Abstract

A study on the effect of temperature and time of pasteurization on the milk quality during storage was carried out using fresh milk. The aim of the experiment was to asses the storage time of pasteurized milk for consumption without nutrient losses. A completely randomized factorial design, 2 x 8 was used, with pasteurization temperature (T), consisted of 2 levels, the low temperature long time (LTLT), i.e. fresh milk was warmed at 65oC for 30 minutes (T1) and the high temperature short time (HTST), i.e. fresh milk was warmed at 71oC for 15 seconds (T2); and storage time (S), consisted of 8 levels, i.e. 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 21 hours respectively, as the factors, with 3 replicates. Parameters measured were alcohol test, water, fat, and protein concentrations, and microbial population of pasteurized milk during storage. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and simple linear regression. The result showed that water and fat concentrations and microbial population was not significantly different (P>0.05) in pasteurization temperature treatment, but was significantly different (P<0.05) due to storage time treatment. Meanwhile, the protein concentration was significantly different (P<0.05) either in pasteurization temperature or storage time. It was concluded that pasteurized milk was still suitable for consumption at 15-21 hours storage, while protein concentration tended to be better when was pasteurized at 65oC.   Key words: Pasteurized milk, storage quality

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Angka kejadian kasus HIV/AIDS di Kota Pontianak menduduki posisi pertama SeKalimantanBarat sebanyak 2759 orang positif HIV dan yang dinyatakan menderita AIDS sebanyak1422 orang. Belum ada obat yang mampu menyembuhkan HIV/AIDS. Hal tersebut mengakibatkanterjadinya perubahan fisik serta stigma yang masih ada di masyarakat menyebabkan tekanan psikologispada pasien HIV/AIDS berupa respon berduka terhadap penyakitnya. Peran perawat membantumencari jalan keluar atau membantu menentukan keputusan, dalam hal ini tentang HIV/AIDS. Tujuan: Mengetahui peran perawat sebagai konselor terhadap respon berduka pasien HIV/AIDS diRSJD Sungai Bangkong Pontianak.Metode: Menggunakan rancangan quasy eksperiment dengan pre test and post test without controlgroup. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling berjumlah 15 responden. Analisamenggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Responden dalam penelitian ini merupakan pasien HIV/AIDS yangmenjalani terapi pengobatan ARV ≤1 tahun.Hasil: Analisa bivariat respon berduka HIV/AIDS sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, didapatkan nilaidenial (p=0,038), anger (p=0,026), bargaining (p=0,026), dan depression (p=0,014). Tidak terdapatpengaruh pada acceptace (p=0,440).Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat pengaruh peran perawat sebagai konselor terhadap respon berduka pasienHIV/AIDS fase acceptace di RSJD Sungai Bangkong Pontianak.Kata Kunci : HIV/AIDS, Respon berduka, Perawat Konselor

Abstract

This research talks about developing music creativity in early educational children in ABA kindergarten, Priwulung,Sleman, Yogyakarta. The method in this research is decriptive qualitative research. It goes to field study. The data was taken from interview, observation, and also collecting data that is supported to this research. The result of this research shows that (1) music can develop the children's intellegency on early educational children in Kindergarten ABA Pringwulung (2). Music can develop creativity and imagination for early educational children, sing a song with move part of the body on early educational children, and can explore aptitude that children have in musically context.

Abstract

Pneumonia is the main health problem and the major causes of children’s death, particularly in children under five years old. Etiology of pneumonia are varried but it is very difficult to identify the etiology of pneumonia in children. The examination of lung’s secretory is very difficult to be performed in children. The examination of leucocyte, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein and procalcitonin level can be used as bacterial infection’s marker to be treated with antibiotics. In addition, procalcitonin clinically proven more sensitive and spesific to identifying the infection caused by bacteria, compare to another marker.Keywords : pneumonia; children; marker; procalcitonin

Abstract

Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan e-learning berbasis weblog terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan termokimia. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 8 Medan yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI.1 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XI.3 (kelas kontrol). Berdasarkan hasil analisa data, diperoleh bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 3,105 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 1,671 pada taraf α = 0,05 dan dk = 62, sehingga thitung>ttabel. Hal ini berarti terima Ha, sehingga dari hasil uji di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan e-learning berbasis weblog dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang diberi pengajaran tanpa e-learning berbasis weblog dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeThink Pair Share (TPS). Adapun aspek kognitif yang berkembang melalui media e-learning berbasis weblog pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). adalah C4 (analisis). .

Abstract

Mathematics often becomes a less favored subject among elementary school students, including those at Inpres Borongrappo Elementary School in Gowa Regency, which is our partner in this Community Service activity. To address this issue, we have innovated by introducing an engaging learning medium in the form of a 3D miniature puzzle Bola Ugi’ implemented using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) method. This educational program aims not only to enhance students' curiosity and creativity but also to sharpen their motor coordination skills. The educational program primarily focuses on creating two-dimensional shapes from cardboard, calculating the volume of three-dimensional objects, and exploring the cultural significance of 'mappatettong bola' and 'mappalette bola.' Additionally, students assemble and color the 3D puzzle Bola Ugi’. The evaluation of activities in the form of a questionnaire to determine students' interest in learning mathematics and becoming acquainted with culture, as well as test models to determine students' level of understanding of mathematics and culture, which are administered before (pre-test) and after (pre-test) the educational program, respectively. The questionnaire results revealed that 16 students were more excited about learning mathematics and 15 students were more enthusiastic about learning about culture. Meanwhile, the exam results reveal a considerable increase in the number of correct responses in each question, indicating that the instruction increased pupils' comprehension of mathematics and culture. The educational program employing the 3D puzzle Bola Ugi’ as learning method significantly enhances motivation and comprehension of mathematics, as evidenced by the improved test scores and questionnaire responses.

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan karena masa pandemi COVID-19 menuntut perubahan dalam strategi pembelajaranya. Salah satu dampak dari pandemi COVID-19 adalah masalah kedisiplinan peserta didik. Penelitian ini berangkat pada masalah kedisiplinan peserta didik yang tidak berangkat ke sekolah meskipun terdapat edaran resmi dari pihak sekolah. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab peserta didik tidak berangkat ke sekolah, melakukan evaluasi intervensi, dan menawarkan gagasan intervensi bagi pembentukan karakter disiplin yang efektif bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Penyakit degeneratif tidak hanya terjadi pada lansia dan dewasa saja, melainkan juga pada remaja jika pola makannya tidak sesuai dengan pedoman gizi seimbang. Pedoman gizi seimbang merupakan kumpulan makanan dan minuman dengan kualitas dan kuantitas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan harian tubuh dengan tetap memperhatikan prinsip keberagaman makanan, aktivitas fisik, perilaku hidup bersih, dan pemantauan berat badan secara teratur. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa/siswi tentang gizi seimbang. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, Focus Groub Discussion (FGD), dan tanya jawab. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner pengetahuan yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa/siswi terkait gizi seimbang dari nilai rata-rata 59% menjadi 85%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah edukasi mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi siswa/siswi sehingga tenaga gizi di puskesmas setempat disarankan untuk turut memberikan edukasi tentang pedoman gizi seimbang pada siswa/siswi agar pencegahan penyakit degeneratif dapat dilakukan sejak dini.
