Abstract

This qualitative research with a descriptive approach investigates the application of the Insya' Muwajjah approach to writing learning at Mi As-Syafi’iyah Tanggul, focusing on fourth-grade students. Employing interviews, observations, and documentation, the study reveals a structured process encompassing preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study's outcomes highlight supportive factors, such as teacher facilitation and educator competence, while inhibiting factors include motivation, educational background, and vocabulary limitations. By enhancing writing skills through the Insya' Muwajjah approach, this research offers insights into optimizing Arabic language education. Highlights: Effective Pedagogical Approach: The study explores the implementation of the Insya' Muwajjah approach, shedding light on its effectiveness in enhancing Arabic writing skills among elementary school students. Abstract

This qualitative study explores the effectiveness of an interactive multimedia learning model for Arabic vocabulary acquisition. Conducted with Arabic teachers and students from a high school, the study utilized interviews, observation, and documentation for data collection. The interactive multimedia, comprising PowerPoint software and Android comic applications, was found to follow a three-stage process: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Positive factors driving multimedia adoption included existing manuals and engaging modifications of the software. Challenges included students' limited grasp of conversational Arabic and the placement of lessons. Addressing these, interactive learning media emerged as a solution to boost learning engagement. The study highlights the potential of interactive multimedia to enhance Arabic vocabulary learning, advocating for broader application in language education contexts. Abstract

This study employs the R&D-ADDIE method to develop an innovative Arabic textbook, Al-'Ashri, utilizing the Quizizz platform for Grade VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan. Addressing challenges identified by Arabic subject teachers—vocabulary retention difficulties and waning student interest—the research introduces interactive digital learning to replace conventional monotonous textbooks. Through interviews and expert validation, the study gauges enhanced engagement and improved vocabulary memorization facilitated by Quizizz. Survey responses from students highlight the platform's efficacy, shedding light on its potential to transform Arabic language education by fostering greater ease and enjoyment in the learning process. Abstract

Mufradat has an important role in communication skills. This research is motivated by the difficulties of Arabic language boarding students at the Mojokerto eLKISI Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School in applying mufradat when communicating. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of mufradat for female students in Arabic dormitories communication, to examine the difficulties of students in applying mufradat when communicating in Arabic, and alternative solutions to these problems. This type of research is a descriptive-qualitative study with research subjects being female students of the Arabic boarding school, Mudabbir, and Ismul Lughah. Research data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that some students still use Indonesian and do not apply mufradat in communication. There are two linguistic difficulties and four non-linguistic difficulties. Two linguistic difficulties are in the form of a lack of mastery of grammar and knowledge of grammar. Four non-linguistic difficulties in the form of a less supportive social environment in the dormitory, different class backgrounds, limited time for students' activities in the dormitory, and the emergence of a sense of shame and fear of being wrong. The solution to this problem is implementing a mandatory language program for all students, maximizing the role of Mudabbir as a facilitator and linguistic role model, and implementing a reward and punishment system.

Abstract

Balaghoh science is the study of the implied meaning of an Arabic expression. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were Balaghah subject teachers and 10th grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 08 Takerharjo. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of Balaghah learning, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as solutions to the implementation of Balaghah learning at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 08 Takerharjo. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the implementation of Balaghah learning is carried out by explaining the material to students and opening a question and answer session. The supporting factor for implementing the learning of Balaghah Science at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 08 Takerharjo is because Balaghah Science is related to Arabic. The inhibiting factor for the implementation of learning Balaghah is that students are less interested in learning the sciences of the sciences. From the presence of inhibiting factors, there is a solution in the form of input from students for Balaghah Science subject teachers to improve their learning techniques so that students easily understand the material well. namely: the teacher reads the book followed by explaining the material from the chapter that has been read, then the teacher gives directions to students to practice reading the book Balahah and practice writing balaghah phrases in Arabic on the blackboard.

