Abstract

During this pandemic, parents have duties as substitute teachers as in school institutions; parents provide learning and assistance so that children’s interest in education learning does not decrease even though the learning process is carried out from their respective homes. This study aims to learn more about how the learning process is carried out during the pandemic and parental involvement in early childhood education at RA Muslimat NU 007 Gandu I. This research is qualitative with a case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. At the same time, the data analysis used in this study is a qualitative data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. Based on the research, it was found that the learning process during this pandemic RA Muslimat NU 007 Gandu I was carried out in a hybrid learning by combining online and offline. While, parental involvement in the learning process included: First, parenting activities; second, communication with teachers and schools (PAUD), third, mentoring activities for learning from home; and fourth, involved in making decisions through associations and school committees. These various forms of parental involvement significantly help children’s learning activities at home.

Abstract

The new normal era resulted in many factors, including early childhood education institutions, such as the Primagama Kindergarten in Yogyakarta. The life and death of an institution lie in how the marketing of the educational institution is. This study aims to describe the marketing strategy, impact, and marketing barriers of Primagama Yogyakarta Kindergarten in the New Normal Era. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. They were collecting data by observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis uses the Milles and Huberman model. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. This study indicates that the marketing of the Primagama Yogyakarta Kindergarten institution begins with building a brand with show ups, collaboration with TV stations, radio, mass media, and active social media. Furthermore, the marketing of Primagama Kindergarten begins with market research, determining various strategies such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and website and controlling by collecting suggestions from various parties. The era of the marketing pandemic is carried out by maximizing social media. The marketing impact of the pandemic era is the lack of offline customers. This is because there are obstacles in the pandemic era, including the limitation of meeting face to face, the government's appeal for a ban on face-to-face contact, and the declining purchasing power of the people. The research findings contribute to marketing strategies for early childhood education institutions in the pandemic era that can use social media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the combination game between ball and obstacles to stimulate gross motorik development of children aged 4-6 years. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design using single group pre-test and post-test types. The object of study is children aged 4-6 years at RA Riyadussalihin Moyudan Sleman, and the total population is 41 children who are then taken all as research samples. The data collection method is based on the results of the test observations before being given treatment and the post-test results after being given treatment. Based on the study results, it was found that there was an effect of the application of the combination game of ball and obstacle on the gross motorik development of children aged 4-6 years. As evidenced by the statistical test results, they were 0.001 for the aspect of throwing strength, 0.019 for the accuracy of catching the ball, and 0.000 for the agility aspect of overcoming obstacles. The statistical test results of the three factors are overall smaller than 0.05. It means that there are differences in the pre-test and post-test results. The ball and obstacles game affects children's gross motor development. This research contributes to understanding the effectiveness of ball and obstacle games for stimulating children's gross motor development. It can be a reference for learning programs and fostering children's motor development.

Abstract

Di era modern ini, minat anak untuk mempelajari ilmu agama masih rendah, sebagian besar karena peran orang tua dalam mendidik tidak sekuat di masa lalu. Orang tua cenderung lebih santai dalam memberikan pendidikan, terutama dalam hal keagamaan, dan lebih membebaskan anak dalam bersosialisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk memahami penanaman nilai pendidikan agama Islam oleh orang tua di Desa Siwalan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Miles and Huberman, dengan triangulasi untuk memastikan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai pendidikan agama Islam dapat dilakukan dengan membiasakan anak mengucapkan basmallah sebelum aktivitas. Proses ini dimulai sejak bayi, ketika orang tua memberikan contoh, sehingga anak terbiasa mengucapkan basmallah saat sudah bisa berbicara. Pembiasaan ini membuat anak lebih mengingat Allah dan menganggap aktivitas yang diawali basmallah sebagai ibadah, menambah keberkahan dalam hidup mereka.
