Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang pemanfaatan website resmi Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Barat dalam mendorong terwujudnya keterbukaan informasi publik. Lahirnya Undang-Undang Nomor 14 Tahun 2008 tentang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik memberikan ruang bagi masyarakat untuk memenuhi haknya dalam partisipasi, pengambilan keputusan atau pembuatan kebijakan oleh pemerintah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi kepustakaan.  Penelitian ini mengkaji keterbukaan informasi publik pada website pemerintah berdasarkan aspek keterbukaan informasi publik yaitu memuat  informasi yang wajib disediakan dan diumumkan secara berkala, informasi yang wajib diumumkan secara serta-merta, dan informasi yang wajib tersedia setiap saat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, kuantitas dan kualitas muatan informasi publik yang ditampilkan dalam website resmi Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Barat sudah cukup baik. Namun demikian, masih diperlukan berbagai upaya peningkatan dari isi informasi dalam portal website, sekaligus peningkatan kapasitas pengetahuan, wawasan, keterampilan bagi petugas penyediaan dan pelayanan informasi publik, sehingga hal tersebut dapat semakin mengoptimalisasi pemanfaatan website serta mempercepat proses pelayanan informasi kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the roles of writers and public figures as reading ambassadors in promoting literacy culture and increasing reading interest in the community. The formulation of this research focuses on the comparison of strategies used by writers and public figures in spreading literacy messages, as well as the impact of both roles on society. The method used in this research is a comparative study with a qualitative approach, which involves collecting and analyzing data from various written sources, including books, articles and related reports. The results show that authors, through their profound and inspiring literary works, are able to create a captivating reading experience and build a strong emotional connection with readers. On the other hand, public figures utilize their popularity and extensive networks on social media to spread literacy messages in a more direct and interactive way, reaching a larger audience in a short period of time. Despite the differences in approaches and strategies used, collaboration between writers and public figures has been shown to strengthen literacy promotion efforts. This study concludes that the synergy between these two roles can create a significant impact in improving the reading culture in society. By utilizing their respective strengths, writers and public figures can jointly encourage higher reading interest and provide sustainable benefits for the social and intellectual development of the community.

Abstract

This study examines the use of modern media in delivering political messages during the 2024 Banda Aceh regional election, focusing on the effectiveness of social media in influencing voter behaviour. In the digital era, social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube have replaced traditional methods in political campaigns. These platforms enable candidates to reach voters quickly and interactively. The research analyses how each candidate pair utilizes various modern media platforms to shape public opinion and encourage the community to vote for them in the election. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature review by examining and analyzing the modern media content used by each candidate pair. The findings indicate that each candidate selected platforms based on their target audience. Voter responses show that young voters are more attracted to creative content on social media such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and YouTube. In contrast, for adult voters, political messages delivered through direct and traditional campaign media, such as billboards, flyers, banners, and similar media, were more effective. However, challenges such as the spread of misinformation and the accuracy of audience targeting remain significant factors affecting campaign effectiveness. The study concludes that modern media play an essential role in supporting the delivery of political messages by each candidate pair. Nonetheless, these emerging challenges require special attention to maximize their influence on voters.

Abstract

Tulak Bala merupakan salah satu tradisi yang setiap tahun dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Tradisi ini telah melekat dalam budaya masyarakat Aceh khususnya di wilayah Barat Selatan Aceh namun kerap dinilai bertentangan dengan syariat Islam. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana ulama dayah, yang memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan sosial dan keagamaan masyarakat Aceh Barat, menyikapi tradisi Tulak Bala tersebut. Kajian penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dimana pengumpulan datanya diperoleh dari proses wawancara dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis Perspektif Mubahatsah Ulama Dayah Aceh Barat (MUDAB) serta menelisik pandangan MUDAB dalam mendukung, menolak, atau memberikan sudut pandang tertentu mengenai praktik tulak bala, sekaligus alasan yang mendasari sikapnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MUDAB menganggap tradisi ini sebagai manifestasi budaya lokal yang masih relevan dan dapat dilakukan untuk menjaga keselarasan antara adat dan agama, selama tidak melanggar prinsip-prinsip syariat Islam. Namun, perlu adanya edukasi dan penyampaian pemahaman kepada masyarakat untuk menghindari praktik-praktik yang dapat mengarah pada penyimpangan aqidah dan ajaran islam.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the digital era has significantly impacted adolescent morality, including that of junior high school students. This study aims to describe the forms of moral degradation occurring among students, analyze the roles and strategies of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in preventing moral decline, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing these strategies at SMPN 3 Aceh Barat. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with purposive sampling to determine informants: the school principal, five IRE teachers, and five students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the findings was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that although students’ overall moral behaviour is considered reasonably good, various forms of moral degradation are still evident, such as low discipline, lack of courtesy, and misuse of social media. IRE teachers play a strategic role through exemplary behaviour, integrating moral values into instruction, and habituating religious activities at school. Supporting factors for the success of these strategies include teacher commitment, parental support, and a religious school environment. In contrast, the main obstacles include external environmental influences, low internal motivation among students, and limited parental supervision. This study recommends strengthening the synergy between schools, families, and communities to foster morally upright and virtuous student character.
