Abstract

This paper examines the Medina Charter, the 1945 Constitution, and Aceh Qanun No. 4 of 2016 as a fundamental source of structural da’wah policies. Structural da’wah is a character of da’wah that involves the state directly in regulating policies related to the implementation of da’wah. The primary purpose of this research is to describe the role and position of the Medina Charter, the 1945 Indonesian Constitution, and Aceh Qanun No. 4 of 2016, being the basis for the implementation of structural da’wah and discussed the regulation about the inter-religious correlation in those three regulations. This research is qualitative research using the content analysis method. The results showed that the Medina Charter, the 1945 Indonesian Constitution, and Aceh Qanun No. 4 of 2016 is a state acknowledgment of the structural da’wah implementation in Aceh because the da’wah is under the direct control of the state or government. The Medina Charter, as a result of the Prophet’s ijtihad, contains guidelines for inter-religious relations and the role of the state in regulating people’s lives. The 1945 Constitution of Indonesia is the highest source of law in the Republic of Indonesia, which states the guarantees the independence of citizens to embrace religion according to their beliefs. While Aceh Qanun No. 4 contains the rules for spreading religion amid society.

Abstract

This research focuses on the lack of self-regulation in students during the learning process. Students who have good self-control skills will be able to solve the problems they face. Parental treatment and gender are important factors in student self-control. The level of self-control demonstrated by individuals can vary based on their gender and the way they were raised by their parents. Variations in student self-control are shaped by many internal and external influences. Students' self-control allows them to effectively manage and regulate their behavior in the learning process, preventing them from giving in to temptation and engaging in negative or deviant actions. This research examines parental treatment and gender to analyze student self-control. This ex post facto research used a 3 x 2 factorial design. Students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Ar-raniry were the research population. Proportional random sampling was used. The instrument used was a questionnaire with validity test results > 0.304 and reliability test results for the self-control instrument were 0.903 and the parental treatment variable was 0.933. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. The results of research on the interaction between the variables parental treatment and gender, the Fcount value obtained was 0.238, so it can be concluded that Fcount < Ftable, in accordance with the criteria for hypothesis testing via Anava, so this shows there is no interaction between parental treatment and gender. Gender in influencing students' self-control in learning.

Abstract

Social interaction plays a crucial role in education as it fosters communication skills and emotional intelligence, essential for personal and professional growth. Additionally, interacting with peers and educators in a learning environment enhances understanding and knowledge retention, supporting collaborative learning and problem-solving skills. This study aims to explore social guidance based on Islamic principles implemented by students of Islamic Counseling at Nibong Tebal Vocational College, located at Jalan Bukit Panchor, 14300 Nibong Tebal, Penang, Malaysia. The research was designed to help individuals identify, handle, and overcome social issues, enabling them to adapt well within their social environments. Data collection involved direct observations and interviews with lecturers and students at the college. During the implementation, students guided classroom discussions and activities in open areas like reading gardens. The results showed a significant improvement in social interactions, including greetings, smiles, salutations, and handshakes. The guidance provided has also been integrated into the students' daily lives, enhancing their understanding and awareness of both positive and negative social interactions, and developing empathy, social care, and good social character

Abstract

Self-adjustment is difficult for correctional students (Andikpas) in the Special Development Institute for Children (LPKA). The life of Andikpas before entering LPKA is more directed towards freedom but in LPKA Andikpas are required to be able to follow the rules and must be able to adapt to their new environment. This study aims to determine the description of the problem of self-adjustment of Andikpas in LPKA Class II Banda Aceh and the role of LPKA Class II Banda Aceh Officers in overcoming the problem of self-adjustment of Andikpas. This research uses a qualitative method approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study found that the problems felt and experienced by children in LPKA Banda Aceh are feelings of fear and anxiety, feelings of guilt, disappointment, and sadness because they are away from their families, difficulty accepting themselves, and lack of a sense of responsibility for themselves. So, to overcome these problems, LPKA officers provide services, guidance, supervision, and implementation of religious, educational, independence, and skills development programs for Andikpas at LPKA Class II Banda Aceh so that correctional students can better adjust to themselves and their community environment.

