Abstract

The existence of Quranic exegesis journalism is a relatively interesting phenomenon. As media content, the field of tafsir is likely to adapt to media routine practices, social systems, and social institution forces wherein the media is produced. In the period 1970-1980, Indonesia’s economic planning and political system had been deeply committed to developmentalist and modernist in orientation, and required social forces, including media and religious institutions, to promote this national goal. This study aims to explore the influence of journalistic practices in shaping the tafsir of the Quran in three magazines in Indonesia published from 1970 to 1980, namely Ashri Magazine, Panji Masyarakat, and Suara Muhammadiyah. The result of the study illustrates that the tafsir of the Quran within observed Islamic magazines adapted to the logic of journalism. Over the course of the period, Islamic magazines carried out Quranic exegesis journalism by defining issues and discourses of developmentalism and modernity as part of policy and public agendas in order to gain legitimacy from the Indonesian Muslim community. Additionally, this study argues that the journalism of tic Quranic interpretation is one of the study fields of the tafsir of the Quran in Indonesia which is relatively unexplored throughout the ages.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financing practices of Kampoeng Tahfidz Al-Kautsar Housing in Simpang Sungei Duren Village with an al-istishna contract, to determine the factors that cause cancellation of boking and cancellation of istishna' contracts in financing Housing of Kampoeng Tahfidz al-Kautsar of Simpang Sungei Duren Village, to knowing the impact of the cancellation of the istishna' contract on the financing of Kampoeng Tahfidz al-Kautsar housing, Simpang Sungei Duren Village. This study uses qualitative research methods with primary and secondary data types. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. In addition to processing the data, this research was analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing a conclusion. Based on the research results, it can be seen that housing finance in Kampoeng Tahfidz al-Kautsar does not have any criteria regarding housing buyers. But on the other hand there are some consumers who have problems in making buying and selling transactions using an istishna contract. Where out of 135 people there were 3 people who had problems financing buying and selling houses at Kampoeng Tahfidz Al-Kautsar Muaro Jambi Housing Complex. The practice of financing buyers at Kampoeng Tanfidz al-Kautsar housing is carried out in stages that have been directed by the developer to minimize the risks that will occur. These risks include credit risk, legal risk, compliance risk, strategic risk and operational risk. The cancellation of the contract also has a negative impact on consumers and sellers. Among them are the black list carried out by the Sharia Bank and Housing Kampoeng Tahfidz al-Kautsar, the loss of trust from developers or sellers to consumers who commit defaults, to losses suffered by sellers.

Abstract

The development of an institution cannot be separated from the role of the community it self. Apart from quality, the institution must also give priority to the community, consumert or customers to maintain the continuity of the institution or argency. The activities of Islamic banking institutions must be carried out as closely as possible in introducing the products and services offered by Islamic banking with the aim of increasing or even increasing public interest and trust. In connection with this research, this thesis aims to determine the lack of public interest in choosing Islamic banking products. This type of research is qualitaive research and the data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. This research involved 30 respondents in Mekar Sari Village, Kumpeh districh, consisting of various professions. From the results of research conducted by researchers, 8 respondents stated that they were interested in Islamic banking , but only 3 respondents had used Islamic banking services, and the remaining 14 respondents were not interested and used conventional banking services, then 8 respondents did not respond because they assumed that Islamic banking and conventional bank are the same. Based on the data analysis from this research, the public understanding of Islamic banking are internal and external factors, including personality, motivation, attitudes, beliefs lifestyle, religion, experience, family, culture, society and service. Of these factors, the most dominant main factors are attitude and belief factors, personality factors and community factors themselves.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to examine three issues, namely: (1) Business development strategy for Purnama Raya H. Salsabila Restaurant Lebak Bandung Jelutung,(2) Obstacles faced by Purnama Raya H. Salsabila Lebak Restaurant Bandung Jelutung, (3) Islamic economic view towards the business development strategy of Purnama Raya H. Salsabila Restaurant, Lebak Bandung Jelutung. To reveal these three issues in depth and comprehensively, the authors used a field research method with a qualitative approach with primary and secondary data sources by interviewing 10 people, namely the restaurant and consumers. From the results of this study it can be concluded that: Padang Surya Restaurant in the city of Mukomuko has implemented a business development strategy, namely the strategy includes: product strategy, price strategy and sales strategy. Islamic Economic Review of the business of Purnama Raya H. Salsabila Restaurant, Lebak Bandung Jelutung, is appropriate with Islamic principles.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of non-Muslim students towards Indonesian Sharia Banks. To answer this problem, this research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research with data sources from UNJA students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that students' perceptions of sharia banks are still lacking because they do not understand sharia banking, they are not sure what sharia banks are, but they have heard about sharia banks from their neighbors. They stated that Islamic banks are the same as regular banks, only that they are designed specifically for Muslims and their operational procedures are the same. Therefore, Islamic banks cannot be accessed by non-Muslim students. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that in UNJA non-Muslim students' perception of sharia banking is a process of integrating, regarding and interpreting information received by the sensory system. Non-Muslim students at UNJA only know about sharia banks, some also know about them from social media, and their response to sharia banks is only ordinary banks and there are also those who say sharia banks are good banks

