Abstract

A prediction system for determining the number of student visits is one way to determine the priorities and the number of students interested in literacy culture each year. Creating a prediction system requires a robust calculation method, which is why a prediction system is needed. This prediction system uses the Least Squares method. Based on the research conducted, the system can implement the Least Squares method to predict students studying and using library facilities. This helps library administrators prepare the necessary needs for students who wish to study in the library.

Abstract

Abstract

Aktifitas utama PT XYZ adalah mengelola minyak mentah menjadi produk siap dipasarkan. PT XYZ juga mengolah air di bagian Utilities tepatnya di demineralization plant. PT XYZ menggunakan air yang diolah untuk menunjang keberlangsungan proses produksi di kilang yang memerlukan air sebagai pendingin mesin, penggerak pembangkit listrik (Power Generation), dan akan didistribusikan ke perkantoran, perumahan juga tempat sosial. Dalam hasil observasi langsung peneliti menemukan bahwa sering terjadinya cacat produk air yang menyebabkan penurunan hasil produksi air tepatnya pada vessel polisher exchange no.3 sistem air umpan boiler harus memenuhi spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan agar tidak membentuk endapan kerak (scaling) yang dapat menimbulkan masalah pada pengoperasian boiler, sehingga dapat menyebabkan turunnya efisiensi boiler. Untuk menjaga agar hasil produksi tidak mengalami penurunan diperlukan pencegahan agar dapat meminimalisir hal tersebut peneliti mengambil langkah dengan memberikan usulan pengendalian proses produksi polisher exchange no.3 dengan metode statistical process control. Berdasarkan hasil akhir diketahui faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan hasil proses produksi air pada mesin polisher exchange no.3 adalah faktor material (pH out) dengan frekuensi tertinggi yaitu 50%. Dikarenakan kondisi resin pecah terhadap feed water yang terlalu panas, dengan nilai individual pH out tercatat sebanyak 13 kali tidak mendekati garis pusat atau center line dari 30 hari. Untuk menjaga kinerja boiler, pH Out harus sesuai standar 5,5-7 ph. Usulan pengendalian dari penurunan hasil produksi air polisher exchange 3 material yaitu operator diharapkan melakukan pemantauan terhadap kualitas resin yang akan dipakai dan melakukan pengecekan secara berkala terhadap feed water khususnya suhu air. Manusia yaitu memastikan operator memahami SOP yang telah ditetapkan, serta memberikan pelatihan rutin kepada operator mengenai prosedur yang benar dalam regenerasi resin.

Abstract

Motor Gasoline (MOGAS) that serves as modifiers thermal energy into mechanical energy with a Research Octane Number (RON) of 91 was produced by mixing (blending) of two components. RON are high is one of MOGAS specifications needed for good engine performance. To obtain a MOGAS with high RON usually needs additional materials, chemical components. In this work we don’t need any additional materials to increasing the RON. In the field of oil and gas blending method is a method that is widely used to acquire new products that are superior and achieve quality standards. The components used in blending these are products with a value of RON 88 and 92. Examination of specific gravity (ASTMD-1298) was conducted to obtain specific gravity (SG) and temperature observations (T), while the ASTMD-86 distillation examination was conducted to determine the components in materials. The results showed that the product specifications in accordance with the existing products on the market. The acquisition of distillate reached 95% with losses of about 3.9%, and the residue of 1.1%.