Abstract

This study examines the use of modern media in delivering political messages during the 2024 Banda Aceh regional election, focusing on the effectiveness of social media in influencing voter behaviour. In the digital era, social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube have replaced traditional methods in political campaigns. These platforms enable candidates to reach voters quickly and interactively. The research analyses how each candidate pair utilizes various modern media platforms to shape public opinion and encourage the community to vote for them in the election. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature review by examining and analyzing the modern media content used by each candidate pair. The findings indicate that each candidate selected platforms based on their target audience. Voter responses show that young voters are more attracted to creative content on social media such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and YouTube. In contrast, for adult voters, political messages delivered through direct and traditional campaign media, such as billboards, flyers, banners, and similar media, were more effective. However, challenges such as the spread of misinformation and the accuracy of audience targeting remain significant factors affecting campaign effectiveness. The study concludes that modern media play an essential role in supporting the delivery of political messages by each candidate pair. Nonetheless, these emerging challenges require special attention to maximize their influence on voters.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of parents in cultivating noble character in children in Mibo Village, Banda Aceh. It is driven by the lack of contextual research on parenting strategies in Acehnese communities, which integrate religious values, local customs, and the influence of modernization. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved five parents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation, and were analyzed through the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Findings revealed that democratic parenting was predominantly applied, supported by strategies such as role modeling, discussion, storytelling, and social engagement. The main challenges included peer influence, digital technology exposure, and inconsistent rule enforcement by parents. This study contributes by highlighting the critical synergy between family and social environments in moral education and recommends the development of culturally rooted family mentoring programs.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama dan utama dalam membentuk karakter serta perilaku sosial anak. Namun, kondisi broken home akibat perceraian atau konflik berkepanjangan dalam keluarga dapat berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan sosial anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak broken home terhadap perilaku sosial anak di Gampong Alue Pangkat, Kecamatan Tanah Luas, Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak dari keluarga broken home cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam bersosialisasi, menunjukkan perilaku agresif, kurang percaya diri, serta mengalami kesulitan dalam membangun hubungan sosial yang sehat. Faktor utama yang memengaruhi kondisi ini meliputi kurangnya perhatian dan kasih sayang dari orang tua, tekanan psikologis, serta pengaruh lingkungan sekitar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peran aktif dari keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat dalam memberikan pendampingan serta dukungan psikososial agar anak-anak yang mengalami broken home dapat mengembangkan perilaku sosial yang positif.Kata Kunci: Broken Home, Perilaku Sosial, Anak, Dampak Psikologis, Aceh Utara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami bentuk-bentuk komunikasi efektif antara orang tua dengan anak, untuk mengetahui dan mendalami pelaksanaan komunikasi efektif antara orang tua tunggal dengan anak, untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh orang tua tunggal dalam membangun komunikasi efektif dengan anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan, menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara semiterstruktur, dan dokumentasi dengan sumber data berjumlah 10 orang. Teknik analisis data dilakukan yakni dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama bentuk-bentuk komunikasi antara orang tua dengan anak yaitu komunikasi antarpribadi, komunikasi kelompok, dan komunikasi pembelajaran. Kedua pelaksanaan komunikasi antara orang tua tunggal dengan anak yaitu dengan memberikan hukuman kepada anak serta mengatur kegiatan anak sehari-hari. Ketiga kendala yang dihadapi oleh orang tua tunggal dalam membangun komunikasi efektif dengan anak terbagi dua, yaitu kendala internal dan kendala eksternal. Kendala internal berasal dari dalam diri individu orang tunggal terkait bahasa yang digunakan, emosi yang tidak bisa dikendalikan, serta kurangnya pendidikan dan pengetahuan orang tua. Kendala eksternal berasal dari luar individu terkait lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan sosial seperti halnya ada anak yang masih melawan orang tua serta pengaruh teman sebaya.

Abstract

Abstrak : Dalam al-Qur`an surat ash-Shaffat ayat 102-103 berisi tentang kisah penyembelihan yang dilakukan oleh Nabi Ibrahim terhadap anaknya Ismail. Perintah penyembelihan dari Allah ini merupakan satu cobaan luar biasa dan mengandung beban psikologis yang berat, tidak hanya bagi Nabi Ibrahim tapi juga bagi anaknya Ismail. Beban berat bagi Nabi Ibrahim karena Ismail adalah anaknya yang sudah puluhan tahun dinantikan, sementara bagi Ismail beban beratnya bukanlah karena dia yang akan disembelih melainkan dia tidak sanggup melihat ayahnya bersedih saat melaksanakan tugas tersebut. Realitasnya sebelum melaksanakan penyembelihan, terjadi dialog yang luar biasa mendalam antara ayah dan anak tersebut, karena Nabi Ibrahim tidak serta merta melakukannya akan tetapi meminta tanggapan dari Ismail. Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang implementasi nilai-nilai konseling dalam Kisah Qurban Nabi Ibrahim pada surat ash-Shaffat 102-103. Penelitian ini digolongkan sebagai penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam dialog antara Nabi Ibrahim dan anaknya mengandung beberapa nilai konseling, yaitu : keterampilan komunikasi konseling, nilai empati dan kasih sayang, nilai Spiritualitas dan nilai kerjasama dalam pengambilan keputusan baik antara konselor dengan klien maupun antara ayah dan anak.

Abstract

Moehammad Ali Hasyim atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama Ali Hasjmy merupakan salah seorang tokoh multi dimensi yang lahir dari Bumi Serambi Mekkah Aceh-Indonesia. Ketokohannya tidak hanya diakui di Aceh tapi juga di Indonesia bahkan di dunia terutama di negara-negara Melayu di Asia Tenggara. Ketokohannya dapat dilihat dari serangkaian ide, gagasan, pemikiran dan karya-karya yang tertuang dalam puluhan buku yang menginspirasi hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pemikiran, ide, gagasan  dan karya Ali Hajmy dalam bidang dakwah dan bagaimana ide serta gagasan tersebut diujudkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan analisis kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi tokoh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  Ali Hasjmy dapat dikatagorikan sebagai pemikiran dan tokoh dakwah di Aceh bahkan Indonesia. Hal ini ditandai dengan buku-bukunya tentang dakwah dan yang paling spektakuler adalah dengan mendirikan Fakultas Dakwah IAIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh yang saat ini dikenal dengan Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Ar-Raniry sebagai fakultas pertama di Indonesia.
