Abstract

This research aims to find out how employee motivation at PT. Riau Karsa Pelita and to find out what factors that affect employee motivation at PT. Riau Karsa Pelita.This research uses descriptive quantitative methods to find out how employee motivation at PT. Pelita Pekanbaru Riau Karsa. As for the respondents in use are all employees of PT Riau Karsa Pelita is drawn using census methods. While the data collection technique in this study using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. By using a Likert scale as a gauge to determine the length of the short interval that can be used to generate quantitative data.Based on the research results, PT Riau Karsa Pelita have noticed employee motivation viewed by using the theory of Maslow's hierarchy of needs are: Physiological Needs, Safety Needs, socializing needs, esteem needs and self-actualization needs. According to respondents, the motivation of the employees working at PT Riau Karsa Pelita included in the high category.Keywords : motivation, human and needs

Abstract

The phenomenon of adventure in nature forest and open nature gives the feel of different tours. A natural adventure may be hard to find right now. The natural area of river, lake, swamp, peat ecosystem, upstream or river eatuary can also be used ecotourism. Siak sri Indrapura is known for the historical tourism in fact keeps the natural beauty of interest to visit and has been known to to have natural wealth. On of them is lake naga sakti ecotourism that was developed into a tourist attraction in Siak. The availability of facilities in area of tourism is a readiness of a menas to be operated and can provide comfort to tourists.This study aims to determine: (1) To know the facilities in the lake Naga Sakti ecotourism. (2) Factors that affect the provision of facilities in the lake Naga Sakti ecotourism. In this study the research method that I use is a qualitative method with descriptive approach. Technique of collecting data in this research use observation, interview and documentation.Based on research that has been done, the existing facilities in the ecotourism of the lake Naga sakti is not adequate. Abstract

This study aims to determine the ideal number of employees of Guest Service Agent and Belldriver based on workload borne by employees at Tjokro Pekanbaru Hotel.Research conducted by descriptive quantitative method to discuss the issues raised. In this research sample there are only 6 people using census method, with the use of data collection techniques research the way of observation, interview, and documentation. By using exponential smoothing technique, the discussion is about 2 exponents in human resource plan which consists of exponent workload in producing a product, as work load analysis and cycle time to finish a product and to find the right number of employees.In the results of the research that has been done, for the whole of the calculation of the ideal working time for Guest Service Agent requires the addition of 2 people, and the results of the calculation of the ideal work time Belldriver requires 2 people. Abstract

This research is to know about the quality of service guides in Istano Basa Pagaruyung Tanah Datar regency of West Sumatra Province. The study aims to know how the quality of service guides in Istano Basa Pagaruyung District Tanah Datar West Sumatra Province. This research uses a descriptive method quantitative to examine the issues raised. The sample used in this research is 100 respondents taken by accidental sampling. While data collection techniques in this study using observation, questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of research that has been done, that the quality of service guides in Istano Basa Pagaruyung Tanah Datar regency of West Sumatra Province still low and needs to be improved again. Viewed by five dimensions, namely dimensions tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how the factors that influence performance of Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru employees and what is the most dominant factor that influence performance of Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru employees.This research used descriptive qualitative method to analyze the problem. The sample of this research are consist of 40 respondents. Then, the data collected by observation, interview and questionnaire. By using likert scale as the counting appliance to decided the length of intervals.Based on the result of the research, there are three factors that influence performance of Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru employees, they are internal factor employee, a factor internal organization and external factors organization. Factor that most dominant was internal factors organization from the indicator working climate, and internal factor employee from the indicator competences and external factors organization with indicators culture and religion. According to the response respondents indicators knowledge (education), political life, and social life less influence their performance.Keywords : human resources, performance, factors that influence the employees performance

