Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kelayakan media wayang statistik menggunakan realistic mathematics education menurut guru SD. Media wayang statistik menggunakan realistic mathematics education layak untuk digunakan pada materi statistika dengan melihat aspek-aspek dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas IV SDN 1 Kedongdong Kidul, guru kelas IV SDN 1 Cipanas, guru kelas IV SDN 2 Cipanas, guru kelas IV SDN 1 Girinata, guru kelas IV SDN 2 Girinata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional survey desain, dengan menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik, wawancara dan angket. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu media wayang statistik menggunakan realistic mathematics education layak digunakan pada materi pembelajaran statistika, karena media wayang statistik menggunakan realistic mathematics education dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk dapat menarik perhatian siswa dan mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi statistika.

Abstract

This study aims to learn how the students' mathematical connections are and discover the influence of the mathematical connections on students’ motivation in advanced mathematics learning. The population of this research is the second-semester students of a state university in Yogyakarta, and the subject is 84 students. The instrument used was the question sheets on the mathematical connection ability on advanced mathematics materials, the questionnaire instrument, and the interview guidelines related to learning motivation. The data analysis used was the descriptive statistics analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the students’ mathematical connection ability was low, (2) the influence of connection abilities on motivation was very low.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers as motivators in forming disciplined characters in special needs students in grade 4 of SDN 1 Gunungsari Dalam. This study employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to deeply understand the role of teachers in this context. Data collection was carried out through direct observation and unstructured interviews. Observations involved observing daily interactions between teachers and students during learning, while interviews with teachers provided an in-depth understanding of the role of teachers as motivators. The interviewees were one teacher in grade 4 of Elementary School, the principal, and two students with special needs who were the subjects in this study. The study results indicate that students with special needs are granted accommodations during the learning process. In inclusive classrooms, teachers also serve as directors, motivators, and observers. They monitor students' development and offer guidance tailored to each student's requirements and potential. Teachers also establish a positive and inclusive learning environment and motivate students through various methods, such as establishing achievable objectives, dispensing praise, and guiding students based on their interests. Furthermore, the education of children with special needs is significantly influenced by parental support. Parents actively engaged in their children's education can enhance their emotional development and academic performance. At SDN Gunungsari Dalam, parents of students with special needs often communicate with teachers and provide additional support at home. The role of teachers as motivators has proven effective in forming disciplined characters in children with special needs. This study improves discipline in children with special needs and offers a broader range of advantages in inclusive education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi teknik ecoprint sebagai upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat di Blok Jongor, Mundupesisir, Cirebon, dengan fokus pada pelatihan keterampilan untuk anak jalanan dan anak putus sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas peserta melalui pengenalan teknik ecoprint, sekaligus membangun kesadaran akan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 30 Agustus 2024 di Perkumpulan Seni Anak Kalijaga "PUSAKA" dengan melibatkan 10 peserta. Materi pelatihan mencakup dua teknik ecoprint utama, yaitu pounding (pemukulan) dan steaming (pengukusan), menggunakan bahan alami lokal seperti daun pakis, jati, kenikir, dan bunga-bungaan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan tingginya antusiasme peserta dalam mempelajari dan mengaplikasikan teknik ecoprint. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ecoprint tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan baru bagi peserta, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran akan potensi pemanfaatan sumber daya alam lokal. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa teknik ecoprint dapat menjadi sarana pemberdayaan ekonomi dan sosial, serta pelestarian lingkungan di daerah pedesaan, sekaligus menjembatani warisan budaya dengan inovasi kontemporer di sektor tekstil.

Abstract

This collaborative learning aims to improve the quality and quantity of cooperation between universities in eastern Indonesia through the implementation of collaborative online learning. Collaborative online learning training involves six educators who will teach.. Based on the results of a survey that has been conducted, it is stated that IPB Cirebon students still use LMS as a lecture system, while Uniflor students have a face-to-face lecture system. Therefore, a collaborative online learning program (PDK) was carried out between IPB Cirebon and Uniflor. The PDK program is implemented using three stages. These stages include starting from initial studies, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Using stages in the PDK program is the right approach. Active student involvement in every meeting, the development of LMS-based digital teaching materials will be more oriented towards student needs and aspirations. Through active student participation, the PDK program has the potential for better achievements, realizing learning in 2045. Collaborative online learning between two universities can increase digital literacy between students and educators. Collaborative online learning can also develop students' abilities in the 3T area. Through this learning, students can collaborate with other university students.

Abstract

Sensory-motor development is an important aspect in children's growth and development, including the ability to receive, process and respond to various stimuli from the environment. One way that can be used to develop this ability is through dance practice. The aim of this activity is to develop and improve the sensory-motor abilities of elementary school students through traditional dance training. The methods used are training, demonstration and staging methods. Stages of activity results include: (1) introduction to dance and basic movements; (2) basic movement exercises with rhythmic variations; (3) coordination training by adding hand movements and steps; (4) dance exercises involving balance and flexibility movements; (5) practicing expressions according to dance movements; (6) group dance cohesiveness training; (7) repeating dance practice movements; (8) performing the dance that has been learned in front of friends and parents. The conclusion of this activity is that there is development of elementary school students' sensory-motor abilities through traditional dance training.

