despite the legal framework supporting zakat management through BAZNAS (National Zakat Agency) and Zakat Management Organizations (LAZ), zakat collection remains limited, with inadequate infrastructure and imbalanced distribution. Public distrust and operational challenges such as high administrative costs and a lack of transparency hinder the effectiveness of zakat as an empowerment tool. In contrast, Malaysia, with a more centralized zakat system through the State Islamic Religious Councils, shows higher compliance levels and more efficient zakat management, although challenges in equitable distribution still exist. Additionally, cultural and social values play a crucial role in enhancing or inhibiting zakat acceptance. In Indonesia, high levels of religiosity and strong social norms encourage zakat compliance, but poor management practices and lack of transparency reduce public participation. In Malaysia, the integration of zakat with the taxation system provides fiscal incentives, raising awareness and improving compliance. This study recommends the need for reforms in zakat management, alongside improved transparency and communication to enhance public trust, allowing zakat to be more effective in empowering the economy and reducing social inequality.

Abstract

Abstract

Data on the percentage of financing distribution to sharia banks in Indonesia in the last 5 years has experienced quite slow growth compared to the percentage of loan distribution by fintech lending which has experienced very significant growth, reaching 2,390.4% from 2018 to February 2023. The literature shows that there are two opposing views regarding the influence of fintech lending on banking. On the one hand, fintech plays an important role in increasing financial inclusion, while on the other hand fintech also has a major impact on the financial services industry. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of fintech lending on financing at Islamic banks in Indonesia and to analyze the impact of fintech lending on Islamic banks in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data taken from the official website of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in the form of statistical data on sharia banks and fintech lending. The number of samples used was 60 financial report data obtained from sample selection through purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis with a linear regression analysis model. The results of this research show that 88.9% of fintech lending has an influence on sharia bank financing in Indonesia. In the sense that fintech lending companies exist as complements or complements to sharia banks in providing financial loans to the public, therefore fintech lending can be an opportunity for collaboration for the sharia banking industry in Indonesia. This collaboration can be carried out using several patterns or models, including cooperation through cross-selling schemes, channeling, references, shadow investors, outsourcing platforms and fintech consortiums.
