Abstract

Pengolahan Filter 5 Micron marupakan salah satu material yang digunakan diindustri migas karena pemakaian filter 5 Micron setiap bulannya tidak menentu sehingga membutuhkan peramalan. Peramalan adalah suatu cara untuk memperkirakan keadaan dimasa yang akan datang melalui pengujian keadaan dimasa lalu dengan menggunakan metode Moving Average dan Exponential Smoothing. Peramalam pemakaian filter 5 Micron dengan membandingkan metode Moving average dan Exponential Smoothing untuk bulan Januari, Februari dan Maret tahun 2024. Exponential Smoothing dengan ? = 0,04 mendapatkan nilai MAD = 82,88061, MSE = 19.786,8 dan MAPE = 62%.

Abstract

Peramalan adalah suatu cara untuk memperkirakan keadaan dimasa yang akan datang melalui pengujian keadaan dimasa lalu dengan menggunakan metode Moving Average dan Exponential Smoothing. Peramalam pemakaian filter 5 Micron dengan membandingkan metode Moving average dan Exponential Smoothing untuk bulan Januari, Februari dan Maret tahun 2024. Exponential Smoothing dengan ? = 0,04 mendapatkan nilai MAD = 82,88061, MSE = 19.786,8 dan MAPE = 62%.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is one of the companies that has a machine shop department which is an environment where machinery and a form of subtractive manufacturing are carried out. Machine operator workers do their work for 8 hours per day with 2 breaks and less muscle stretching during their work activities. These activities cause operators to experience complaints of fatigue, discomfort, aches and pains in several parts of the body which can cause the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Based on these problems, an analysis of work posture was carried out using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method because it can assess the risk to all parts of the body. This study was conducted on the activities of grinding and inspection operators. Based on the results of the study with the calculation of the REBA score, it is known that the activities of the grinding operator got a score of 10, and the inspection operator got a score of 9, each of which has a high risk level and requires improvement. Proposals for improving the work posture of operators with recommendations for chair and table aids.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that supplies lubricants and fuel for both the automotive and mining industries. This research examines oil inventory control in the warehouse. PT. XYZ using the ABC Analysis method. Previously PT. XYZ does not yet use the ABC Analysis method in inventory control. The aim of this research is to find out how to control oil supplies at PT. XYZ and to find out oil inventory control at PT. XYZ using the ABC Analysis method. Then the results of this research have found three groups which fall into categories A, B, and C. The type of oil that falls into category A has a total rupiah value absorption of Rp. 4,878,859,430 or equal to 70.28% of the total rupiah value, which consists of 6 types of oil or equal to 13.23% of the total of all types of oil. Then the type of oil that falls into category B has a total rupiah value absorption of Rp. 1,351,126,100 or the same as 19.46% of the total rupiah value, which consists of 6 types of oil or the same as 22.44% of the total of all types of oil. And the type of oil that falls into category C has a total rupiah value absorption of R. 712,058,180 or the same as 10.26% of the total rupiah value, which consists of 15 types of oil or the same as 64.33% of the total of all types of oil.

Abstract

XYZ is a company operating in the downstream Oil and Gas (MIGAS) sector. Its business activities include marketing and distribution of energy products, one of which is the fuel distribution process. This research analyzes the potential dangers in fuel distribution activities at PT XYZ. The aim of this research is to find out the potential dangers that can occur in the process of fuel distribution activities, to find out the level of risk of danger that can occur in the process of fuel distribution activities, to find out how to control risks in the process of fuel distribution activities. Then the results of this research are that there are 19 potential dangers from 10 activities in the distribution process at PT XYZ. The level of risk of work accidents in fuel distribution activities has risk levels ranging from the Medium category to the High Risk category in each activity, can be categorized into seven (7) categories (Medium) and Twelve (12) categories (High Risk) as well as risk control that has been carried out to reduce the level of risk by using a control hierarchy, namely Engineering control with 11 controls, administration with 25 controls, and Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with 17 controls.