Abstract

Learning using technology is currently the main thing because it has entered the Society 5.0 era. This community service activity aims to provide opportunities for elementary school teachers in Cirebon City to conduct training on the use of augmented reality-based teaching media to support the development of their creativity and role in the learning process in the classroom. This activity has a target, namely teachers who are members of the Teacher Working Group Forum (FKKG) who are members of the board of directors of a total of 40 teachers from representatives of their respective schools in Cirebon City. This activity aims to: (1) develop the role of teachers in the digital economy era to better master technology in the learning process; (2) providing opportunities for elementary school teachers in Cirebon City to develop creativity in making interesting teaching materials; (3) facilitating teachers in creating digital augmented reality-based teaching materials; (4) utilizing AR technology to present interactive teaching media; and (5) support Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. This service activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method which includes activities that will be carried out ranging from identifying problems (to know), understanding (to understand), acting (to act), making changes (to change). The stages in this activity include (a) socialization and FGD; (b) the training process in several meetings; (c) the application of technology; (d) assistance and evaluation; (e) program sustainability, which provides broad opportunities for teachers to implement AR technology in learning and share knowledge with peers. The results of the training activities had a good response from the participants, including being able to increase the creativity of teachers in compiling AR learning media. In addition, the results of the questionnaire response have a score of 4.45 in the "excellent" category.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi numerasi merupakan fondasi penting bagi pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menuntut siswa berpikir kritis, analitis, dan reflektif terhadap data serta konteks kehidupan nyata. Namun, hasil asesmen nasional menunjukkan rendahnya performa numerasi siswa sekolah dasar di Indonesia, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media digital Wordwall terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design yang melibatkan 92 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes literasi numerasi yang mengukur empat indikator: pemahaman konsep, operasi hitung kontekstual, representasi data, dan penalaran pengambilan keputusan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain dan paired sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan kemampuan literasi numerasi dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 70,52 dan posttest 81,91 serta N-Gain sebesar 0,59 (kategori sedang–tinggi). Uji paired t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest (t = -11,47; p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi PBL dengan Wordwall efektif meningkatkan capaian numerasi siswa. Temuan ini memperkuat teori bahwa kombinasi problem-based learning dan digital teknologi dapat meningkatkan motivasi, retensi konsep, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran numerik. Secara praktis, penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pendidik untuk mengimplementasikan PBL sebagai strategi pembelajaran digital inovatif dalam memperkuat kemampuan literasi dan numerasi di era pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) berbasis snowball drilling dan Jigsaw berbasis snowball drilling dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar matematika pada siswa sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan quasi experiment tipe two group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, sehingga jumlah keseluruhan responden mencapai 120 orang. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket kemandirian belajar matematika serta angket respon siswa terhadap kedua model pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji independent t-test dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa baik model TPS maupun Jigsaw berbasis snowball drilling memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemandirian belajar matematika, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,013 < 0,05. Meskipun hasil perhitungan N-Gain berada pada kategori rendah, jika ditinjau berdasarkan indikator, model TPS berbasis snowball drilling lebih mampu meningkatkan kemandirian belajar matematika dibandingkan model Jigsaw. Dengan demikian, keduanya terbukti efektif, tetapi model TPS memiliki keunggulan yang lebih besar dalam mendukung kemandirian belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbasis video animasi terhadap peningkatan literasi sains siswa kelas III sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian menggunakan desain pre-experimental one group pretest–posttest dengan 112 siswa SDN 1 Gempol dan SDN 1 Kempek sebagai subjek. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa 20 butir tes pilihan ganda literasi sains yang telah divalidasi untuk memastikan reliabilitas dan validitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji N-Gain untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar dan regresi linier sederhana melalui IBM SPSS Statistics 29 untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap literasi sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pretest berada pada kategori rendah dan meningkat menjadi kategori sedang–tinggi pada posttest, dengan rata-rata N-Gain literasi sains sebesar 0,47 (kategori sedang). Uji regresi linier sederhana menghasilkan signifikansi p < 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi (R²) 0,520, yang menunjukkan bahwa model Discovery Learning berbasis video animasi berpengaruh positif signifikan sebesar 52% terhadap peningkatan literasi sains siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ini efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPAS untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan proses, penerapan, dan sikap ilmiah siswa secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini relevan bagi guru, pengembang media pembelajaran, dan praktisi pendidikan dasar sebagai strategi pengajaran yang kontekstual, menarik, dan mampu memfasilitasi pembelajaran aktif. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi video animasi dalam model Discovery Learning, memberikan pendekatan inovatif yang mempermudah pemahaman materi abstrak, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan memperluas pemahaman tentang pemanfaatan media visual interaktif dalam literasi sains di tingkat sekolah dasar.