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a company's commitment to contribute to sustainable economic development, by paying attention to corporate social responsibility and emphasizing a balance between attention to economic, social and environmental aspects. This research uses qualitative methods. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data were obtained by observation, interview and documentation methods. The object of this research is the community of Purwodadi Village, Tebing Tinggi District, West Tanjung Jabung District. Based on the results of the study shows that, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT. Trimitra Lestari has been running quite well and providing benefits to the community around the company. In the review of Islamic business ethics, the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT. Trimitra Lestari is in accordance with the principles of Islamic business ethics. However, there are still several programs that need to be improved as explained by the community, where the community expects a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that can empower and prosper the community.

Abstract

This study aims determine the effect of Islamic corporate governnace and internlal control on fraud in Islamic comercial banks in Indonesia for the 2016-2020 period. This study uses the independent variable Islamic Corporate Governance by using two indicators, namely the Sharia Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors and Internal Control. While the dependent variable is Fraud. Secondary data is used in this study. This study uses a quantitative approach and uses Panel Data Regression Analysis, Model Testing, Classical Assumption Test, Hypothesis Testing and using the Eviews 8 application. The results of this study show that the Sharia Supervisory Board, Board of Directors and Internal Control have an effect on Fraud . Then the results of the Coefficient of Determination test show that the Adjusted R-square value is 51%, meaning that fraud can be explained by the sharia supervisory board, the board of directors and internal control by 51% and the remaining 40% is explained by other variables. Abstract

This research aims to describe the impact of changing CV Tulimario on the halal label of their products in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muara Jambi Regency. Descriptive qualitative methods are used to analyze natural conditions and events in the field. Tangkit Baru Village has an area of ​​18,122 km² with a population of 2,974 people. CV Tulimario, founded by Mr H. Baso Intang in 1981, operates in the pineapple processing agro-industry sector, with main products such as pineapple dodol, pineapple chips and Nasgar drinks. This research found that CV Tulimario's sales strategy relies heavily on halal certification to increase competitiveness and consumer trust. Halal certification is considered important for market access in supermarkets and large stores, as well as improving consumer image and trust. However, the process of obtaining halal certification presents its own challenges, especially in meeting the requirements for suitability and cleanliness. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding market requirements and consumer needs, as well as commitment to hygiene and quality standards in production to support sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan sejarah sosial perkembangan hukum gadai dan gadai syariah di Indonesia. Gadai merupakan bagian dari aktifitas ekonomi yang telah berlangsung lama. Terdapat tiga corak hukum yang mengatur praktik gadai, yaitu: hukum positif, hukum adat dan hukum Islam. Ketiga jenis hukum tersebut terus berkembang mengikuti dinamika sosial masyarakat, sehingga ikut mempengaruhi perkembangan praktik gadai sebagai instrument keuangan alternatif yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of halal certification and price on customer satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach to collect data using primary data and questionnaires. Tungkal Seafood restaurant consumers are the subjects of this research. Purposive sampling technique, which was used to achieve the research objectives, collected 100 respondents. Normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests are the multiple linear regression analysis tools used. The F test and T test are used to test the hypothesis. Results obtained from the regression equation: Y = 0.959+ 0.384(X1) + 0.395(X2) + e. The results of data analysis show that the independent variable halal certification (X1) does not partially influence customer satisfaction (Y) (T test), and the price variable (X2) influences customer satisfaction significantly. Simultaneously, the F test shows that the independent variables halal certification (X1) and price (X2) influence purchasing decisions (Y) positively and significantly. The influence of the Coefficient of Determination variable is 48.4%, the influence of Halal Certification and Price on Customer Satisfaction at Tungkal Seafood Resto, while 51.6% is determined by other variables outside the research.
