Abstract

The research aims to analyze the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) aspects of the LAZNAS (National Amil Zakat Institution) AL IRSYAD website, specifically when accessed via mobile devices. Employing a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, the study places users at the core of the design process to identify their needs and the primary issues they encounter. The evaluation was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to measure usability and user satisfaction. The findings revealed several shortcomings in the website's initial design, such as non-functional menu buttons, inconsistent icons, and poorly structured page layouts. The initial SUS score was 73.49, categorized as "good," but interviews revealed that several usability issues remained unresolved. Following the analysis, a redesign was conducted based on the findings, resulting in a new prototype created using Figma with a screen size 360x800. The prototype was re-evaluated, yielding an improved SUS score of 83.62, categorized as "excellent." This study is expected to provide design recommendations that address technical issues and enhance the overall user experience. Furthermore, the findings can serve as a reference for LAZNAS AL IRSYAD to optimize their website services.

Abstract

Development transformation in the digital age provides some changes, one of which is in security aspects. One of the methods that can enhance security is applying the two-factor authentication (2FA) method through a one-time password (OTP) code as an extra level of credibility. The use of WhatsApp API through a third-party API provider named Fonnte was applied to the college information system of Purwokerto Senior High School. With its integration of Fonnte API, it can deliver OTP codes in real-time within an average time delay of 1.2 seconds, which is sent through WhatsApp, a favorite instant app that is easily accessed through social groups. The implementation in question is made in order to enhance user data security and avoid unauthorized access. The result of the experiment reveals that two-factor authentication use through OTP is successful in sending OTP within a short response time and achieving results through administering a questionnaire for 10 respondents, which acquired 82.6 results in the category of Strongly Agree.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembentukan merek produk (Branding) memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan panduan atau petunjuk mengenai bagaimana memilih nama merek suatu produk. Pelatihan ini ditujukan kepada para anggota Koperasi Petani Jaya Makmur Indonesia yang bertempat di desaKramat kecamatan Kembaran, kabupaten Banyumas. Pelatihan ini penting dilakukan karena para petani tersebut memiliki hasil pertanian yang dapat diolah menjadi berbagai produk konsumsi dan dijual dengan tanpa merek produk sehingga hanya sekedar  memberi nama atau sebutan familiar sesuai jenis makanan saja. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Minggu 27 Oktober 2024, bertempat di Gedung Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto dengan kehadiran peserta sebanyak sekitar 45 orang. Materi pelatihan berupa pengenalan teori Branding, cara memilih nama untuk merek produk dan pemberian nama/pelabelan pada produknya melalui kemasan produk. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa materi pelatihan, dokumentasi, dan kesadaran para petani untuk memberikan nama merek pada produknya.

Abstract

The working hours of bus drivers are regulated by applicable laws and regulations as well as the collective labor agreement (PKB) of PT. X. However, in practice, discrepancies are often found, such as working hours exceeding the maximum limit, lack of adequate rest time, and high operational demands. This study aims to analyze the implementation of bus drivers’ working hours at PT. X and examine its compliance with the requirements stipulated in Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews, field observations, and documentation studies of the Collective Labor Agreement (PKB). The findings indicate that, normatively, PT. X has regulated drivers’ working hours in accordance with the law, namely eight working hours per day. However, field observations reveal excessive working hours experienced by bus drivers due to operational conditions such as traffic congestion and tight operational schedules. Additionally, the mandatory one-hour rest period is not always fully realized due to time constraints and field conditions. Although the PKB provides detailed protection of drivers’ rights, its implementation still requires close supervision to prevent violations of labor rights. This study recommends a review of the scheduling system and stricter supervision of the implementation of working hours and rest periods for bus drivers.