Abstract

PT. Pertamina is a company engaged in the Oil and Gas (MIGAS) industry engaged in drilling. This study analyzes how the existing conditions of B3 waste management resulting from drilling activities are carried out. The research uses the Guttman Scale Scoring method. The results of the study using the guttman scale scoring method show that the existing condition of B3 waste management at PT. Pertamina received a total percentage recapitulation of 45% in the "Adequate" category. The recommendation for improving B3 waste reduction activities is to process B3 waste such as used lubricants (used oil) into diesel as fuel through the B3 waste recycling process.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang cukup menyita perhatian di Indonesia. Penanganan dan pengelolaan sampah semakin kompleks dan rumit seiring dengan semakin kompleksnya volume, jenis, dan komposisinya. Sampah yang terus menerus di tumpuk menyebabkan banyak masalah, oleh karena itu perlu pengelolaan sampah berbasis 3R Reduce, Reuse, dan Recycle (3R). Perilaku masyarakat yang tadinya “membuang” limbah, harus diubah menjadi “mengelola” limbah. Gerakan Mahasiswa Sadar Limbah (MASALIM) yang bertujuan untuk mengedukasi, memotivasi, dan menginisiasi masyarakat dalam melaksanakan 3R. Gerakan ini akan diawali dengan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada mahasiswa STT Migas Balikpapan untuk menjadi kader MASALIM yang nantinya akan di implementasikan di masyarakat. Gerakan MASALIM dilanjutkan dengan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada masyarakat dan pembersihan limbah di area pantai Dusit Balikpapan. Dari hasil pembersihan sampah, jenis sampah yang berhasil dikumpulkan di dominasi dengan plastik yaitu sebanyak 129,7 Kg dan jenis limbah lain yang terkumpulkan yaitu kayu, ranting dan daun, pakaian bekas dan pampers, kaca (botol dan serpihan), kaleng dan metal, dan Styrofoam. Gerakan pembersihan dan Pengelolaan limbah berbasis masyarakat dengan konsep 3R diharapkan untuk mengurangi limbah dari sumbernya, mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan, memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat dalam bidang kesehatan dan ekonomi, serta mengubah perilaku masyarakat terhadap limbah.

Abstract

Dalam berbagai sektor industri seperti industri minyak dan gas pengambilan sampel merupakan komponen penting dalam pengawasan kualitas produk. Pengambilan sampel yang tepat dapat membantu dalam memantau proses produksi. Pengambilan sampel manual memiliki sejumlah masalah potensial, seperti kelalaian operator, teknik pengambilan sampel, dan seringkali lebih memakan waktu. Seiring perkembangan zaman dan kemajuan teknologi di era globalisasi yang makin meningkat, salah satu teknologi yang digunakan pada industri minyak dan gas bumi dalam pengambilan sampel crude oil adalah automatic inline sampler (AIS). Tentu perubahan ini sangatlah berpengaruh dari segi meningkatnya efisiensi waktu, tenaga dan lain – lain dalam pengambilan sampel. AIS (Automatic Inline Sampler) merupakan salah satu alat yang perannya sangat vital dalam membantu atau mendukug operator dalam pengambilan sampel minyak mentah (crude oil). Karena dengan adanya AIS ini operator dapat memonitoring dari kejauhan dan pengambilannya juga dilakukan secara representatif. Dalam pengoperasian AIS ini nantinya akan dilakukan perhitungan menggunakan standar API 8.2. Pada penelitian ini, hasil perhitungan berdasarkan API 8.2 adalah pada Cargo E diperoleh batch size 14308 m3 dan volume sampling can 1,43 liter selanjutnya untuk Cargo B1 sebesar 15.898 m3 dan 1,64 liter dan B2 sebesar 14.944 m3 dan 1,55 liter. Secara keseluruhan, pengambilan sampel crude oil pada PT XYZ dengan automatic inline sampling lebih unggul dalam hal efisiensi, keamanan, akurasi, dan konsistensi data dibandingkan dengan pengambilan sampel secara manual.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the working posture of operators using chairs and computers in the demineralization unit (demin plant) at PT. XYZ by applying the Rapid Office Strain Assessment (ROSA) method. Prolonged computer use with non-ergonomic postures can cause musculoskeletal disorders. The research method used direct observation of two operators with Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaires for initial complaint identification, followed by ROSA analysis. The results show that two operators scored 8 on the ROSA scale, which falls into the very high-risk category. This score indicates that the working posture is not ergonomically appropriate and has the potential to cause musculoskeletal disorders. Contributing factors include improper sitting posture not meeting ergonomic standards, absence of adjustable armrests, monitor position too low with viewing angles of 4.38° and 9.43°, monitor viewing distance of 40-45 cm (less than the 50-70 cm standard), and work equipment that does not fully support optimal comfort. Improvement recommendations include using ergonomic chairs with adjustable features, height-adjustable monitor stands, ergonomic workstations, and providing mousepads and portable keyboards. This study contributes to the application of office ergonomics to prevent musculoskeletal disorders in oil and gas industry workers.

Abstract

The quality of a product produced is a top priority for the company. The need for the use of chemicals for product quality in the company must also be taken into account so that it can be used efficiently, therefore in planning raw material requirements, a forecasting analysis of the needs of these secondary raw materials can be carried out. Based on the planning of the need for the use of these chemicals, the author conducted a study discussing the Forecasting of Aluminum Sulfate Al2(SO4)3 Needs in the company to improve production quality using the single moving average method. The study used qualitative and quantitative research methods, the study was aimed at seeing the application of the use of forecasting methods in companies and as a reference for learning the application of these methods for students. The author uses historical data on the use of Alum or Aluminum Sulfate in 2022 to May 2023 at one of the water treatment installations as a water purifier, with a movement value of n = 5,6,7,8,9. The results of the forecasting calculation obtained the lowest error rate in MSE and MAPE, namely at movement 5.
