Abstract

This study aims to formulate appropriate strategies to improve marketing performance at UD.Risna Meubel MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic using SWOT analysis. This study used descriptive methods to provide a systematic description of marketing strategies at UD. Risna Meubel MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic used SWOT analysis. The data used in this study was qualitative data in the form of information related to internal and external conditions at UD. Risna Meubel MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researchers obtained this data directly from several informants who served as sources. The data used in this study was collected using structured interview techniques. The data that has been collected will be analyzed using SWOT analysis techniques to determine the most appropriate strategy for improving marketing performance at UD.Risna Meubel MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study showed that the position of UD. Risna Meubel MSMEs was in quadrant I. The strategy that can be implemented in this condition is to support aggressive policies (growth oriented strategy). This can be done by taking advantage of the strengths and opportunities they have to overcome the weaknesses and threats they face so that they can improve marketing at UD. Risna Meubel MSMEs. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, four strategies can be formulated to improve marketing performance at UD. Risna Meubel MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely SO strategy (strengths-opportunities), WO strategy (weaknesses-opportunities), ST strategy (strengths-threats) and WT strategy (weaknesses-threats).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affecting on visitors' willingness to pay at the Teba Panotang tourist object, Sumbawa District. These factors are education (X1), income (X2), frequency of visits (X3), duration of visits (X4), and cost of visits (X5). The type of this study was assosiative study. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data obtained directly from respondents using a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were visitors to the Teba Panotang tourist object, totaling 30 people who were determined using non-probability sampling techniques using the accidental sampling (convenience sampling) method. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this study showed that partially education had not effect on visitors' willingness to pay, while income, frequency of visits, and duration of visits had a positive and significant effect on visitors' willingness to pay, and visit costs had a negative and significant effect on visitors' willingness to pay. Simultaneous test results showed that education, income, frequency of visits, duration of visits, and cost of visits had a significant effect on visitors' willingness to pay at the Teba Panotang tourist object, Sumbawa District. The ability of the independent variables contained in this study model to explain the visitors' willingness to pay at the Teba Panotang tourist object was 73.1%, while the remaining of 26.9% was effected by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

Ramadhan merupakan bulan yang penuh dengan rahmat dan keberkahan. Di bulan ini, umat Islam dianjurkan untuk meningkatkan amalan ibadah dan perbuatan baik. Salah satu amalan yang mulia adalah berbagi kepada sesama yang membutuhkan. Gerakan Berbagi Berkah Ramadhan dan Silaturahmi merupakan salah satu cara untuk mewujudkan kepedulian terhadap sesama. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat yang kurang mampu, sekaligus mempererat tali silaturahmi antar sesama. Metode Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan social yang dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2024 dimulai sejak pukul 16.00 - 17.30. yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat pada umumnya serta terhadap para pengguna jalan khususnya menjelang berbuka puasa di Kecamatan Sumbawa di lokasi pada Taman Mangga Sumbawa Besar Sumbawa dengan tahapan kegiatan : a. Persiapan b. Pelaksanaan c. Penutup. Kegiatan berhasil dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

Fokus pengabdian ini adalah pemberdayaan perempuan dalam praktik pengolahan panganan tradisional khas Sumbawa di Desa Tatebal. Salah satu potensi ekonomi lokal yang menjadi perhatian adalah kuliner tradisional khas Sumbawa, yang kini mulai terasing di tengah maraknya ragam kuliner modern. Kuliner tradisional ini perlu dikembangkan, dikelola, diproduksi, sekaligus dilestarikan, karena selain memiliki rasa yang enak, juga tahan lama serta mampu bersaing dengan jajanan modern. Berikut beberapa contoh jajanan tradisional khas Sumbawa yang menjadi fokus pemberdayaan: Kue "Golo Ganti" oleh Ibu Nursuat, pemilik UMKM Sinar Pagi. Kue "Batar" oleh Ibu Maya Sari dan Adun, pemilik UMKM Maris Gama. Kue "Wajik Gulik" oleh Anti, pemilik UMKM Kharima. Kue "Cetak Minyak" oleh Maswin, pemilik UMKM Telu Taruna. Kue "Kuda Lumping" oleh Ibu Nazila Rohmi, pemilik UMKM Cahaya Terang. Kue "Tar Kelapa" oleh Eny, pemilik UMKM Kemang Menir. Program ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan kemandirian dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan mengoptimalkan peran perempuan melalui pemberdayaan dalam praktik pengolahan panganan tradisional khas Sumbawa. Dengan adanya pemberdayaan ini, diharapkan para perempuan mampu menjadi individu yang mandiri sekaligus turut berkontribusi dalam membangun kemandirian ekonomi bangsa.