Abstract

Dairy productivity studies often involve hierarchical and longitudinal data structures that violate the assumptions of linear regression. This study compares two modeling approaches, Linear Mixed Model (LMM) and Mixed Effects Regression Tree (MERT), in predicting dairy productivity based on the 2024 National Dairy Productivity Survey data. Predictive performance was evaluated using MSEP, RMSEP, MAD, and MAPE, with MERT consistently outperforming LMM in accuracy and robustness. Permutational Multivariate Analysis of Variance (PERMANOVA) test results reinforced this finding, yielding a pseudo-F value of 224.7 and a p-value of 0.001, indicating statistically significant differences in model performance. Key predictors of MERT model included farm altitude, the previous week’s milk production, and the amounts of concentrate feed given, which are part of significant predictor variables in LMM. This finding underscores MERT’s superiority in modeling complex agricultural datasets while providing interpretable insights through data-driven segmentation. The study advocates policy focus in sustainable milk production as well as the availability of high quality of feed and altitude-based dairy farms location to improve milk productivity. Should these focuses implemented by the industry, combined with the MBG Program, Indonesia would be progressing better towards achievement of SDGs Goal 2 and 3.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of multicollinearity on ordinal regression through a two-stage Monte Carlo simulation. A synthetic population of 2,000,000 observations was generated with predictors drawn from a normal distribution, and responses simulated using an ordinal probit model. A Monte Carlo procedure was employed with 10 repetitions, each consisting of 100 random samples of 1,000 observations. Parameter estimation employed Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) for univariate models and Pairwise Likelihood (PL) for multivariate models, with performance assessed using mean squared error (MSE), bias, and computation time. Results show that multicollinearity had negligible impact on estimator bias and MSE, confirming the robustness of both MLE and PL to correlated predictors. However, severe multicollinearity substantially increased computation time, indicating a trade-off between estimator stability and efficiency. These findings highlight PL as a viable approach for analyzing complex ordinal data, particularly in applications such as socio-economic surveys and health metrics where predictor correlation is unavoidable.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto ini bermitra dengan  Koperasi Petani Jaya Makmur Indonesia. Permasalahan di koperasi antara lain adalah lesunya minat untuk memanfaatkan hasil tani sehingga membutuhkan motivasi dan dukungan untuk memasarkan produk. Oleh karena itu kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani melalui pelatihan motivasi bisnis dan pemasaran digital. Pelatihan motivasi bisnis pada anggota koperasi penting dilakukan yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan visi dan misi bisnis yang dimiliki. Selain itu pemasaran online pada jaman sekarang sangat dibutuhkan. Pemasaran online dengan digital antara lain melalui pembuatan website. Website sebagai salah satu cara memasarkan berbagai produk dari anggota koperasi, serta mengurangi ketergantungan pada harga pasar. Adanya Website juga sebagai upaya memperluas jangkauan pasar koperasi.

Abstract

Kayu Agung District in Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency, South Sumatra, has undergone rapid population growth, resulting in notable land-use transformations. This study examines land-use change dynamics from 2019 to 2023 and identifies their spatial distribution using satellite imagery. Satellite imagery classification was performed using three machine learning algorithms—K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Naïve Bayes, and Logistic Regression—with KNN achieving the highest accuracy. Spatial analysis employing the Variance-to-Mean Ratio (VMR) revealed that land-use changes are spatially clustered, indicating concentrated land conversion in specific areas. These findings emphasize potential environmental risks, including declining green open spaces and increasing urban pressure. The study contributes by integrating machine learning and spatial statistical analysis (VMR) as a comprehensive framework for understanding land-use conversion, providing scientific insights to support adaptive spatial planning and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Abstract

Fenomena Over-tourism di Bali telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap lingkungan dan meningkatkan risiko bencana, khususnya banjir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak hukum dari Over-tourism terhadap penurunan kualitas lingkungan, dengan fokus pada konversi lahan pertanian dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan normatif dengan menganalisis regulasi terkait, termasuk Peraturan Gubernur Bali No. 45 Tahun 2019 dan Undang-Undang No. 32 Tahun 2009 tentang Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup. Pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan kasus digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kebijakan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah Bali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pariwisata berkelanjutan yang ada belum sepenuhnya efektif dalam mengurangi dampak negatif Over-tourism, terutama dalam hal konversi lahan dan kerusakan drainase yang memperburuk risiko banjir. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan kebijakan zonasi yang lebih ketat, prinsip carrying capacity, serta penguatan pengawasan pelaksanaan regulasi lingkungan. Selain itu, integrasi nilai Tri Hita Karana dalam kebijakan pariwisata dapat menjaga keseimbangan antara ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan Bali.