Abstract

The development of information technology and social media has an impact on accelerating cultural exchange, this is not accompanied by an acceleration of literacy, especially Arabic literacy. There is an assumption that things that smell Arabic are considered as symbols of Islam, for this reason this abdimas aims to provide literacy training in Arabic language and culture for Nasyiatul Aisyiyah cadres, the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, Sidoarjo. it is hoped that later they will provide literacy insights that have an impact that is not easily consumed by news. hoaxes and can provide enlightenment to the community, especially in the Arabic language field. This activity is carried out with a workshop or literacy camp model as well as seminars on Arabic language and culture in the nuances of Christian culture. The results of the pre-test assessment showed that 85% of the participants could not distinguish between language literacy and Islamic culture originating from the Qur'an and general Arabic cultural literacy which had nothing to do with the Qur'an, while the post-test results showed 95% participants can sort out things related to Islam and Arabic culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the increase in students' vocabulary listening skills before and after implementing the Mondly Arabic application and to determine the effectiveness of using the Mondly Arabic application for class XI students at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. This research uses a quantitative experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection method used in this research was observation, pretest and posttest questions, and documentation. Besides that, data analysis in this study used the normality test and paired samples t-test. The sample taken in this research was class XI.1 of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo, totaling 34 students. From the results of research on increasing students' vocabulary through test questions, the pre-test average was 63.97 and the post-test average was 86.47. The calculated results of the paired samples t-test sig (2-tailed)<Research Alpha (0.000*<0.05), show the effectiveness of the Mondly Arabic application in improving students' vocabulary listening skills. This proves the significant effectiveness of using the Mondly Arabic application to improve students' Arabic vocabulary listening skills.

Abstract

Teacher strategy has an important role in learning. Therefore, this study examines the teacher's strategy in implementing an merdeka curriculum in Arabic language learning for grade X students at Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo High School. The objectives of this study are, 1) to find out the teacher's strategy in implementing an merdeka curriculum in Arabic language learning for grade X students at Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo High School, 2) to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are reducing data, presenting data that has been collected and drawing conclusions from the data that has been obtained or verification. The results of this study are the Arabic language teacher's strategy in implementing an merdeka curriculum in Arabic language learning for class X students at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo, there are three teacher strategies, namely 1) lesson planning, 2) lesson implementation and 3) assessment. And the supporting factors consist of independent curriculum workshops, and adequate learning facilities and inhibiting factors consist of adjusting the learning process for students, and lack of interest in learning Arabic

Abstract

Language is a communicative phenomenon in a social context so that the ability to speak Arabic is no longer a complement but a vital requirement that must be mastered by prospective haj and umrah pilgrims. Therefore, the focus of research conducted by researchers is on user response to the design of a traveling-based communicative Arabic language e-book for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims at KBIH Jabal Nur Sidoarjo. This study used a descriptive qualitative method approach with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and questionnaires and data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. The results showed a percentage of 90.8%, meaning that most of the congregation stated that the traveling-based communicative Arabic ebook included a new design typology that could be used as a guide in communicating practical Arabic in Saudi Arabia. Highlights: Vital Language Skill: Proficiency in Arabic becomes essential for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims due to the communicative nature of these journeys. Innovative Design: The study focuses on a new design typology for a traveling-based communicative Arabic e-book. Positive Reception: Research findings reveal a 90.8% approval rate among participants, indicating the effectiveness of the e-book for practical Arabic communication in Saudi Arabia. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the challenges faced by students in Maharah Kalam (Arabic speaking skills) learning and the solutions implemented in an Islamic junior high school in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative approach, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The participants included Arabic language teachers and eighth-grade students. The findings revealed that Maharah Kalam learning comprised three stages: planning, implementation through group-based conversation practice, and evaluation. The difficulties experienced by students were attributed to linguistic factors, such as pronunciation, sentence structure, and vocabulary, as well as non-linguistic factors, including students' educational background, environment, lack of interest, and limited parental support. To address these challenges, the school introduced the mandatory BTQ (Baca Tulis Quran) activity outside regular lessons. This research contributes to the understanding of Maharah Kalam learning in the context of an Islamic junior high school and provides insights into the factors affecting students' Arabic speaking skills. Further research could explore additional strategies to enhance Maharah Kalam learning and consider the influence of motivation, learning environment, and technological integration.