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the consumption patterns of Indonesian Migrant Worker (TKI) families in Sepayung Village, Plampang Sub-district, Sumbawa District. The type of this study was descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The type of data used was qualitative data obtained directly from research informants. The informants who were the sources in this study were the families of Indonesian Migrant Workers (TKI) in Sepayung Village, Plampang Sub-district, Sumbawa District, totaling 27 people. The primary data to be studied in this study was collected using interview techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses a qualitative data analysis model proposed by Miles and Huberman which consists of three stages carried out continuously, namely the data reduction stage, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study that there were consumptions changed of Indonesian workers families in Sepayung Village after becoming Indonesian migrants Workers. It can be seen from several changes as follows: families’ needs can be fulfilled and they can renovate their houses even they could built their houses, they could bough vehicles, they could sent their children to school and they had savings for the future. The factors that affected the consumption changed of Indonesian migrant workers families were are caused by income factors and the number of families members.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of human resource management in improving employees performance at Public Health Centre in Lopok Sub-District. The type of this study was associative study. The type of data used was quantitative data obtained directly from primary sources using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The sample that will be used as respondents in this study was 55 employee at Public Health Centre in Lopok Sub-District who were determined using non-probability sampling techniques with the simple random sampling method. Data analysis tools were performed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R2) test. The results of this study showed that human resource management consisting of performance assessment, career development and compensation had a positive and significant effect on the employees performance at Public Health Centre in Lopok Sub-District, both partially and simultaneously. The variation of changes in the value of the employee performance at Public Health Centre in Lopok Sub-District can be explained by the performance assessment, career development and compensation variables, which was 67.6%, while the remaining of 32.4% was explained by other variables that are not included in this study, such as work motivation, work enthusiasm and welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of employer branding and career development on the interest of job applicants in startup companies. The background of this research is based on the increasing competition for startup companies in recruiting the best talent amidst limited resources and an unestablished company image. The research method used is associative quantitative with a survey approach. Data was obtained from 120 respondents who were job seekers aged 20–35 years who were interested in working in startup companies. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The research results show that employer branding has a positive and significant effect on the interest of job applicants. Likewise, career development also has a positive and significant effect on the interest of job applicants. Simultaneously, these two variables have a significant effect on job applicant interest, with a coefficient of determination value of 48.6%. These findings indicate that startup companies need to develop a strong branding strategy and a structured career development system to increase their attractiveness in the eyes of potential applicants.

Abstract

The importance of learning and understanding design thinking capabilities and innovation capabilities is the key to developing MSME businesses. The application of strategic concepts through design thinking and innovation capabilities is able to have entrepreneurial skills to predict better business profits in the future. The ability to think creatively and innovatively through the Bale Berdaya Sumbawa program can create collaboration for MSMEs and strengthen the local economy and improve the quality of life of the people of Sumbawa Regency. The purpose of this activity is to encourage MSME actors to develop knowledge and business success so as to create new economic opportunities. therefore, through the sharing method, discussion or question and answer online or offline which has been followed by all participants from the MSME Bale Berdaya Program, MSMEs from Car Free Day Activities and students. The benefits of this activity provide convenience and in-depth understanding to participants to always be creative, innovative, resilient and strong in facing challenges and changes in the business economy in a better future. In conclusion, this activity went smoothly and orderly and all participants were committed to advancing their products so as to produce economic welfare for their families. Therefore, in the future it is important to continue and improve it into a national seminar attended by all MSME actors along with all MSME assistants and other stakeholders on Sumbawa Island and facilitated with awards in the form of certificates for all parties involved in this program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of talent management strategy on product innovation and company marketing performance. Talent management strategy is seen as a strategic approach in human resource management that is oriented towards creating competitive advantage through the development, placement, and retention of talented individuals. Product innovation acts as a mediator that bridges the contribution of talent management to achieving optimal marketing performance. The research method used is quantitative with an explanatory approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents consisting of HR, innovation, and marketing managers in medium and large manufacturing companies. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that talent management strategy has a positive and significant effect on product innovation and marketing performance. In addition, product innovation also has a significant effect on marketing performance and partially mediates the relationship between talent management strategy and marketing performance. This finding confirms that the effectiveness of talent management strategy has strategic implications for the company's ability to create innovative products and increase competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of business work practices and self-efficacy on students' work readiness. The type this study was associative study with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study was quantitative obtained directly from primary sources using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 61 active students at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Samawa University. The selection of respondents was determined using probability sampling techniques with a simple random sampling method. The data analysis tool used was multiple linear regression, partial hypothesis test (t test), simultaneous hypothesis test (F test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this study showed that business work practices and self-efficacy had positive and significant effect on the work readiness of students at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Samawa University, either partially or simultaneously. The effect of business work practices and self-efficacy on the work readiness of students at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Samawa University was 74.3%, while the remaining of 25.7% was effected by other variables not examined in this study, such as career planning, adversity quotient, psychological capital, soft skills, motivation to enter the world of work, managerial skills, and social support.