Abstract

This research purposed to get know the job satisfaction of housekeeping department’s employees in Pangeran Pekanbaru Hotel based on two factors theory Herzberg, they were motivator and maintenance factors.This research used quantitative descriptive method to analyze the problems. Sample of this research is all of housekeeping department’s employees amount 23 peoples decided by census sampling technique. The datas collected by using observation, interview and questionnaire and using the likert scale to get the interval’s range.According to the result of this research, job satisfaction of housekeeping department’s employees in pangeran pekanbaru hotel was in middle level. Some factors weren’t fulfilled yet. From motivator they are promotion and recognition, from maintenance factors they are co worker, quality and technical support, relations with others and psychological working condition.Key words : job satisfaction, housekeeping, pangeran pekanbaru hotel

Abstract

Is in the interval 2,8-3,6. PT. Oke Wisata Tour and Travel Tourism needs to maintain the elements that have been considered good by customers as well as the need to fix the things that are still considered less.quality of service, openness (openness), positiveness (reliability), supportiveness (responsiveness), equality (assurance), empathy (caring), this study aims to determine the dimensions or indicators of service quality, namely openness (openness) , positiveness (reliability), supportiveness (responsiveness), equality (security) and empathy (caring), PT. Oke Wisata Tour and Travel Tourism and determine the most dominant factors that affect customer satisfaction PT. Oke Wisata Tour and Travel. The population in this study is the customers who come to PT. Oke Wisata Tour and Travel. Samples were taken by 30 respondents using the technique of Non-Probability Sampling with Accidental sampling approach, which is based on accidental sampling technique, namely, who happened to meet with researchers can be sampled as it sees fit. Based on the translation of each indicator, the most dominant factor affecting the quality of service in the PT. Oke Wisata Tour and Travel is supportiveness. It can be seen from the statement of the respondents in all the indicators, and supportiveness obtain the highest average value of 3,49. Value of 3.49 is included in the Good Enough category, is seen from the overall average results of respondents' statements.Key Words: PT. Oke Wisata Tour and Travel’s ticket service quality

Abstract

Riau Province has a number of potential and tourist attraction is quite large. There are several attractions in Pekanbaru City which has the charm and attractiveness of each that can be developed to allow tourists to visit the city of Pekanbaru. Tourism attractions Khayangan Valley Sari has been expected to develop into one of the mainstay sources to increase the original revenue area Pekanbaru. Tourism Object of Bandar Khayangan Lake Sari Valley is located in Kel.Limbungan, Kec.Rumbai which is not far from the center of Pekanbaru City. The attraction of this tourist attraction is the atmosphere is very beautiful and cool. It is suitable for tourists who are already saturated with urban hustle and bustle. In the Tourism Object of Bandar Khayangan Lake Sari Valley is located in Kel.Limbungan, Kec.Rumbai this also has a calm atmosphere so it is very interesting to visit. This study aims to: (1) Know how the implementation of promotions made; (2) What constraints faced in promoting the attractions of Bandar Khayangan Lake Lembah Sari Pekanbaru City. In this research research method that I use quantitative method with descriptive approach. Technique of collecting data in this research use observation, interview, koesioner and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been done, shows that the implementation of promotions made by way of advertising, personal seling and public relations at Objects of Lake Bandar Khayangan Lembah Sari Pekanbaru still poor. Abstract

This research aims to determine the right number of employees which are Bellboy and Front Desk Agent ideal workload handled at Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay Batam.This research uses descriptive quantitative method for examining the raised issues. The sample in this research are 11 people and using census method. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. By using the exponent determinants technique (exponential smoothing), with two exponents in the human resources planning which consists of exponents workload in producing a product, as an analysis of the workload (work load analysis) and exponent of time (cycle time) to complete a product and to find the number of employees or staff that were ideal.Based on the research that has been done, for the whole of the results and from the calculation of ideal working time for the Bellboy still need 4 people, and 3 people for a Front Desk Agent, that number must be filled by Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay Batam to cover their staff workload.Keywords: Workload, Bellboy, Front Desk Agent, Number of Ideal Employees, Swiss-Belhotel Harbour Bay Batam
