Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the impact of independent factors like achievement-oriented leadership style and organizational climate. Affective commitment is a dependent variable, whereas job satisfaction is an intervening variable. The primary source of data for this quantitative study was an instantaneous Likert scale questionnaire delivered to each research participant. Employees of PT. X Jakarta and Medan make up the research population. A sample of 136 participants was selected using non-probability sampling techniques in conjunction with the purposive sampling approach. This study makes use of multivariate data analysis methods with the statistical model SEM-PLS. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and significant effect of achievement-oriented leadership style on job satisfaction, affective commitment and affective commitment through job satisfaction. There is also a positive and significant effect of organizational climate on job satisfaction, affective commitment and affective commitment through job satisfaction. And there is a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on affective commitment. These results provide managerial implications regarding how to increase employee affective commitment by paying attention to the achievement-oriented leadership style of the leaders and the organizational climate formed and increasing employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study discusses the Influence of Ease, Trust, Comfort and Interface Design. The purpose of this study is to determine how much interest customers have in using the BluBCA application. This study was conducted at PT BCA Tbk Dewi Sartika Branch Office, East Jakarta 13630. This study uses a descriptive research design through a quantitative approach with data collection using a purposive sampling technique with Krejcie table guidelines. The population taken in this study were BCA priority customers of KCP Dewi Sartika who had not used Blu BCA. The number of BCA Priority Dewi Sartika customers is 192 customers, 139 of whom have not used the BluBCA application (source: BCA internal data), the sample used was 103 customers with Krejcie table guidelines and the data processing technique uses the JASP application, an abbreviation of Jeffreys's Amazing Statistics Program, a statistical analysis software by the Department of Psychological Methods, University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. This open-source and multi-platform program is the choice for students and researchers. JASP is an easy-to-use software option with complete features. From the results of the research of multiple linear regression equations as follows, Y = 1.793 + 0.186 X1 + 0.289 X2 - 0.047 X3 +0.343 X4+e from the calculation, it can be seen that, the variables of Ease, Trust, Comfort and Interface design have an effect on customer interest in using the BluBCA application, but there is a difference in this study where the effect of comfort on the interest produced in this study is not significant.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Work Motivation, Compensation, and Work Involvement on Performance, mediated by Job Satisfaction, among employees of the Central Statistics Agency of Central Kalimantan Province. Employing a quantitative, correlational approach, the research involved 380 employees, with 170 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were gathered through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via AMOS, supported by descriptive analysis with Microsoft Excel and SPSS. Descriptive results indicate that the average responses for Performance, Job Satisfaction, Work Motivation, and Compensation were categorized as “agree,” while Work Involvement was rated “strongly agree.” The modified AMOS model produced the following structural equations: Job Satisfaction (KEP) = -0.002?Work Motivation (MK) - 0.025?Compensation (KOM) + 0.918?Work Involvement (KK), R²?=?0.802; Performance (KIN) = 0.776?Job Satisfaction (KEP) + 0.095?Work Motivation (MK) + 0.180?Compensation (KOM) - 0.017?Work Involvement (KK), R²?=?0.901. The findings reveal that Work Motivation does not significantly influence Job Satisfaction and does not directly affect Performance, though it has an indirect impact through Job Satisfaction. Job Satisfaction significantly affects Performance, while Compensation shows no significant relationship with either variable. Work Engagement strongly affects Job Satisfaction but not Performance. Collectively, Work Motivation, Compensation, and Work Involvement explain 80.2% of Job Satisfaction variance and 90.1% of Performance variance.

Abstract

The Influence of Work Motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on the Performance of the West Java PDGI Management Board with Job Satisfaction as a Mediating Variable. This study investigates how work motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) affect the performance of PDGI West Java board members, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected from 186 board members across 23 branches through simple random sampling. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was analyzed using SEM-PLS via SmartPLS. Findings show that work motivation (β = 0.573; t = 6.412; p < 0.001) and OCB (β = 0.315; t = 3.391; p = 0.001) significantly influence job satisfaction. However, job satisfaction does not significantly impact performance (β = 0.138; t = 1.594; p = 0.111) and fails to mediate the effect of motivation or OCB on performance. This implies that in a nonprofit professional setting like PDGI, performance is more directly shaped by intrinsic motivation and voluntary behavior than by job satisfaction. Strengthening intrinsic motivators, emphasizing non-material appreciation, and cultivating a culture of volunteerism are recommended to improve board performance
